Remote Alarm Patents (Class 340/426.18)
  • Patent number: 6788189
Abstract: Code verification is executed with a surveillance target such as an engine ECU or an immobility ECU installed in a vehicle. Failure of the verification indicates that the corresponding ECU may have been replaced. No reply to the verification indicates that the corresponding ECU may have been removed. The failure or no reply causes bus interference through a bus interference generator. Specifically, the bus interference generator generates to circulate, over the bus, a signal interfering with a signal from the ECUs connected with a local area network to disable a plurality of driver/receiver ICs. This interference with the ECUs results in ceasing normal operations and reducing product value of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6774779
Abstract: A vehicle security system with a tire monitoring device comprises at least one vehicle sensor for detecting unauthorized actions, at least one sensor module, a controller and a remote unit. The sensor module is attached to a tire of a vehicle for sensing the tire conditions and transmitting a first radio frequency signal including the tire conditions. The controller is attached to the vehicle, and is used for generating a plurality of signals of security system conditions in response to the at least one vehicle sensor and for receiving and operating the first radio frequency signal including the tire condition. The controller then is used for transmitting a second radio frequency signal including the security system condition signals and the tire conditions. The remote unit receives the second radio frequency signal and generates a plurality of remote indications for showing the security system conditions and the tire conditions.

  • Patent number: 6744364
Abstract: A distance sensitive remote control system includes a remote control transmitter that transmit a signal and a receiver than can receive the signal from the transmitter. A control device performs a function having a first and a second option. The control device responds to the signal received by the receiver and performs the first option if the distance between the remote control transmitter and the receiver is greater than a particular distance and performs the second option if the distance between the remote control transmitter and the receiver is less than a particular distance.

Abstract: Apparatus for reporting stealing of automobiles includes a no-move detecting means, a transfer detecting sensor and a radio transmitter. The no-move setting means establishes no-move of an automobile. A transfer detecting sensor detects shift of a position of the automobile after the no-move setting. A radio transmitter reports an occurrence of stealing to a designated place when the transfer detecting sensor detects the shift of the position of the automobile. On an occurrence of stealing, this apparatus automatically reports the fact to the designated place.

Abstract: A security system of a construction machine of the present invention has a construction machine, a base station and a communication device. The construction machine comprises a data sending and receiving portion for sending first information, a storage portion for storing received information, and a control portion for controlling an operation of the construction machine. The base station receives the first information from the data sending and receiving portion of the construction machine and sends second information to the construction machine and manages the construction machine. It is configured so that the communication device is connected to the base station through a communication network and can send third information to the construction machine through the base station.

  • Publication number: 20030201875
Abstract: A burglarproof and event-recording apparatus for a vehicle comprises at least one camera arranged on the vehicle to surveil an environmental image for the vehicle and store the image to an image-storing and logic-controlling unit until an alarm flag is set to 1 by the image-storing and logic-controlling unit. The apparatus will raise alarm and set the alarm flag to 1 once the vehicle is intruded. At this time, the image is stored in a currently-used memory block of the image-storing and logic-controlling unit and the intrusion condition is formed to the vehicle owner.
