Screw Adjustment Patents (Class 33/838)
  • Patent number: 11904524
Abstract: A three-dimensional modeling device includes a modeling unit having a nozzle configured to eject a modeling material, a stage, a movement mechanism unit for changing a relative position between the nozzle and the stage, a measuring unit, a reference unit having a reference surface arranged at a position that corresponds to a deposition surface of the stage in an intersecting direction and where the reference surface can face the measuring unit, the reference unit being separate from the nozzle, and a control unit controlling the modeling unit and the movement mechanism unit. The control unit controls the measuring unit to measure a first distance between the measuring unit and the reference surface and a second distance between the measuring unit and the distal end surface, and decides a distance between a distal end surface of the nozzle and the deposition surface, based on the first and second distances.

  • Patent number: 6513286
Abstract: A tool for hanging fascia board includes three parts. A first part consists of a t-bar having two pieces attached perpendicularly together and designed to be removably mounted on the end of a rafter board with the flat elongated member lying against a side wall of the rafter and with a portion of the second perpendicular member overlying the top of the rafter and removably affixed to it through the use of nails driven through openings in the second perpendicular member. A support hanger is pivotably mounted to the t-bar and has a slot sized and configured to slidably receive a fascia board. A depth adjuster is mounted on the support hanger and may be reciprocated and fixed in a desired position to adjust the depth of the slot of the support hanger. Thus, the depth of the slot may be adjusted to facilitate attachment of fascia boards of varying dimensions such as, for example, 2×4, 2×6, 2×8, 2×10, and 2×12.

  • Patent number: 4986323
Abstract: Apparatus, having a principal body portion which is in the form of a box-like configuration, and a screw member threadably engaged into a port in the face of the body portion. The screw member includes a four flat sided body portion on its end, with a portion of the body portion threaded to threadably engage into the body of the apparatus. There is further included a spring loaded second screw member on a second face of the body meeting said perpendicular to the setting of the first screw, so that the end portion of the spring loaded second screw makes contact with the four flat sided body of the principal screw member. The four flat sided body is so calibrated so that as one complete turn of the principal screw is made, the screw either moves inward or outward 1/16 of an inch. Furthermore, each time one of the four flat faces of the body is moved to make contact with the second screw member, the screw has moved in or out a distance of 1/64 of an inch.
