  • Patent number: 11968532
Abstract: Embodiments of the present application disclose a method and a device for connecting to a wireless access point. A specific implementation of the method includes: receiving a request for connecting to a wireless access point sent by a terminal device; sending an address of a router to the terminal device, in which the router is a node in a blockchain, and the address of the router is an address of the node to which the router in the blockchain belongs; receiving verification information sent by the terminal device to the address of the router; generating a verification result based on the verification information; and if the verification result indicates that verification is successful, granting the terminal device a permission to connect to the wireless access point. The implementation provides a new method for connecting to a wireless access point, thereby enriching methods for connecting to a wireless access point.

  • Patent number: 11341828
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a wireless identification tag with varying identity, and system and methods for use thereof. In one implementation, the tag may include at least one transmitter configured to transmit a tag ID. The tag may also include at least one circuit. The at least one circuit may be configured to receive a first trigger at a first time and generate in a quasi-random manner a first decipherable ID uniquely identifying the tag, and cause the at least one transmitter to transmit the first decipherable ID. The at least one circuit may also be configured to receive a second trigger at a second time and generate in a quasi-random manner a second decipherable ID different from the first decipherable ID and uniquely identifying the tag, and cause the at least one transmitter to transmit the second decipherable ID.

  • Patent number: 11295592
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a wireless identification tag with varying ID transmission timing, and system and methods for use thereof. In one implementation, the tag may include at least one transmitter and an energy storage component electrically connected to the at least one transmitter. The energy storage component may be configured to collect and store ambient energy and to power transmission of the at least one transmitter. The tag may also include at least one circuit. The at least one circuit may be configured to cause the at least one transmitter to transmit a sequence of identification signals in non-uniform intervals such that times between identification signal transmissions of three consecutive transmissions vary.

  • Patent number: 10346231
Abstract: A watchdog timer circuit for use in microcomputer monitor systems is disclosed. This circuit includes a timer circuit responsive to receipt of a count clock signal for counting it up, and a timer control circuit which loads an externally inputted data signal (stn) in sync with a timer refresh instruction (prun) and holds therein a sequentially loaded latest multi-bit data signal as reference data. When the reference data agrees with a predefined pattern and simultaneously another prespecified condition is met, the timer control circuit interrupts the clock signal counting operation of the timer circuit. During interruption of the counting operation, when the reference data does not agree with the predefined pattern or when the above-stated another prespecified condition becomes unsatisfied, the control circuit allows the timer circuit to restart the clock signal counting operation.

  • Patent number: 10142110
Abstract: A computer program for enabling secured, transparent encryption and decryption provides a user interface that allows a user to drag and drop files into and out of a secure repository and automatically encrypts files transferred into the repository and automatically decrypts files transferred out of the repository. The user can transfer file folders into the repository, wherein the program encrypts all of the files within the folder and retains the original file/folder structure, such that individual files can be moved within the repository, moved out of the repository, and opened or executed directly from the repository. The program requires the user to submit biometric data and grants access to the secure repository only if the biometric data is authenticated. The program generates an encryption key based at least in part on biometric data received from the user. Additionally, the program destroys the key after termination of each encryption/decryption session.

  • Patent number: 9934117
Abstract: A method includes transmitting a first value to a first slave device via a communication bus, where the first value is within a first range of values associated with the first slave device. The method also includes receiving a second value via the communication bus and detecting a fault when the second value is not within the first range of values associated with the first slave device. Detecting the fault could include detecting a decoder fault when the second value is within a second range of values associated with a second slave device. The method may further include detecting a fault when the second value is within the first range of values associated with the first slave device but does not equal the first value or detecting no fault when the second value equals the first value.

  • Patent number: 9729940
Abstract: There is provided a method of conveying information using a set of first identifiers, the set of first identifiers having a first number, M, of possible values for representing a first number, M, of first information items. The method comprises the steps of partitioning the set of first identifiers into a second number, N, of sub-partitions, wherein the second number, N, of sub-partitions represents the number of possible values required to represent a set of second information items. A sub-partition is used to transmit a second information item while also transmitting a first information item using a first identifier.
