Abstract: A toothbrush with a system to replace the bristle head. The present invention patent application follows, for a toothbrush, aimed at oral hygiene, which through a male coupling formed by a tongue with claw, both incorporated in the bristle head, which will couple in the female cavity of the handle, so that with the bristle lifetime end due to its wear, the head can be removed and replaced, providing economy, as well as less environmental impact.

Abstract: An applicator device including at least one holding section, at least one working tip, and a neck section connecting the holding section and the working tip, the device also includes a base body formed at least partially from a first plastic component, the base body being at least partially overmolded by at least one second plastic component that is softer than the first plastic component. In the region of the working tip, the at least one second plastic component at least partially coats the base body, and the coating includes outwardly projecting, bristle-type cleaning elements.

In a preferred embodiment, the plate assembly has a substantially rectangular shape. The exterior face displays desired text, and/or letters, and/or symbols, and/or words, and/or logo designs, and/or artwork, and/or graphics. The first and second channels each have an exterior channel defined at the exterior face and an interior channel defined at the interior face. The at least one hole extends from the exterior channel to the interior channel.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a handle for a personal grooming device includes forming a substrate portion of a first material. The substrate portion has first and second walls forming a channel extending along a long axis of the substrate portion. An insert member is formed separate from the substrate portion and disposed within the channel. A grip portion of a second material is formed on the substrate portion. The second material substantially encases the insert member.

Abstract: A toothbrush has an integral identification system for distinguishing one (1) toothbrush from another. At the bottom of the toothbrush handle is a cylinder and rotating thumb wheel assembly. The cylinder has a plurality of indicia which are visible one (1) at a time through a window on the side of the brush handle. A user rotates the thumb wheel to display an individual indicium. Once selected, a locking pin mechanism prevents the cylinder from being accidentally turned. These features allow multiple users to distinguish their toothbrush from another's by verifying the displayed indicia. Alternative embodiments can be retrofit and/or replaced on a toothbrush handle.

Abstract: A souvenir toothbrush includes a head part of the toothbrush with bristles, a handle part made with clear or opaque thermoplastic material, a molded recess inside the handle for placement of an insert having text or an image on one or both sides, a clear or opaque window insert placed inside the recess on top of the insert and a soft spongy part of the toothbrush molded to the handle of the toothbrush for convenient gripping of the handle by a user. The insert has ribs around the perimeter to allow it to be centered within the pocket of the handle and leave a gap between the insert and the pocket to be filled with soft thermoplastic elastomer. The insert is also designed with a step on either side to allow more efficient manipulation of the insert during manufacturing. A toothbrush holder, soap dish and other toiletry articles can also have a similar insert design.

A display card is sized to be inserted into the slot and is removably retained within the slot. Adhesive, or a friction fit, is preferably used to removably attach the display card to the object. The display card is sized to be frictionally retained in the slot by the protuberance. Abstract: This invention is concerned with an improvement of a tooth brush for keeping users' decayed teeth and gingival portion in a hygeine and healthy condition comprising a grip portion of a tooth brush shank to be held between their thumb and first finger with respect to their lower jaw and upper jaw, which shank being formed intermediate thereof in an opposedly inclined shape so as to enable them to cleanly brush their tooth especially cased with gold and also whole gingival surface area by a finger massage operation. The invention further involves a construction wherein the grip portion of tooth brush shank is provided rearwardly with a projection which is adapted to press against the gingival portions thereby enabling users to perceive the seat of gingivitis at an earlier stage by feeling pain when the projection is applied to their gingival portion.

Abstract: At the handle of a bristle carrier or support of a toothbrush there is rotatably mounted disk-shaped indicator element. This indicator element contains a scale-like indicia or markings composed of data symbols, especially date symbols, which are distributed at an essentially equidistant spacing from one another about the circumference of the indicator element. Each data marking designates the month of a year. At the bristle carrier or support there is applied a second marking or indicia in the form of a mark which is located opposite the markings or indicia provided at the indicator element. By rotating the indicator element it is possible to align that data mark of the markings of the indicator element with the marker at the bristle carrier which is representative of the date when the toothbrush has started to be used or the contemplated date for possibly replacing such toothbrush. The indicator element can be subsequently arrested in its selected or set date indicating position.

The illustrated display card has a foldable tab extending into a hanger hole in the handle.

Abstract: An article such as a tote bag is provided with an identifying indicia assembly including a generally transparent pocket of closed construction except for a slotted opening formed at one side thereof for receipt of a thin generally transparent material strip. The pocket, or at least the outer face thereof, is also generally transparent so that individual letters may be adhesively secured to the front face of the strip and be visible through the pocket. The article to which the pocket is secured may thus be personalized. Such articles may include tote bags, purses, combs, and the like.
