  • Patent number: 11649886
Abstract: An outer-ring lubrication groove pattern formed in an outer-race raceway surface and an inner-race lubrication groove pattern formed in an inner-race raceway surface of a wave generator bearing of a strain wave gearing device are patterns in which linear lubrication grooves having very small widths and depths of several micrometers or less are arranged at fine pitches of several micrometers or less. The inner-race lubrication groove pattern includes a second groove pattern formed in long-axis-side inner-race raceway surface portions to hold the lubricant, and a first groove pattern formed in short-axis-side inner-race raceway surface portions to hold the lubricant and guide the lubricant to the second groove pattern. This configuration improves the contact state between balls and the inner-race and outer-race raceway surfaces of the wave generator bearing, thus reducing the coefficient of friction therebetween.

  • Patent number: 8353420
Abstract: A horizontal hinged closure with a large diameter track ring attached directly to the rear of a female threaded head. The threaded female head is designed to removably attach to a male threaded structure. A bearing ring with cam followers that engage the track ring to allow the threaded head to be rotated relative to the male threaded structure to attach and remove the threaded head there from. The bearing ring is attached to a hinge arm that allows the removed threaded head to be moved away from the male threaded structure and then rotated about a vertical axis. Direct attachment of the large diameter track ring to the rear of the threaded head moves the center of gravity forward, resulting in the threaded head remaining essentially vertical when it is removed from the male threaded structure and thereby making it easier to reattach to the male threaded structure.

A shaft (30) solidly attached to a turning element (36) extending on a second side of the geometrical plane of reference, passes through the body and is fixed to the drum by linking means (40), which extend radially between the shaft and the drum, and are tangential to a geometrical plane (62) which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation (26) and is located at a greater distance from the transversal plane of reference than the bearing races.

  • Patent number: 6644859
Abstract: The invention relates to a supporting roller set for tiltable, axially movable and rotatable support for a rotary drum which can be driven in rotation. It comprises two supporting rollers which lie symmetrically on both sides of a vertical longitudinal central plane of the rotary drum and are each mounted in two rotary bearings which are fixed on bedplate which is tiltably supported on a static foundation. In order to be able to achieve an optimal self-adjustment with easy action of each supporting roller, each bedplate is supported by way of two articulated bearings disposed at a transverse spacing from one another on the foundation, of which the inner articulated bearing is constructed in the form of a ball-and-socket bearing, whilst the outer articulated bearing forms a movable bearing and is supported on the foundation so as to be slidably movable about the central point of the ball of the inner articulated bearing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bearing for an open-end spinning rotor. The latter is driven at its rotor shaft by means of a tangential belt in a predetermined direction and is supported in a nip which is formed by at least two bearing disks capable of being driven by the rotor shaft. A bearing disk (at least one) leads in relation to the drive direction of the tangential belt rotating into the nip, and another bearing disk (at least one) trails in relation to the drive direction of the tangential belt rotating out of the nip. The axis of the bearing disk (at least one) rotating into the nip is at a specified distance from the plane which goes through the rotor shafts of the spinning rotors of several adjoining open-end spinning devices. This distance is being smaller than the distance between the axis of the bearing disk (at least one) rotating out of the nip and the rotor shaft plane.
