  • Patent number: 10262693
Abstract: The systems and methods discussed herein relate to technology for enhancing media recordings of a live event based on a media feed corresponding to the live event. The media recordings may be media items that include audio and image data captured by a user device. The user device may be associated with a member of an audience that is experiencing the live event. The user device may generate the media item using one or more sensory input devices and may receive additional media data via a media feed. The media feed may include media data that corresponds to the live event and includes content that is similar to the media item recorded by the user device but may have been derived from a higher quality recording or include supplemental data. The media data may then be used to enhance the media item.

  • Patent number: 10178364
Abstract: An apparatus and related methods for enhancing low dynamic range and high dynamic range digital images. The process converts single digital images into a form that can be shown on traditional electronic and computer displays and paper prints through luminance mapping and tone mapping functions. These functions require the calculation of values for each pixel within the digital image. The values calculated include, but are not limited to, color, grey-level, and luminance. The present apparatus and method builds upon the tone mapping process by combining log-average luminance values of various sized neighborhood tiles with the global log-average luminance of the entire image.

Abstract: A system includes a portable non-destructive testing (NDT) device. The NDT device includes a processor configured to receive imaging data captured via a sensor of the NDT device, cause a display of the NDT device to display an image to be analyzed based on the imaging data, and cause the display to display a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI includes a first plurality of user-selectable objects. Each of the first plurality of user-selectable objects is configured to activate one or more monitoring functions of the NDT device. The processor is also configured to cause the display to display at least a first set of the first plurality of user-selectable objects. The first set of the first plurality of user-selectable objects is configured to substantially overlay the image. The first set of the first plurality of user-selectable objects is displayed based at least in part on an inspection state of the NDT device.

Abstract: A signal processing apparatus according to the present technology connects, when an output of a comparing unit that compares a signal read from a unit pixel with a reference voltage is fed back to a floating diffusion of the unit pixel, a signal line to a negative input of the comparing unit, the signal read from the unit pixel being transmitted through the signal line; connects, when auto-zero processing is performed, the signal line to a positive input of the comparing unit; and connects, when the output of the comparing unit is fed back to the floating diffusion of the unit pixel again, the signal line to the negative input of the comparing unit. The present technology is applicable to, for example, an image sensor and an electronic apparatus and suppresses the reduction in image quality of an image.

  • Patent number: 10080000
Abstract: There is provided an intercom system capable of reducing power consumption by stably performing wireless communication between a camera and a monitor. Monitor 200 checks whether or not a communication error occurs in image data received from camera 100, and checks whether or not there is a slot as a moving destination in an empty state in a case where the communication error occurs. In a case where there is no slot as the moving destination, monitor 200 controls the number of connected image calls by transmitting an image call disconnect request to camera 100. Accordingly, intercom system 10 varies image quality (a frame rate, a compression ratio, or an image size) depending on a radio wave status.
