  • Patent number: 11182932
Abstract: A method for generating a color gradient includes receiving an input indicating a smoothness of the color gradient and detecting a gradient path defined from an image. The method also includes identifying a set of colors from the gradient path. The method includes detecting a set of color pivots associated with the set of colors. A number of the color pivots in the set of color pivots is based on the input indicating the smoothness of the color gradient. The method includes generating a set of individual color gradients along the gradient path including a color gradient between a first pair of colors located at a first pair of the color pivots and a different color gradient between a second pair of colors located at a second pair of the color pivots. Additionally, the method includes generating the color gradient of the image from the set of individual color gradients.

The point objects serve as control points for interpolating curve segments. Further, a start parameter indicative of a start point within a starting curve segment of the curve segments at which display of the stroke object starts, and an end parameter indicative of an end point within an ending curve segment of at which display of the stroke object ends, are generated for the stroke object. • Patent number: 11079932
Abstract: Determining the position of a pop-up on a touch screen. Locations of user interactions on a touch screen are determined. Times are also determined for each of the user interactions. A hot spot on the touch screen is defined on the touch screen based on a number of user interactions occurring in proximity of one another during a particular period of time. In one or more embodiments, the particular time period corresponds with a most recent period of time. At least a portion of a pop-up is then displayed within the hot spot on the touch screen for user interaction.

Abstract: Disclosed is an exemplary method of providing a visual summarization of a plurality of time-stamped annotated images. The method includes receiving the plurality of time-stamped annotated images. The plurality of time-stamped annotated images includes a plurality of object-based annotations. The method includes receiving an object of interest selection (OOI selection) corresponding to at least a first object-based annotation of the plurality of object-based annotations, thereby designating an object of interest (OOI). The method includes filtering the plurality of time-stamped annotated images, based at least in part on the OOI selection, to a subset of the plurality of time-stamped annotated images, thereby creating an object of interest image group (OOI image group). The method includes generating a visual timeline for concurrently displaying the OOI image group.

  • Patent number: 11069027
Abstract: In implementations of precise glyph transformations as editable text, a computing device implements a transformation system to generate bounding boxes for a first glyph and a second glyph of multiple glyphs. The bounding boxes are concatenated as a multiple glyph bounding box for the multiple glyphs. The transformation system receives a user input defining a transformation of the multiple glyph bounding box relative to an object, and the system maps the transformation of the multiple glyph bounding box to the bounding boxes for the first glyph and the second glyph. The multiple glyphs are rendered in a user interface as the editable text having the transformation based on the mapping.

  • Patent number: 11069147
Abstract: Provided are mechanisms and processes for inserting a visual element into a multi-view digital media representation (MVIDMR). In one example, a process includes analyzing an MVIDMR to determine if there is an appropriate location to insert a visual element. Once a location is found, the type of visual element appropriate for the location is determined, where the type of visual element includes either a three-dimensional object to be inserted in the MVIDMR or a two-dimensional image to be inserted as or projected onto a background or object in the MVIDMR. A visual element that is appropriate for the location is then retrieved and inserted into the MVIDMR, such that the visual element is integrated into the MVIDMR and navigable by a user.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving eyewear parameters to form received eyewear parameters. A current computer model of eyewear is modified in accordance with an eyewear parameter that necessitates alteration of the current computer model to form a new computer model of the eyewear. The new computer model of the eyewear includes an altered hierarchical set of interconnected elements defining a rig and an altered surface representation around the rig defining a mesh that is manifold. The modifying operation is repeated for each eyewear parameter of the received eyewear parameters that necessitates alteration of the new computer model to form an output manifold mesh. Bespoke eyewear is manufactured from the output manifold mesh.

  • Patent number: 11055891
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for providing real-time motion styling in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and/or mixed reality (MR) environments. In aspects, input data corresponding to user interaction with a VR, an AR, or an MR environment may be received. The input data may be featurized to generate a feature set. The feature set may be compared to a set of stored motion data comprising motion capture data representing one or more motion styles for executing an action or activity. Based on the comparison, the feature set may be matched to feature data for one or more motions styles in the stored motion data. The one or more motions styles may then be executed by a virtual avatar or a virtual object in the VR/AR/MR environment.

  • Patent number: 11056077
Abstract: The approach for automatically adjusting display setting for a user that uses corrective lens or not is disclosed. The approach determines whether a user is wearing corrective visual lens. If the user is not wearing correct visual lens, then the system measures the ocular features of the user via sensors. The system then transmits data associated with the ocular features to a deep learning server wherein the deep learning server analyzes the data. The server generates a customized display setting based on the analyzed data. The system receives the display setting from the deep learning server and automatically adjusts the display setting on a device of the user based on the received display setting.

  • Patent number: 11043022
Abstract: Using various embodiments, methods and systems to determine viewability metrics of a multidimensional object in a multidimensional digital environment are described. In one embodiment, a system is configured to render a viewport of the multidimensional digital environment displayed on the graphical user interface. The viewport includes the object of interest. The object of interest includes a multidimensional digital object. The object of interest is rendered with a first set of colors. The system is further configured to determine a first number of pixels representing a total number of pixels in the first set of colors and to determine a second number of pixels in the viewport representing a total number of pixels of the viewport. Thereafter, a ratio is calculated by dividing the first number of pixels by the second number of pixels. The metric of viewability is then derived by the calculated ratio.

  • Patent number: 11024060
Abstract: Techniques are provided for converting a self-portrait image into a neutral-pose portrait image, including receiving a self-portrait input image, which contains at least one person who is the subject of the self-portrait. A nearest pose search selects a target neutral-pose image that closely matches or approximates the pose of the upper torso region of the subject in the self-portrait input image. Coordinate-based inpainting maps pixels from the upper torso region in the self-portrait input image to corresponding regions in the selected target neutral-pose image to produce a coarse result image. A neutral-pose composition refines the coarse result image by synthesizing details in the body region of the subject (which in some cases includes the subject's head, arms, and torso), and inpainting pixels into missing portions of the background. The refined image is composited with the original self-portrait input image to produce a neutral-pose result image.
