Abstract: The invention relates to a disposable pouch having a function for storing, transporting, and serving food with both a spout and a zip lock like device, to promote expeditious storage and serving of food into and from the top section of the pouch.

Abstract: A collapsible structure has first and second flexible loop members, each loop member defining a closed loop and having a first side and an opposing second side, each loop member adapted to assume an expanded position and a collapsed position, with the two loop members overlapping each other at a first overlapping point along the first sides of the loop members, and at a second overlapping point along the second sides of the loop members. The loop members are adapted to assume a deployed position in which one loop member is disposed at an angle with respect to the other loop member at the overlapping points, so that the structure defines a top side, four vertical sides, and a bottom side when in the loop members are in the deployed position. The structure also includes a flexible wall extending across the four vertical sides and the bottom side to define an interior space.

Abstract: A liquid container cover is designed for a container which holds milk or other liquids and being stored in a refrigerator or other locations. Such cover, called “Milk Cover”, can trap dried milk flakes, small spills or drips, and other particles to keep them from landing on the refrigerator shelf or other shelf. The Milk Cover has cotton or foam material version with cow-pattern design to hold different sizes or shapes of containers.

Abstract: A battery charging kit for an automotive vehicle includes a charging cable, a mounting bracket attached to a structure within an interior of the vehicle, and a carry bag for containing the cable. The bag has first and second flexible/foldable side walls and stiffeners extend along opposite upper edges of the sidewalls to define an upper opening. Carry handles are attached to the stiffeners. The stiffeners includes engagement features removably attachable to the mounting bracket to retain the carry bag such that the side walls hang downwardly and the upper opening is open, the opening being sufficiently large to receive a battery charging cable. Multiple mounting brackets may be provided at different locations in the passenger compartment and/or cargo compartment and/or trunk so that the vehicle operator can select from among them.

Abstract: A remote cinching device 14 comprising a resiliency mechanism 15 and 16, a force-transferring device 17, and a cinching device 28, 30, 32 enhances luggage, totes, briefs, and other transport and/or storage devices. The resiliency mechanism biases the luggage in an open condition, while the cinching device, located remotely from the areas undergoing the highest levels of expansion force (the top and bottom ends of an upright luggage case, for example), allows effective, easy, and visually pleasing compression of the case once it has been closed. The cinch is carried by force-transferring structures 17, by which the act of cinching is made even more efficient.

Abstract: A refuse container holder for selective attachment to a cabinet includes a base support member having back, side, and front walls that define an interior area. The container holder also includes a clamp rotatably coupled to the support member and configured to removably couple the support member to the countertop. The container holder includes a closure member having a configuration that is complementary to a configuration of the base support member so as to be selectively inserted into the base support member interior area. A refuse bag having an open end is selectively sandwiched between the base support member and the closure member when the closure member is inserted into the base support member interior area.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a pouch includes a body that defines an interior space of the pouch in which items can be stored, an opening that provides access to the interior space, and a self-sealing closure associated with the opening that prevents that items from failing out of the pouch, the closure being adapted to enable a user to pass a hand through the closure and into the interior space and to automatically seal after the user withdraws the hand.

Abstract: A large capacity waste disposal bag includes loops attached to it. One set of loops may be used to raise and lower the bag during transportation. Another set of loops may be connected to adjacent loops to support and maintain the bag in an upright, open position. In another embodiment, a large capacity waste disposal bag includes pockets attached to it. When support members are inserted into the pockets the bag is supported and maintained in an upright, open position.

Abstract: The invention provides a modular and foldable recycling apparatus for home use. The apparatus contains multiple modules attached in series, which can be separated into individual modules. Each module is made of a foldable frame to hold a container, such as a bag, for the containment, separation and transport of recyclable materials. The apparatus can be folded like an accordion to allow for convenient storage.

Abstract: The packaging system forms a transportable container for bulk goods having stretch wrap that is spirally wrapped about a bottom support and bulk goods to define the transportable container. The stretch wrap contacts at least a portion of the bulk goods to squeeze and lock together the bulk goods. During filling, the bottom support of the transportable container lowers as the transportable container is formed to accommodate additional bulk goods. The stretch wrap is prestretched from a non-stretched state to a stretched state prior to disposing the wrap about a slip frame former in the stretched state. The wrap returns to its non-stretched state as it is disengaged from the slip frame former to squeeze and lock together the bulk goods disposed therein. The packaging system results in a transportable container that is optimally packed and shaped for the efficient filling of a truck for shipping.

Abstract: A bag made of water resistant paper or plastic for holding a “goopy” sandwich such as a hamburger, hot dog, etc while eating the same is fitted on the open end with a collar extending generally radially from the bag. The collar or drip plate is adapted to catch liquids, slurries, and small particles falling from the sandwich. The catchings are either retained on the collar or directed back into the bag where they either soak into the sandwich or run to the bottom of the bag. In either case, the drippings do not fall onto the diner, table, or floor.

Abstract: The Car Trash Bag is a waste receptacle for installation inside a car and on the back of passenger or driver car seat to allow all passengers to dump in their trash. It comprises three parts, a) Lower Frame which fixes by headrest and always is in place and holds trash bag, b) Upper Lid which is an open top lid and entangles trash bag and c) Disposable Trash Bag which is a recycled plastic grocery bag or any kind of small trash bag. When the trash bag becomes full of garbage, the Upper Lid will be raised by removing it from Lower Frame and trash bag gets out from underside and a new trash bag will be replaced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an insert for a carrier such as a bag or a box, and more particularly to an insert for a bag for carrying bottles, cups and the like. The insert is particularly, but not exclusively, for bags made of paper or the like that fold flat for storage and transportation and open out for use. The present invention aims to provide an insert for a bag that allows the user to maximise use of the whole bag, while still allowing for bottles, cups and the like to be supported.

Abstract: A urology drainage bag system has disposable clamps and/or bands that are disposed of along with the disposable urology drape. The drape, clamps, and band may comprise an integrated system for disposal as a unit. In some embodiments, the drape, clamps, and band are assembled together at the time of manufacture and sold as an integrated unit such that assembly of the drape onto the band by the end users at the point of use is not needed. Several plastic molded clamp embodiments are disclosed. Alternative methods and devices for supporting a flexible band and drainage bag relative to an OR table are also disclosed.

Abstract: A device for keeping lawn waste or other flexible refuse bags open while filling. The device is made of a resilient and flexible material so that it can be squeezed and easily inserted into the top opening of a refuse bag. The size of the device is proportional to the interior circumference of the opening of the bag so that the device expands when released securing itself within the opening of the bag. The shape of the device is that of a rectangular perimeter of a hyperbolic paraboloid or saddle, having segments that grip the interior corners of the bag when the device is released into position. Once the bag is filled with waste it can be squeezed again, allowing for the removal of the device from the bag and the preparing of the device for insertion into another bag.

Abstract: A pouch is formed out of two sheets of plastic heat sealed over most of the edge length. The pouch has an expanding bottom feature and has a pouring spout formed by raised impressions in the corresponding sheets of plastic that form matching embossments. When the pouch is squeezed, the embossments open further apart to form a larger fluid passage at the outlet. The outlet of the pouch is opposite the bottom of the pouch and in at least one embodiment has a region on both sides of the outlet that are kept free from heat sealing during manufacture. The outlet also has a frangible line of weakness for easy opening. The outlet passage has two sets of embossments that meet along a center line to more fully expand the central portion of the pouch.

Abstract: A device for receiving banknotes with a frame which provides a banknote opening, and has a banknote bag connected to the frame using a bag opening so that banknotes are introducible through the banknote opening and the bag opening into the banknote bag. The device has a sliding bolt. The frame has an upper frame and a lower frame being separable from each other, and the banknote opening extends through both frames when the upper frame is connected to the lower frame. The frame has a guide for inserting the sliding bolt which is designed so that in the inserted state, the sliding bolt is locked with the frame and completely covers the banknote opening of the two frames.

The sorting apparatus comprises a vertical back panel, a horizontal panel coupled to the vertical back panel, the horizontal panel comprising a plurality of openings. The sorting apparatus further comprises a plurality of bags configured to receive the items of different individuals, the plurality of bags configured to be attached to the horizontal panel at the openings, wherein each the of the plurality of openings has a corresponding bag, wherein each opening corresponds to a different individual.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a disposable bag which comprises a multilayer film for accommodating a fluid, and a device which comprises a support holder for the disposable bag according to the invention in which the disposable bag is arranged. The present invention also relates to a process for the production of the disposable bag.

Abstract: A collapsible rectilinear or cylindrical ice bucket for transporting, displaying and chilling a wine bottle or other beverage container is fabricated from a deformable, water-impermeable and polymeric material, and is dimensioned to receive the bottle and a sufficient quantity of crushed ice or ice cubes. The upper edges of the collapsible ice bucket have a double thickness of the material for retaining the opening in a substantially non-collapsed state during use, and is provided with a handle.

Abstract: Expandable bag assemblies and associated methods are disclosed herein. Certain aspects of the invention are directed toward an expandable bag assembly that includes a flexible bag with closed and open ends and collapsible sidewalls disposed between the ends. The assembly beneficially includes an integrated support structure provided with stiffeners and a mechanism for attachment to help hold a mouth of the bag in an open position while filling the bag. The assembly can be compressed for easy packaging and storage and be expanded into a self-supported, open position without memory folds. The assembly is also configured to retract during closure of the open end of the bag.

At least one substantially flexible member may be coupled transversally to a portion of each of the plurality of longitudinal members. Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable waste containment device that is rapidly deployable. The waste containment device allows containment of liquid or semi-liquid waste until permanently disposed. The present invention also provides a portable waste containment system wherein the waste containment device is enclosed within a package for storage and when pulled from the package the waste containment device is ready for use. Still further, the present invention provides a method of using the portable waste containment device of the present invention.

Abstract: A biodegradable lawn waste collection system is provided. The system generally includes a waste receiver, a shaping insert, and a handle. The waste receiver may comprise a mesh structure having a filling end and a sealing end. The mesh structure may be formed from a biodegradable polymer composition. The shaping insert is configured for removable reception within the filling end of the waste receiver. The shaping insert provides the waste receiver with rigidity and stability when filling the waste receiver with lawn waste. After the waste receiver has been filled with lawn waste, the shaping inert is removed and the filling end is secured, such as by tying a knot. The full waste receiver is then releasably attached to the handle, which enables the full waste receiver to be easily carried or dragged to a desired destination.

Abstract: A spill inhibitor for a container includes a spill inhibitor body configured to be releasably secured to or integral with a container. The spill inhibitor body defines an opening therethrough and has a plurality of compliant finger projections extending from the spill inhibitor body. The finger projections are arranged to impede movement of an item through the opening of the spill inhibitor body for controlling passage of the item through a mouth of the container.

Abstract: Expandable bag assemblies and associated methods are disclosed herein. The dust bag includes a soft bag body having an open end. The open end is coaxially fittable and connectable to a collection tube of the dust collector. The retainer member is disposed around a periphery of the open end of the dust bag for fixing the dust bag with the collection tube. The dust bag further includes a connection section positioned at the open end for connecting with the retainer member, whereby the open end is looped with and connected with the retainer member.

Abstract: A system and method of packaging a bulk material is provided for scooping a quantity of the bulk material into a standard equipment bucket of an excavating or front loader equipment, covering the bucket with a single soft-sided container such that a bottom of the single soft-sided container spans and covers a mouth of the bucket, securing the single soft-sided container over the bucket to close the mouth of the bucket, and inverting the bucket such that the mouth of the bucket is oriented substantially downward to transfer the quantity of the bulk material from the bucket directly into the single soft-sided container.

Abstract: A lawn refuse bag is provided that includes a tubular container having a first side surface, a second side surface, a third side surface, a fourth side surface, and a fifth side surface. The tubular container further includes an open end for receiving compressible contents therein. A plurality of perforations are selectively disposed on at least one side surface of the tubular container adapted to discharge air from the tubular container away from a user compressing the contents therein.

Abstract: A system and method for free-standing hermetic storage of bulk, boxed or bagged commodities including the use of a thin, lightweight ultra low permeability loadable sleeve, and optionally a UV-, wind- and rodent-resistant cover on top of the sleeve. For bagged or boxed commodities, loading may be done manually or with a forklift while the sleeve and/or cover is held open. For bulk commodities, the cover is used to prevent tearing of the sleeve during loading and as such, is placed over the sleeve prior to loading of the sleeve via a pneumatic grain conveyor or similar device.

A rim supports the mouth of the bag, while a handle and forearm brace permit a user to hold it easily and without fatigue. The handle and brace are placed at the edge of the rim so as to leave the opening unobstructed and maximize versatility for both trash and leaf pickup.

Abstract: People purchase decorative wastebaskets to match the color and design scheme of the room where the wastebasket will be used. For cleanness and comfort of waste disposal, people line the wastebasket with a waste bag. Unfortunately, part of the outside decorative surface of the wastebasket is hidden by the waste bag, thus, defeating the purpose of having a decorative wastebasket. The present invention solves this problem by providing a solution for properly lining the wastebasket but not hiding it.

Abstract: An apparatus that presents an “easy-fill” mechanism for plastic bags (e.g., zip-lock bags) and the like is provided. The apparatus employs two levers equipped with handles on one end and attachment mechanisms or clips on the other. The levers are configured to open a bag when the handle portions of the levers are closed. Similarly, the apparatus is configured to close the bag when the handle portions are separated.

Abstract: An article to aid loading a leaf bag is disclosed. The article has a tubular body member configured and arranged to fold substantially flat and insert into a leaf bag and a funnel structure extending from the tubular body member, which is also configured and arranged to fold substantially flat. The funnel structure comprises at least one panel connected to at least one flexible insert to form a substantially cone-shaped funnel that empties into the tubular body member.

Abstract: A flat rectangular, reusable piece of cardboard having dimensions of (32?×36?×¼?) with two (2) vertical perforations, and two (2) stamped out areas for hand holds. This flat, rectangular, reusable piece of cardboard may be shaped to fit the inner dimensions of a standard (34?×16?×12?) lawn and garden refuse bag for the purpose of providing said lawn and garden refuse bag with sufficient support to hold it in the fully open and usable position, preventing lawn and garden refuse bag from collapsing during use.

Abstract: A stiffening system and method for a foldable bag. A foldable bag is disclosed having: one or more fold lines; a first adjacent section and a second adjacent section separated by a fold line; and a stiffener having a first portion pre-fastened to the first adjacent section and a second portion that includes a mechanism for manual attachment to the second adjacent section for maintaining the foldable bag in an open position.

Abstract: A collapsible, hands-free emesis container is provided with improved portability, deployment and emesis reception characteristics. The container includes a receptacle for receiving emesis, a chute for directing emesis and a retainer to maintain desired positioning of the container about a support structure, which may be the neck of an impaired patient. The container may be provided in a package having size characteristics for easy storage and access by emergency medical service personnel.

Abstract: The “go” bag is a bag, made with recyclable material that has a pair of reinforced apertures on each side of the top rear side of the bag that are 3 inches apart vertically and then 9½ inches apart horizontally along the bag's top back side. The hooks allow the bag to latch and hang from various objects, such as, gates, fences, or doors. The dimensions of the bag allow for it to naturally hang open and allow for convenient disposal or storage of various items. Within the seam along the opening of the bag, lies a drawstring that makes the bag easy to bind, transport and/or dispose of its contents. There is also a zip-lock seal affixed along the topmost seam of the bag to prevent bugs and pests from disturbing the bag's contents. Yet the bag is pliable and small enough to retain it portability.
