Friction Brake Patents (Class 310/123)
  • Patent number: 9035519
Abstract: An electrical apparatus is provided. The electrical apparatus includes a first rotation device; a second rotation device co-axially disposed with the first rotation device for electromagnetically matching with each other; and a brake device connected to the second rotation device to constrain the second rotation device from a rotation.

  • Patent number: 8878466
Abstract: An electro-mechanical linear actuator unit comprising an actuator housing that accommodates at least two electric drives, each of which, when actuated by a control device, sets an associated drive of a respective spindle drive into rotation for adjusting linear movement of the associated spindle drive in order to produce relative linear adjustment of a control rod. The two electric drives are located in the actuator housing in such manner that relative adjustment can be produced by simultaneous actuation of the two electric drives, as the sum of the adjustment movements of the associated spindle drives, or by actuating a single electric drive, as the adjustment movement of the associated spindle drive. A respective brake is provided, in an area of each of the two electric drives, which can be selectively actuated by the control device to then prevent the adjustment movement of the respective associated spindle drive.

  • Patent number: 7528512
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromechanical motor (M) provided with an actuator (A) having an outer casing (30-30?-30?) surrounding a stator (20-20?) possessing a coil (24). The rotor (10) is also disposed inside the stator (20-20?). The invention is remarkable in that the actuator has two distinct and independent outlets (S1, S2) capable respectively of actuating, one after the other, first and second transmissions (C1, C2).
