  • Patent number: 11443823
Abstract: Testability of memory on integrated circuits is improved by connecting storage elements like latches in memory to scan chains and configuring memory for scan dump. The use of latches and similar compact storage elements to form scannable memory can extend the testability of high-density memory circuits on complex integrated circuits operable at high clock speeds. A scannable memory architecture includes an input buffer with active low buffer latches, and an array of active high storage latches, operated in coordination to enable incorporation of the memory into scan chains for ATPG/TT and scan dump testing modes.

  • Patent number: 10945047
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for selective playback of portions of audio at normal speed during a fast-forward operation. Upon receiving a command to perform a fast-forward operation, a current playback position is identified, as well as a plurality of portions of audio of the content item that will be subject to the fast-forward operation. A subset of the audio portions that will be subject to the fast-forward operation are selected. The fast-forward operation is initiated, and video of the content item is played back at the increased speed while the selected portions of audio of the content item are played back at normal speed.

  • Patent number: 10348438
Abstract: Embodiments can provide spurs removal in a pilot-tone spread signal. For achieving this, at least one peak in the pilot-tone spread signal may be found. A predetermined small range of the spectra power around the at least one peak may be removed. In some situations, the removal of the spurs in the pilot-tone spread signal may result in inadvertent removal of a normal part of the pilot-tone spread signal. For addressing this, a power ratio between the spectrum of the pilot-tone spread signal before the removal and after the removal can be calculated. For accounting for the power loss due to the spurs removal, this power ratio can be applied to the pilot-tone spread signal after the removal to obtain a corrected pilot-tone spread signal.

  • Patent number: 8611691
Abstract: A method for mitigating image distortions induced by optical wave propagation through a random media (e.g., atmospheric turbulence or volume of water) from a stream of video data provided by a single shortexposure image sensor is described. The method is based on the two following sequential steps: (1) enhancement of the raw video stream and (2) fusion of the enhanced stream using the lucky region fusion (LRF) technique. The first step enhances features of the raw image stream the LRF method success is based on and especially mitigates the effect of low light level, aerosol pollution, dust, haze, and other deteriorating factors. The second step, fusion of the enhanced stream, is realized by sequentially merging image regions with highest quality within a temporal buffer into a single image before sliding the temporal window forward. The process is continuously repeated in order to generate a stream of fused images.

  • Patent number: 8184705
Abstract: A method and apparatus for filtering video data. First and second frames of the video data are stored. Motion adapted spatio-temporal filter (MASTF) pixel values of the second frame are calculated using pixel values of the first and second frames. The second frame is compared to the first frame to estimate motion vectors (MVs) for the second frame. Pixel MV error level indicators for the second frame are determined using the pixel values of the first and second frames and the MVs of pixels in the second frame. Motion compensated temporal filter (MCTF) pixel values of the second frame are calculated using the pixel values of the first and second frames and the MVs of pixels in the second frame. For each pixel in the second frame, a filtered pixel value is calculated using its MASTF and MCTF pixel values and its pixel MV error level indicator.
