The vanity includes a housing dimensioned to be recessed between two adjacent framing members in the wall and the housing is attached to the framing members by fasteners. The housing includes an open front forming a cavity dimensioned to contain bathing products. Two mirrored doors are slidably mounted to the housing which cover the housing front when closed and provide access to the bathing products when opened.

Abstract: A system for controlling water flow through a shower head includes a shower mat made of resilient material having a transmitter, an electrical power supply, and a switch embedded and hermetically sealed therein. The switch, when activated by a bather, sends a power pulse provided by the power supply to the transmitter, which transmits a control signal in response to each received power pulse. Separate from the shower mat, the system also includes a low-voltage DC power source, a receiver powered by the power source, and control logic which alternately activates and deactivates a driver transistor of a solenoid control circuit in response to the receipt of control signals received by the receiver from the transmitter. A solenoid-controlled valve in line with water flow to the shower head has a control solenoid with an input that is coupled to the low-voltage power source through the driver transistor.

Abstract: A slide rail has a mounting shaft and a sliding mount. The sliding mount is movably mounted around the mounting shaft and has a clamp, a handle, a clamp jaw, a holding bracket and a spring. The clamp is mounted around the mounting shaft. The handle is rotatably connected to the clamp and has a lock bar and a grip. The clamp jaw is mounted around and abuts the mounting shaft in the clamp and has a convex surface. The holding bracket is connected to the clamp to hold a showerhead, a soap dish or the like and has a positioning ring. The spring is mounted in the clamp between the clamp jaw and the positioning ring to push the convex surface of the clamp jaw to engage an engaging recess of the lock bar.

The initially cooled water is routed by a series of pipes and timed valves into a water reservoir assembly (19), such as a bellows (20), where the water is stored for later use. The cooled water from the bellows (20) is timely released and mixed with flow of cold water from a cold water source (126). The mixed cold water is further mixed with the now hot water from the hot water source (124) before the mixed hot and cold water is manually regulated and applied through a shower head (122).

The apparatus comprises a housing member engageable with a shower wall and having a predetermined shape and formed of a first predetermined material. A retractable cord is disposed within and secured on a first end thereof to the housing member, the retractable cord having a suction cup disposed on a second end of such cord for adherence to an opposite shower wall for preventing such shower curtain from moving inward and touching such bather, such retractable cord being formed of a second predetermined material, and there is a second suction cup disposed on a first end of the housing member for attaching such housing member to such shower wall.

Abstract: A system for accurately detecting the presence of a person in a shower by combining presence detection technology, such as an infrared sensor in the showerhead, with a mechanical height adjustment of the showerhead, so that the optimal distance between the sensor and showering person can be maintained for persons of different heights. Alternative embodiments include an electronic control unit to provide power consumption management and safety features. When the electronic control unit is combined with presence detection to predict the identity of a showering person, personal services customized for the identified person are provided. An alternate embodiment teaches a process for intelligently conserving water by intelligently blocking water flow at appropriate times, based on predictable behavior of a contemplated showering person.

Abstract: Grab rail assemblies are disclosed for mounting on walls, such as the tiled walls of a showering area or a mud room. The assemblies are designed to aesthetically meld with the surrounding environment by having a front tile mounting panel. They may also be provided with a drainage system to avoid water collecting long term within the rail when the rail is used in a shower.

Abstract: The invention addresses the problem of water leaking through a roughly triangular shaped opening created between a shower curtain, a bathtub rim and an adjacent wall. It does so with a simple-to-use, one-piece device which forces the edge of the shower curtain into the point where rim and wall meet, thereby eliminating the opening. Since it is mounted on the bathtub rim, the device also prevents water from flowing along such rim towards the open side of the bathtub and onto the floor.

All panels are joined to one another by moveable hinges, to form, in combination, a device to contain and dispense toiletries, as well as, to hold and store all other sundry toiletries not stored within the dispensing units. The units or panels will be on hinges so that the invention may be folded into a rectangular box for transportation. The folded “box” will be attached while in transportation, or, folded manner, by any of several types of latches to prevent it from opening while in transport.

The display means must be able to provide sufficient lighting in shower conditions. In addition, the display means must be able to sustain capability in moist wet conditions.

While in a deployed, horizontal position, the bathtub tray allows a rigid support for objects over the water of the bath. The hair collection device includes a collection member being designed for being selectively coupled to a wall of the shower. At least one mounting member is coupled to the collection member. The mounting member is designed for selectively engaging the wall of the shower to secure the collection member to the wall.

Abstract: A bathing enclosure has a wall arrangement which supports one or more hanging accessories, such as a towel hook, soap dish and bottle rack. Multiple wall sections are mounted so that their top and bottom edges are spaced apart to create a lateral gap therebetween. The gap permits a hanger end of the accessories to fit up and over the upper edges of the wall sections. The accessories can be slid horizontally in the gap and either extend to the inside or outside of the enclosure. Preferably, adjacent wall sections overlap vertically and tilt backward toward the inside of the enclosure from top to bottom.

Abstract: It is proposed that a profiled section that, subsequent to its fabrication, has a channel that is fully enclosed on all sides be employed for holding hygienic articles. The channel is arranged on the rear of a front wall of the profiled section such that will be initially concealed from view. The channel borders on the front wall of the profiled section. Incorporating a slot into the front wall of the profiled section will open the channel over a certain portion of its length. A hygienic article may be held in place in the resultant undercut slot.

A plurality of exfoliating members are affixed to the spraying part at the predetermined positions via magnetic force or positioning holes and positioning rods. Each of these exfoliating members includes exfoliating beads of different size and hence may have a different level of abrasiveness. Also, these exfoliating members do not affect the water spraying function of the shower head. Hence, a user may use any of these exfoliating members to smoothen and rejuvenate his skin while taking a shower.

Abstract: An electronic shower temperature display device that connects directly to an existing shower arm and showerhead assembly comprising a sensor coupling unit, panel support bracket, and a display panel assembly. Microprocessor-based circuitry monitors both temperature and the presence or absence of water through the device and the showerhead. The device displays real-time shower temperature on a self-contained unit consisting of a position adjustable display panel. A programmable memory storage system is used for retrieving multi-user temperature settings, whereby provides an audible tone when the desired temperature is arrived at. A programmable temperature scorching setting provides protection from scorching by signaling an audible warning tone when the shower temperature has gone passed a preset temperature. The device displays true water temperature by monitoring temperature and water conductivity inside the sensor-coupling unit.

In the case of a tub and shower enclosure having a head piece the shelf is supported thereon by slots formed in the bottom of the bracket which engage the head piece. In the case of a tub and shower enclosure comprising a shower curtain and a shower curtain support rod, the shower curtain support rod and the rings which support the shower curtain therefrom extend through the slot formed in the bottoms of the brackets of the shelf.

Abstract: An emergency shower system for attachment to a water pipe located behind a wall and a valve mounted to the pipe. The system includes a frame mounted to the wall around the valve, a panel connected to the frame for covering an opening in the wall to expose the valve, the panel having an opening, a plate mounted to the panel to close the panel opening and a handle mounted to the plate. The system also includes a linkage pivotally connected to the plate and to the valve, such that vertical movement of the handle and plate are translated to rotational movement by the linkage so as to operate the valve. There are no openings apparent in the front of the shower system. The handle only moves vertically and at a constant distance of about one and a half inches from the wall. An eye/face wash station may be included with the shower. The eye/face wash station includes a pull down tray with two spray nozzles. The nozzles are connected to another valve which is opened by the rotation of the pull down tray.

Both versions includes a slidable up and down carriage with reciprocating belt for soaping and showering bathers back, a chair with coil under the seat for washing bottom parts of the body, a hand shower, and an appliance for washing the feet. For users of wheelchair the chair is designed for sliding with the bather from exterior of the bathtub to the interior of the bathtub. In version for elderly, infirm people the chair seat is fixed in position over the longitudinal lip of the bathtub to let the user to sit down on this chair as well as he sat on a standard chair or toilet. The users back in this case will be in area of the bathtub, while the feet will be out and the water, which coming out will be gathered by curtain in folding tray and pumped back in the bathtub.

Abstract: A water flushing unit and a method of making such comprising a cover plate that is to be mountingly installed to replace the original equipment cover plate of a shower valve. The modified cover plate has a drain conduit which includes an on/off valve. The on/off valve is in turn connected to a flexible tube. Flushing water from the shower valve is to be confined and directed through the drain pipe and, with the on/off valve in an open position, is caused to flow through the drain tube.

A user is able to control the output water temperature from each of the shower heads or water sources as well as the individual water pressure from each of the shower heads or water sources. In the preferred exemplary embodiment, the housing of containing the electrical mechanical elements of the system is dimensioned such that the housing will advantageously fit within the cavity of the typical wall.
