Abstract: An adjustable storage system provides a space efficient system of storage cabinets. The system includes a rectangular base platform with a pair of primary rails running along the length of the base platform. A plurality of primary storage cabinets is slidably engaged with the primary rails. Each of the primary storage cabinets has a pair of doors on one side and a handle on an adjacent side. A secondary rail running above the primary cabinets and parallel to the primary rails supports a plurality of secondary storage cabinets that are each slidably engaged with the secondary rail via a rolling mechanism. A rotating joint in the rolling mechanism allows the secondary cabinets to be rotated about the vertical axis for greater accessibility. The system can also include a counter top attached to a terminal end of the primary rails via a plurality of support beams.

Abstract: A merchandiser rack comprising a rear storage module having a storage area including at least one shelf and at least two display modules. The display modules have shelves, with at least a portion of the rear of the display modules having shelves being open to allow stocking of the shelves from the rear. The display modules are pivotally connected to the rear storage module to allow the display modules to be rotated relative to the rear storage module between an open position and a closed position. The open position allows access to the rear of the display modules. The merchandiser rack, when in the closed position, has an outside periphery, and the display modules are not accessible through the rear of the display modules from the outside periphery along any horizontal line.

Edges of the rotating shelf array top, rotating shelf array floor, rotating shelf array floor and rotating shelf array curved back define a rotating shelf array mouth, through which the adjustable shelves may be accessed. Each rotating shelf array is rotatably attached to a base closet. The storage closet may have storage closet doors to permit access to items stored behind the base closet. Alternate embodiments include a rotating shelf array sized to be mounted to a storage room wall step, and a clam-shell rotating shelf array designed to be mounted to a flat wall.

Abstract: A rotary file having an outer fixed cabinet and an inner cabinet rotatable on a vertical axis includes a locking mechanism comprised of a pair of simultaneously movable stops that can interfere with rotation of the inner cabinet in either direction. The stops are spaced from each other and are hinge-mounted to a fixed base of the outer cabinet so that they can be raised up to an interfering position with any one of the four sides of a square base member of the inner rotatable cabinet. One stop precludes rotation of the inner cabinet in a clockwise direction, while the other stop precludes rotation of the inner cabinet in a counterclockwise direction. An elongated bell crank member, rotatable on a horizontal axis by means of a user-activated locking handle, is connected to the hinge-mounted stops by a pair of vertically extending parallel links, movement of the bell crank member causing concurrent movement of the stops between their interfering and non-interfering positions.

The uppermost and lowermost trays in the stack are free to rotate with the flanges and the balance of the trays are restrained from rotation so as to be disengaged from one bank of flanges and received between the planes of another bank of flanges.

Abstract: A carousel tool and parts kit comprising floor engaging erect stand structure including a base supported upon a floor by casters and an elongated slotted centrally erect post having guide slots therein. The carousel tool and parts kit further comprises a tool and parts storage compartment comprising a horizontal disc shaped platform or base, a series of X-shaped vertical walls which rest upon the platform or base and extend vertically upward with each vertical wall forming an equal included angle with the next adjacent wall. Each of the walls are preferably of peg board and support one or more of a variety of fixtures for carrying tools and parts. In addition, a plurality of sliding drawer containers are carried by the platform beneath the lower surface thereof, also for parts and tools.

Abstract: An article storage and retrieval system has a plurality of annular and generally concentric tracks of any desired shape each carrying a train of holder frames each having a pair of ends spaced apart by a gap. Each train has at each of the holder frames a pivot connecting each frame to the adjacent frames for relative pivoting of the frames and adaptation of the train to any shape track. A set of vertically spaced holders is removably supported in each of the holder frames so that when the gaps thereof are aligned in a service aisle it is possible to obtain access to any of the holders.

Abstract: A tool box includes a base and a plurality of nested pyramidal tool racks concentrically and rotatably mounted on a rigid vertical rod extending perpendicularly from the base. Each of the pyramidal tool racks except the innermost core has a removable side. Each removable side can be removed, exposing the sides of another smaller pyramidal tool rack nested within the pyramidal tool rack from which that side is removed. A variety of clips are attached to the outer surfaces of the respective pyramidal tool racks for supporting various types of tools. An outer cover shell having a top handle associated therewith is positioned over the outer pyramidal tool rack and is lockable to the top of the vertical rod.

Abstract: A display stand is provided with a plurality of ring-like shelves arranged in a vertical array above a base with the first, third, fifth, etc., shelves above the base being in a first group which are rotatable in a first direction and with the second, fourth, sixth, etc., shelves above the base being in a second group which are rotatable in a second, opposite direction. A plurality of rotatable drive rods are spaced equidistantly around a circle in the base and project upwardly therefrom within the interior of the ring-like shelves. Each drive rod carries fixed rollers which rotate with the drive rod and which each have an annular groove therein for supporting and frictionally engaging an inner portion of one of the ring-like shelves. One half of the drive rods are thus engaged with the first group of shelves and are driven by a motor to rotate in the first direction. The other half of the drive rods are thus engaged with the first group of shelves and are driven to rotate in the second, opposite direction.

Abstract: Concentric annular tracks support for rotary movement a set of storage trains in the form of concentric cylindrical shelves. Each train has a vertically directed discontinuity and is driven by a separate driving unit so that the discontinuities can be aligned to form a radially directed access aisle. A stationary control member controls the driving units of the trains. In a modification, stationary storage shelves surround the trains and are equipped with conveyor for moving respective holders in vertical direction and along the circumference of each train and also radially from one train to another. Also, an elevator is provided for operation in the aisle.

Abstract: A high density integrated circuitry package is disclosed where gates containing the circuit cards are rotatably mounted in the cabinet with some of the gates fixed to a central core and other gates pivoted to the core. The pivoted gates are extendable outside of the cabinet for diagnostic and maintenance purposes and for simultaneously providing access to the fixed gates.

Abstract: A display device including a plurality of generally vertical display racks supported to form a rectangular configuration, each of the display racks supported for rotation between a first position, wherein their front faces face outwardly for displaying the display items, and a second position wherein the front faces face inwardly such that the display racks form a closed pilfer proof configuration. The display racks are supported for simultaneous shifting between the first position and the second position and such that each of the vertical sides of the closed configuration is formed by an end wall of one of the display racks and one of the faces of an adjacent one of the display racks.

A bin support column having an exterior shape of a regular prism is mounted for rotation on a base. Each face of the support column has an array of vertically spaced pairs of prongs. Each pair of prongs engages and releasably secures a bin to the face of the column. Each bin has a bottom wall, two side walls, a forward wall, and a rearward wall. Each bin is mounted to the support column with its rearward wall adjacent a face of the column by means of two slots which receive the pair of prongs projecting from the face of the support column. Preferably, each bin has a cover which is hinged to open and close over the top of the bin and which is slidably engaged with the side walls of the bin to allow complete removal therefrom.

Abstract: An advertisement pillar for use on public streets, squares or in buildings for displaying advertising cards which can be dispensed in blank form and thereafter reinserted into the device for subsequent display. The pillar is comprised of an outer transparent housing in which a revolving display unit is positioned. The advertising cards are removably attached to mounting panels which can, if desired, be transparent and provided with a rear light source.

The housing is transversely divided by a plurality of partitions arranged in vertically spaced relation to form a plurality of compartments. Each of the partitions rotatably support a circular upwardly open fishing tackle receiving tray with each of the trays being movable outwardly through the access opening with respect to its supporting partition by a radial slot formed in the respective partition.

The discs are divided into compartments, which are themselves separated by thin metallic rods, thus forming divisions into which cases or drawers can be inserted, thus permitting stocking by series of small articles.

Abstract: A transportable overbed table embodying a wheeled base from which there projects upwardly a vertical column on which there is vertically slidable a table-supporting carriage. An elevation screw is provided for raising and lowering the carriage. In one form of the invention such carriage movement is effected under the control of an electric motor and in another form it is effected manually under the control of a hand wheel. In the latter instance, the weight of the table is counterbalanced by means of an involute clock-type spring which is associated with the elevation screw. In both forms, the carriage preferably, but not necessarily, may support one or more drawer units which are capable of universal swinging movement in a horizontal plane.

Abstract: The invention relates to a storage device for housing and displaying cassettes and like articles.The storage device comprises a drum like construction formed by two spaced circular members interconnected around their periphery and provided with an inwardly directed peripheral flange. The spaced side members each have a central aperture for rotatably supporting an inner assembly formed by two ring-like members interconnected by flat connecting elements. The ring-like members each have an inwardly directed annular flange for supporting the inner edges of cassettes positioned between the two stationary space members and which are inserted through slots at suitable positions in the flanges. The cassettes are held spaced apart by a plurality of pins or projections around the inner periphery of the ring-like members.Storage facilities may also be provided for cassettes within the central portion of the inner rotatably assembly.

Abstract: A compartmentalized container for storing fishing lures and other fishing components including a housing having an opening on at least one side and a cut-out adjacent to the opening on the top of the housing. A plurality of horizontal circular trays are disposed within the housing in a superposed stacked relation. The trays are rotatable about a common vertical shaft within the housing, with each tray having a cut-out which matches the cut-out in the top of the housing. When the cut-outs in the trays are aligned with the cut-out in the housing, the walls of the trays completely close the opening in the side of the housing. Each of the trays may be rotated such that the contents of the trays are accessible through the cut-out in the top of the housing. In one embodiment, the container has a vertical aperture which allows the container to be mounted over the shaft supporting the seat in a fishing vessel. The storage container may be locked on a motorized fishing vessel having a key operated ignition.
