Abstract: A seat assembly for a bucket is disclosed herein. The seat assembly includes a seat back portion; and a seat portion coupled to the seat back portion, the seat portion being in the form of a bucket lid configured to engage a top peripheral rim of a bucket so as to enable the bucket to be used as a seat for a user that provides back support for the user while the user is in a seated position. In one or more embodiments, at least one latching device is configured to secure the seat portion of the seat assembly to the bucket, and the at least one latching device is configured to engage an outwardly extending rim of the bucket.

Abstract: A collapsible and portable chair for storage in a container. The chair includes two separate components: a seat portion and back portion. The back portion is received within an aperture of seat portion and supported by a collar. The back portion and the seat portion are connected with a tether and sized to be placed within a standard bucket during storage and for placement on the top of the bucket during use.

Abstract: An article of furniture is disclosed. The article of furniture comprises a base frame assembly configured to support an attached seating unit. Other modules or components may also be attached to the base frame assembly. The article of furniture may also comprise a supplemental frame assembly attached to the base frame assembly to extend the size of the article of furniture and to support an additional or larger module or component. The other modules or components may comprise one or more of a casegood unit, a backrest, an armrest, a privacy panel, a console, an outlet (for power and/or data), etc. Electronic devices may be incorporated. A set of articles of furniture is also disclosed; the articles of furniture have a modular construction and can be assembled on the base frame assembly by combinations of modules and components.

Abstract: A sliding child seat for use with a stationary surface, generally a stationary group dinging surface such as a kitchen counter-top, bar, or fixed table in a restaurant. In various embodiments, a sliding child seat for use with a stationary surface generally includes a frame member to receive a child seat, said frame member being connected to the stationary surface by sliding means, said frame member being switchable between a retracted position and an extended position, said frame member defining an aperture and having an inner perimeter, and a child seat to sit in said frame member when said frame member is in said extended state, said child seat having a lower portion and an upper portion, said lower portion fitting through the aperture defined by said frame member, said lower portion having an outer perimeter smaller than the inner perimeter of said frame member.

Abstract: Systems are disclosed that relate to modular furniture capable of providing conventional desk functions as well as integrated electronic components which house, store, and operate electronic devices, such as computers and associated devices. Furniture components of a traditional office are adapted to house a plurality of electronic components of a traditional computer system. Connectors, expansion slots, networking capabilities, and other storage units are provided within the furniture components enabling several electronic devices to be installed within the furniture components and communicate with each other, integrating a fully functional computer system into a classroom or office desk. The disclosed modular furniture systems provide multiple resources and functions in a small footprint and are useable in a variety of school, personal and work settings.

Abstract: A wooden piece of furniture for changing shoes has a cabinet with two parallel benches upon the sides of the cabinet. Each bench has a seat and storage rack beneath the seat. At the end of each bench, a cabinet stores slippers, footwear, and outerwear upon shelves behind doors and within a drawer. This furniture also includes a compartment within the cabinet for hanging storage of items, hooks within the compartment, seats stiffened by rails and a beam, and a cabinet stiffened by panel diaphragm action. This furniture can store both footwear and articles of clothing temporarily placed thereon by guests and other visitors.

Abstract: “The Fold Up Dormitory” is intended for use in situations where living and working quarters for a small or large number of people are required on short notice or irregular intervals. The apparatus is made of wood, steel and premanufactured hardware, and comprises components for sleeping, working and storage of small items. It is mobile, simple to operate and offers many options to those who use it. The apparatus comprises: a central core; a pair of folding frames, each pivotally connected to the central core on opposite sides thereof, for rotation about vertical frame-to-core axes of connection; a bed platform pivotally connected to a first side of the central core, for rotation about a horizontal bed-to-core axis of connection; a desk surface pivotally connected to a second side of the central core, for rotation about a horizontal desk-to-core axis of connection; and storage shelving within the central core.

The devise is constructed on a base board with four sides. Its front side has one in-built height adjustable chair bar with chair, and adjustable visual stimulating roof. Its back side has height adjustable parallel bars and one mirror. On right and left side it has two height and length adjustable hands in addition to that right side have height measuring scale on the wall and extended space to stand and to keep weighing machine. On the top it has space for two sided video display frame and two stands for video cameras.

Abstract: A desk unit assembly deployable from a closed position to an open position. The desk unit assembly has a desk portion and a chair assembly. The desk portion has a top, two opposed and vertically extending sidewalls, a rear wall and a front wall, the top, sidewalls, front and rear walls define a chamber therebetween. A chair assembly has a seat and a backrest, the seat is disposed within the chamber and the backrest forms a portion of the front wall of the desk portion when the desk unit assembly is in the closed position. The assembly has a generally cubical shape with substantially flat outer surfaces of the two sidewalls, the front wall and the rear wall when in the closed position and when the assembly is in the open position the chamber can accommodate the legs of a user.

Abstract: Storage apparatus are provided that attach to vehicle seat backrests and that have a compartment for storing items therein. Each storage apparatus includes opposite upper and lower walls, opposite side walls, and a rear wall that collectively define a compartment. A door is pivotally mounted to the storage apparatus and is movable between a closed position for covering an opening and an open position for allowing access to the storage apparatus via the opening. Each storage apparatus can be removably secured to the elongated support members in multiple vertically spaced-apart positions. Two or more storage apparatus may be removably secured to a vehicle seat backrest in adjacent, vertically spaced-apart relationship.

Abstract: A health care test kiosk includes a carrel body that supports a console housing and has a vacant knee-space beneath the console housing. The carrel body includes a support side panel forming a lateral side and extending beyond the console housing and the knee-space. A physiological test interface is connected to and supported by the carrel body on the support side panel. A retractable seat is movably connected to the support side panel of the carrel body for selective positioning in a location ranging from withdrawn into the knee-space beneath the console housing to extended completely from the knee-space.

Abstract: A tray table for a vehicle that is extensible from and may be stored in a center console. The center console has longitudinally shiftable lateral side walls that define a pocket for storing the tray table. The lateral walls of the center console are moveable along a track to permit fore and aft adjustment of the location of the table relative to a seat in the vehicle. A push button is provided on a pivot locking mechanism to lock and unlock a tray support arm. A cup holder may be provided on the tray support arm that is moveable between a storage position in which it is parallel to the tray support arm and a use position in which it is perpendicular to the tray support arm.
