    Abstract: An electrical track lighting system. The track lighting system includes a flexible track that includes a foamed adhesive strip on the upper surface separating two conductor rails. The track is cut to length and secured to the desired surface by the adhesive strip. Light fixtures having spring clip members with electrical contact surfaces engage onto the upper surface conductor rails of the track. An elastomer body provides a resilient force to ensure the engagement of the spring clip members.

Electrical connectors interconnect the light with a source of electrical energy, which ideally is the lighting system of the taillights of a boat trailer.

The channel pieces are coupled together with coupling tabs. Slide mounts moveably fit within, and work with, channels within the channel pieces and are used to moveably secure ornamental light strings to the system when in use. A slide mount guide is used to urge the mounted light string from a storage channel piece to the display channel pieces.

The light string is easily disattached from the holders by spreading apart the adjacent turns long enough to lift away the light string.
