The insulating sheet is interposed between the bottom plate and the intermediate portion of the cable. The housing includes a recess formed in the bottom plate. The insulating sheet covers an opening of the recess, the upper surface thereof is in contact with the intermediate portion of the cable and a space is formed between the lower surface of the insulating sheet and the bottom surface of the recess.

As a result, the interval between the LED head and the photoreceptor drum is set to the reference interval (A).
