    Abstract: In a urine cartridge or wastewater trap, equalized pressures and increased flow rate between its inlet and outlet compartments increases the life of the cartridge. The pressure equalizing is effected by placement of a separator between the two compartments to provide them with substantially equal volumes. The increased flow rate is created by a uniquely configured baffle positioned adjacent a pan at the bottom of the cartridge. The baffle configuration is shaped to provide a constriction that increases the flow velocity of the urine so that the fluid flow effects a channel along the bottom pan and through any solids deposited on the bottom pan. A diverter may be placed above the centrally located entry to the inlet compartment to create a circuitous path for preventing a disturbing impingement of the urine onto the sealant contained in the inlet compartment.

A tarp portion that aesthetically obstructs the ingress assumes a generally scalloped shape to optimize the water distribution along the urinal's rear and side walls.     Abstract: Splatter-free urinal device and methods prevent urine splatters around a commode. The splatters occur during urinating standing. The device makes toilet cleaning easier, quicker and cheaper. The device is a water-flushable inverted bio-degradable funnel with tails at top smaller end, acts as handles. The funnel has wet strength and water repellency but disintegrates in drains. The funnel is part of a nested stack of the funnels. In manual method, a user removes a funnel by its tails from supply and suspends it above the commode. Then the user urinates through the funnel, drops it into the commode after use, and flushes the commode. In power-driven method, upon activation, a power-driven arm removes a funnel and suspends it above the commode. The user urinates through the funnel into the commode. Upon second activation, the funnel falls into the commode and the arm returns to its stored position, maintaining the commode unobstructed.

It comprises a catheter-type receiver which attaches to plumbing thereby functioning as a urinal to receive urine from a user and directing it through the hose to a retention container. It is envisioned that the retention container would be emptied into a sanitary collection station or normal restroom when feasible. The urinal can be cleaned periodically using a provided sanitation kit with a flushing bulb and liquid cleanser that would be flushed through the system cleaning the valves, hoses, and container.
