  • Patent number: 11895072
Abstract: Systems for intelligent sorting of time series data for improved contextual messaging are included herein. An intelligent sorting server may receive time series data comprising a plurality of chat messages. The intelligent sorting server may determine a first order of the plurality of chat messages based on a chronologic order. The intelligent sorting server may use one or more machine learning classifiers to identify candidates for reordering the chat messages. The intelligent sorting server may generate a second order of the chat messages based on the identified candidates for reordering. Accordingly, the intelligent sorting server may present, to a client device, a transcript of the chat messages associated with the second order and an indication that at least one chat message has been repositioned.

  • Patent number: 11818719
Abstract: Embodiments herein include a method in a user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink control information in time slots of a subframe over a radio channel to a radio base station. The uplink control information is comprised in a block of bits. The UE maps the block of bits to a sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE block spreads the sequence across Discrete Fourier Transform Spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFTS-OFDM) symbols. This is performed by applying a spreading sequence to the sequence of complex valued modulation symbols, to achieve a block spread sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE further transforms the block-spread sequence, per DFTS-OFDM symbol. This is performed by applying a matrix that depends on a DFTS-OFDM symbol index and/or slot index to the block-spread sequence. The UE also transmits the block spread sequence, as transformed, over the radio channel to the radio base station.

Abstract: A multi-processor includes a pool of processors and a common packet buffer memory. Bytes of packet data of a packet are stored in the packet buffer memory. Each of the processors has an intelligent packet data register file. One processor is tasked with processing the packet data, and its packet data register file caches a subset of the bytes. Some instructions when executed require that the packet data register file supply the processor execute stage with certain bytes of the packet data. The register file includes a set of slice portions, where each slice portion is responsible for different bytes of the overall packet data. Each slice portion independently handles stalling the processor and prefetching any bytes it is responsible for. The slice portions output their bytes in a shifted and masked fashion to that the overall register file output is properly presented to the execute stage.

Each processor has an intelligent packet data register file. One processor is tasked with processing the packet, and its packet data register file caches a subset of the bytes. The processor has instructions that configure the prefetching, that enable such prefetching, and that disable such prefetching in certain ways.

  • Patent number: 7924763
Abstract: A method and apparatus for rate matching is described. During operation of a transmitter, multiple data streams are received and individually interleaved with a permutation of a same length K?. A permutation (?p0) of a second stream is the same as a permutation (?sys) of a first stream and a permutation (?p1) of a third stream is different from the permutation of the first stream. Each element of ?p1 is derived from the corresponding element of ?sys. The plurality of interleaved streams are multiplexed to form a circular buffer. Finally, data is transmitted from the circular buffer.

  • Patent number: 7924886
Abstract: A system and processes create a transport stream carrying several encapsulated contents, watermarks, and other ancillary data. The transport stream is re-multiplexed while keeping synchronous and deterministic operation. Synchronous deterministic operation allow each derived transport stream to be broadcasted in Single Frequency Networks, as all re-multiplexers have the same signal at the input and selecting the same content generates exactly the same stream in multiple locations.

  • Patent number: 7912728
Abstract: An audio codec in a baseband processor may be utilized for mixing audio signals received at a plurality of data sampling rates. The mixed audio signals may be up sampled to a very large sampling rate, and then down sampled to a specified sampling rate that is compatible with a Bluetooth-enabled device by utilizing an interpolator in the audio codec. The down-sampled signals may be communicated to Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as Bluetooth headsets, or Bluetooth-enabled devices with a USB interface. The interpolator may be a linear interpolator for which the audio codec may enable generation of triggering and/or coefficient signals based on the specified output sampling rate. An interpolation coefficient may be generated based on a base value associated with the specified output sampling rate. The audio codec may enable selecting the specified output sampling rate from a plurality of rates.

  • Patent number: 7899089
Abstract: A system and method for processing of MPEG transport streams. Specifically, the system may receive a variable bit rate input transport stream with one or more programs. The variable bit rate transport stream is converted into a constant bit rate stream with compliant Program Clock References. Null packets are added to the transport stream at suitable locations to pad it to a constant bit rate. Program clock reference packets are re-stamped to ensure all timing requirements are met.

  • Patent number: 7852771
Abstract: Link-based source routing may be implemented using generic framing protocol (GFP) to enable GFP frames to contain a switching context that will allow them to be forwarded on a network without requiring state information to be distributed to interior network elements on the network. Source routes may be computed from network topography information obtained using OSPF or ISIS. An extension header type is added to the GFP frames to signal to the network elements that the GFP frame contains a link-based source route. The source route contains a vector of tunnel IDs and a pointer to the current hop, to enable the current tunnel ID to be determined. The tunnel IDs have local significance only, and hence state information is not required to be distributed on the network. A return route may be built by index substitution as the frame traverses the network.

  • Patent number: 7839900
Abstract: An architecture for a frequency hopped spread-spectrum transmitter-receiver in an advanced tactical data link packet switched network that ensures optimal Statistical Priority-based Media Access (SPMA) performance, enables more efficient packing of hop channels in a given allocated bandwidth and counteracts hostile jamming. The transmitter-receiver supports a scalable symbol rate mode that reduces the symbol rate in the time domain and decreases the bandwidth in the frequency domain, over a predetermined prior value. A transceiver according to the present architecture is able to statically or dynamically scale the symbol rate of transmissions, operate in burst mode and change the hop set. In one embodiment the transceiver is part of a Software Defined Radio (SDR).

  • Patent number: 7822127
Abstract: Techniques for minimizing signal loss in transit are described. Data signals lose their strengths while traveling across conductive passages such as cooper wire, cooper strip, Printed Circuit Board (PCB), etc. There are two major factors that affect the signal loss: the distance and the speed. To minimize signal loss while maintaining higher rate data signals for I/O, substantially lower rate data signals are used in transit between two interfaces over a signal path.
