Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for encoding/decoding images. The image-decoding method comprises the steps of: receiving a bit stream including information regarding an NAL unit type; and checking whether or not the NAL unit in the bit stream is a reference picture based on said information regarding an NAL unit type and decoding the NAL unit. The information regarding an NAL unit type indicates whether the NAL unit is a reference reading picture or not a reference reading picture.

Abstract: According to the disclosure of the present document, a syntax structure and a syntax element may be provided wherein the syntax structure and syntax element enable, on the basis of whether an NAL unit type mixed with a picture is allowed, the existence of signaling-related information of a reference picture list with respect to a slice having a specific NAL unit type in the picture.

Abstract: A display system includes: a host processor which outputs first image data and outputs scan frequency information and a partial scan enable signal, based on an image driving frequency; a display module controlled by the host processor; and an interface. The display module includes: a display driving circuit which controls a selection of pixel rows to which the data signals are supplied based on the scan frequency information and the partial scan enable signal; and a display panel which displays an image on selected pixel rows based on the data signals. In a video mode of the interface, the host processor divides and outputs the first image data through the interface during transmission periods, based on the image driving frequency, and suspends an output of the first image data through the interface during suspend periods.

Abstract: Method for providing a personalized content having a determined sequencing of media contents, comprising steps of: receiving, in a control channel, a control stream comprising temporal control information describing the content sequencing; receiving media streams comprising the media contents of the sequencing; and controlling a rendering of the personalized content by using said control information, wherein the sequencing comprising a first live program followed by a second live program, the method further comprises a step of detection of an overlap of the first and second live programs.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a storage unit to receive and store an image file, a processor to parse a media data field of the image file including one or more image data samples and to parse a media header field including an image type data field indicating whether each of the one or more image data samples is one of 2 dimensional (2D) image data and 3 dimensional (3D) stereoscopic image data to generate an image corresponding to one of a 2D image and a 3D stereoscopic image based on the image type data field of the image file, and a display unit to display the generated image according to the image type data field of the image file.
