The seat assembly includes a seat back portion; and a seat portion coupled to the seat back portion, the seat portion being in the form of a bucket lid configured to engage a top peripheral rim of a bucket so as to enable the bucket to be used as a seat for a user that provides back support for the user while the user is in a seated position. In one or more embodiments, at least one latching device is configured to secure the seat portion of the seat assembly to the bucket, and the at least one latching device is configured to engage an outwardly extending rim of the bucket.
