Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine having a cabinet forming an outer appearance and having an inlet port formed at the front, a tub provided inside the cabinet for storing wash water, a drum provided inside the tub to be rotatable, and a door installed in the cabinet for opening and closing the inlet port. The door is provided with an auxiliary door which can be freely opened and closed during the washing process independently of the door, so that laundry can be added even during the washing process.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bathroom management apparatus including a cabinet, a frame provided at an inner side of the cabinet to reinforce stiffness of the cabinet, and having a lower side that is spaced apart from a bottom of the cabinet, a function module including at least one of a towel care module, a sterilizing module, a lock box module, a refrigerating module, and a charging module, and mounted inside the frame, a dryer coupled with the function module and disposed inside the frame, and a vane assembly disposed between the cabinet and a lower side of the frame. A first air outlet is provided for airflow in a forward direction, and a second air outlet provided for airflow in a downward direction. The vane assembly may switch a direction of the airflow received from the dryer through the first air outlet and the second air outlet.

Abstract: Lockbox systems for securing items in a vehicle. In one embodiment, a hollow rectangular body has an open side which may be closed by a door. One or more L shaped locking members are disposed on the rear of the door adjacent a first longitudinal side. As the door is closed, the members are positioned to reside in locking recesses in a wall of the body, abuttably locking the door at the hinged side. Near a second side of the door, a locking mechanism is disposed that can be actuated to move a locking bolt into a bolt recess to secure the door in the body opening. The rear side surfaces of the door may be beveled to pair against a ridge disposed inside the opening to deter attempts to pry the door open.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an externally operated alpha port for a rapid transfer port (RTP) system such as those found in isolation barrier systems. Means are provided for the actuation by the operator of the alpha port door locking system externally of the isolation barrier to facilitate the locking and unlocking of the alpha port door without requiring gloved entry into the isolation barrier. Means are also provided for opening and closing of the alpha port door with the actuation by the operator of a lever external to the isolation barrier.

Abstract: A method and mechanism for moving an element, such as a sliding door (1), is disclosed. In the movement a first end of the element is first turned outwards, a second opposite end is then turned out placing the element in parallel with the original location of the element. The element is then displaced by extending a pull-out guide (4). The mechanism comprises a housing (2), the pull-out guide rail (4), a lock-and-release mechanism (19) and at least two lever arms (8, 11, 14, 16, 27, 30, 33, 39, 42). One end of a first lever arm (8, 27, 39) is received in a pivoting point (10, 29, 41) at the pull-out guide rail (4) and the opposite end of said lever arm (8, 27, 39) is received in a pivoting point (9, 28, 40) at the housing (2). The pivoting point (10, 29, 41) at the pull-out guide rail (4) is placed at a first end of the pull-out guide rail (4).
