Spring-jack Cut-off Patents (Class 379/316)
  • Patent number: 7463909
Abstract: The present invention includes a method, device, and database for providing communication addresses for communication devices. In one form, a method for providing a communication address for establishing communication with a communication device is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input character associated with a selectable communication address and determining a communication address reference based upon a communication criteria associated with the input character. The communication device may then display a communication address reference within a user interface in response to determining a communication address.

  • Patent number: 7209725
Abstract: A method and system for directly down-converting FM signals to demodulated baseband information signals that can be used to directly down-convert analog FM signals and digital FM signals to demodulated baseband information signals. In an embodiment, the method includes aliasing an FM signal at an aliasing rate substantially equal to the frequency of the FM signal or substantially equal to a sub-harmonic thereof; adjusting the aliasing rate in accordance with frequency changes on the FM signal to maintain the aliasing rate substantially equal to the frequency of the FM signal, and outputting a demodulated baseband information signal. The method optionally includes compensating for phase delays and/or other characteristics of the loop in order to maintain bandwidth and stability for the loop.

  • Patent number: 4861132
Abstract: A precision guide assembly (11) comprising a receptacle (13) having an at least part-cylindrical passage (19) with an axis (27), a guide pin (15) sized to be inserted into the passage (19) of the receptacle (13) and having an axis (31). The guide pin (15) has a part-spherical head (33) and an at least part-cylindrical stem (35) joined to the head by a neck (37). The stem (35) and head (33) have substantially the same diameter and a lesser diameter than the diameter of the passage (19) so that the guide pin (15) can be slid into the passage (19). The neck (37) has a cross-sectional dimension less than the diameter of the stem (35) and an inclined surface (39) which is inclined with respect to the axis (31) of the guide pin (15) so that the inclined surface (39) extends radially inwardly as it extends distally.
