With Condition-responsive Inductor Or Capacitor Patents (Class 334/6)
  • Patent number: 9496089
Abstract: A power connecting apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent noise generated from one electric device from interfering with other electrical devices. The apparatus includes a power plate that includes a common power portion configured to receive power from a battery, a plurality of individual power portions radially disposed around the common power portion and separated from each other, and a power connecting portion that connects the common power portion and the individual power portions. A ground plate includes a common ground portion grounded to a vehicle body, a plurality of individual ground portions radially disposed around the common ground portion and separated from each other, and a ground connecting portion that connects the common ground portion and the individual ground portions. In addition, a dielectric material plate is disposed between the power plate and the ground plate.

  • Patent number: 9209627
Abstract: A wireless power supply includes a multi-layer shim assembly. Each shim aids in alignment of coils and routing of conductors in a multi-layer coil array. A shield or PCB can be used as part of the multi-layer shim assembly. Wires can be routed through channels to the edge of the shim assembly or wires can protrude through a portion of the multi-layer shim assembly. Traces can be used to route current through the multi-layer shim assembly. Plastic shims can be created by over-molding coils with plastic.

  • Patent number: 7679461
Abstract: The invention discloses a varactor device (100) for improved temperature stability, comprising a first varactor (160) connected to a decoupling network (150). The device further comprises a voltage stabilizer (110), said stabilizer comprising a capacitor (140) and a temperature dependent capacitor (130), and in that the stabilizer comprises means for connection to a DC-feed (120). Suitably, the decoupling network (150) is connected in parallel to the first varactor (160), and the capacitor (140) of the voltage stabilizer (110) is connected in parallel to the decoupling network (150), the temperature dependent capacitor (130) of the voltage stabilizer (110) being connected in series to the diode of the voltage stabilizer (110).

  • Publication number: 20080266034
Abstract: Circuits, methods, apparatus, and code that provide low-noise and high-resolution electronic circuit tuning. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention adjusts a capacitance value by pulse-width modulating a control voltage for a switch in series with a capacitor. The pulse-width-modulated control signal can be adjusted using entry values found in a lookup table, by using analog or digital control signals, or by using other appropriate methods. The capacitance value tunes a frequency response or characteristic of an electronic circuit. The response can be made to be insensitive to conditions such as temperature, power supply voltage, or processing.
