Abstract: A tab system including a tab for attachment to a component, the tab having a display portion proximate to a first edge of the tab and a pair of attachment portions. Each attachment portion is located on a corner of the tab along a second edge opposite from the first edge. Each attachment portion includes curved or angled, generally parallel upper and lower edges, or, alternately each attachment portion includes a pair of generally parallel, spaced-apart outwardly-extending legs.

Abstract: License plates (10) and number plates of vehicles are frequently forged or used for altered or stolen vehicles. To prevent this, license plates (10) are known, with which a contactlessly readable identification means (19) is associated in a license plate surface (12). This identification means (19) contains relevant data of the vehicle to which the license plate (10) belongs. As the license plate surface (12) is provided, primarily for motor vehicle identification or as a surface for the lettering (15), with numbers and digits for identification purposes, only little space or limited space remains for a further identification means (19). The invention provides a license plate (10) for a vehicle having an identification means (19), in which the at least one identification means (19) is associated with the periphery (13) of the license plate (10) which surrounds the license plate surface (12).

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide an indicator integrated into an item. The indicator includes at least two separation edges. The first separation edge includes a first termination point and a second termination point. The second separation edge includes a third termination point and a fourth termination point. The indicator includes an aperture adjacent to the first and third termination points. The indicator includes a score adjacent to the second and fourth termination points. The indicator is separated from the item along the first and second separation edges using the aperture and folded over the score to an open position such that at least a portion of the indicator extends beyond a perimeter of the item and a void, contiguous with the aperture, exists between the first and second separation edges. The indicator is foldable over the score in an inward direction and an outward direction.

The attachment element can engage an attachment point of the personal linen. The personal linen can be a type of towel.

The strip also comprises a strip axis substantially parallel to at least one of the first edge and the second edge. The strip comprises a first strip face and a second strip face defined by the first edge and the second edge. The first strip face is opposite the second strip face. The strip also comprises indicia disposed on at least one of the first strip face and the second strip face. The indicia comprises at least one of a letter, a word, and a symbol. Abstract: The folder is formed from a single sheet, folded along a fold line to form opposing walls. Each wall, at its top, includes a retaining portion that folds over a metal or plastic channel rod and includes a series of horizontally-spaced holes. The holes extend vertically over the lower edge or a rib of the channel rod. Each channel rod extends laterally past the edge of the folder and includes notches or hook ends that engage a pair of rails. Each tab includes a clip portion that opens downward. The clip portion includes two vertically-oriented inner faces, one or both of which includes inward-facing dimples or protrusions that fit at least partially into the holes in the retaining portion. At least one optional protrusion may be locating, meaning that the top of the protrusion does not engage the channel rod when the tab is fully attached.

The present invention provides a managing method including a step of attaching a sheet including a plurality of memories to each surface of a plurality of materials, a step of dividing the plurality of materials with the sheet in accordance with data in the memory, a step of constructing a building by using the divided material in accordance with the data in the memory, and a step of checking the data on the constructed building, which is stored in the plurality of memories.

Abstract: A label sheet construction including a liner sheet and a facestock sheet releasably adhered to the liner sheet. A plurality of labels and fold lines are die cut in the facestock sheet but not the liner sheet. The fold lines extend between the labels. After the sheet construction has been passed through a printer or copier and the desired indicia printed on the labels, the construction (an upper portion thereof) is bent back along one of the fold lines. This separates a(n) (upper) portion of the label from the underlying liner sheet. The user then easily grasps the upper portion and peels the label off of the liner sheet without tearing the label. When the label has a burst design, it is preferable to have a pair of fold lines for folding the liner sheet away from a portion of the label. The burst design preferably has alternating long and short points.

Abstract: A booklet with removable cards, together with a variety of systems, methods, and applications associated therewith. Embodiments can be incorporated into books, booklets, maps, catalogs, travel guides, schedules, and other printed information and materials. In one embodiment, the booklet comprises a travel guide having a plurality of information cards as pages. Each information card can provide information about a travel destination, language translation, cultural pointers, or other information. The cards are bound using a first ring fastener that can be opened by the reader so that one or more cards can be removed from the booklet, and carried in a wallet, on a second ring fastener, or as a second booklet, distinct from the main booklet.

Abstract: A file folder assembly or divider with a tab capable of being slid in two non-collinear directions. According to one embodiment, the file folder assembly includes a file folder and a sliding tab assembly. The sliding tab assembly includes a rail secured to the file folder proximate to a top edge of the file folder. The sliding tab assembly also includes a tab and a coupling member. The coupling member couples the tab to the rail in such a way as to permit the tab to be slid horizontally back and forth along the rail and/or to permit the tab to be slid vertically up and down relative to the rail.

Abstract: A machine-printable sheet material having pop-out index tabs. The index tabs have a printable region on a face of the sheet material opposite from the face from which the index tabs will pop-out. Each index tab is perforated along its perimeter except at a fold line. The index tab is rotatable at the fold line when it pops out. Each index tab has ears that are insertible into slits positioned from the edge of the sheet material such that when the ears are inserted into and engaged with the slits, the printable region extends from the edge of the sheet material to provide an index tab.

Abstract: A system for a 3-D tab for a folder, a retrofit for existing folders to have a 3-D tab and a method of making same is disclosed. The 3-D tab is created by an extension or attachable element which can be folded onto itself so that one edge surface is at an angle relative to the panels of the file folder allowing it to be read from the side. This also aids in allowing the tab to be fed through a printer.

Abstract: A vehicle identification card has the words SERVICE and READY on its front and rear sides, respectively, and includes a top segment having a horizontal band of static cling vinyl covered by a removable protective liner. Upon removal of the protective liner, the card can be adhered to the inside of a vehicle windshield with the word SERVICE visible from outside the vehicle and the top segment may be folded 180 degrees and adhered to the inside of the vehicle windshield with the word READY visible from outside the vehicle. The card is preferably a two section card with the before mentioned construction in an upper section and having a lower section which includes a removable key tag and a removable vehicle claim ticket. Service personnel can place the card on, and remove the card from, the inside of the vehicle windshield without bodily entering the vehicle.

The handle section extends from the first surface, through the slot and to the second surface of the base member such that movement of the handle section causes movement of the auxiliary member relative to the base member. The account identifier is included on one of the base member and the auxiliary member and links the transaction card to at least one of an account and a record.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward packs, pads, sheets or rolls of repositionable and reusable sticky notes that are pre-printed with one or more themes, thereby enabling a user of the invention to decorate a home, office, or other structure with the sticky notes to convey a message or expression. The sticky notes are complied in the traditional fashion, with each note having a portion near the top, side, center or bottom or all over if on a roll or sheet which has removable, semi-sticky glue which allows it to stick to a wall. Because the sticky notes are easily removed from the pack, and are pre-printed with the desired message, they are easily placed in large or small quantities on a mirror, wall, floor, ceiling, car, seat, file folder, scrapbook or other hard or soft surface in a decorative manner to send a bold message.

Abstract: A garment tag for organizing a clothing ensemble or wardrobe is disclosed. The garment tag may be associated with a garment or a garment hanger. The garment tag includes a pocket for storing garment accessories to be worn with the particular garment to which the tag is associated and an area for recording information about the garment, such as prior wear or cleaning. The garment tag may include a detachable portion, such as a coupon that may be used for a future garment cleaning.

It can be soft as an embroidered applique or hard as a metal token. The system can be used by families or other groups traveling on vacation or can be used by clubs, companies, hotels, or others. The sets of Linen ID Tags can share a common theme. Using this identification system ensures that the same person uses the same linens over and over again so that germs are not shared between persons.

The section (1) is now held in place by the counteracting forces from a base part (4) of the section (1) and the strip (3).

Abstract: A system for a 3-D tab for a folder, a retrofit for existing folders to have a 3-D tab and a method of making same is disclosed. The 3-D tab is created by an extension or attachable element which can be folded onto itself so that one edge surface is at an angle relative to the panels of the file folder allowing it to be read from the side. This also aids in allowing the tab to be fed through a printer.

Abstract: Index tabs having a mechanism for alignment with an edge of a mounting sheet, and methods for making and using the same. Embodiments exemplary of the alignment mechanism include various stopper constructions, pocket constructions, and the like. For example, a pocket can be formed within an index tab, such that the pocket contains an opening at the bottom for receiving an edge of a mounting sheet. The edge of the mounting sheet becomes aligned with the index tab when it fully engages the top of the pocket, which acts as a stopper. After alignment is achieved, the index tab is adhered to the mounting sheet. Various shapes and materials that are beneficial in the new tab constructions are also disclosed.

Abstract: A precisely measured removable cover for reusable beverage containers with releasable closures. The cover has a flexible sheet with a graphical display imprinted on one side and a cover fastener for removably fastening the cover to a container. The sheet is advantageously adapted to substantially cover the side walls of the container. The cover fastener has one or more releasable closures, and at least one of the releasable closures includes a fluked tab interlock locking tab and slot structure, wherein the fluked tab is on one end of the cover and the slot is proximate the opposite end of the cover and parallel to the fluked tab. A cam/slot paired closure is also disclosed.

Abstract: A stationery accessory system comprises a slidable tab including indicia of contents contained in or demarcated by the stationery accessory system and a sheet-like member including a rail; one of the slidable tab and the rail having a channel defined along a longitudinal aspect thereof, the channel defined by a wall of the rail, and the channel having a longitudinal opening narrower than a width interior to the channel measured parallel to the longitudinal opening; and the other of the slidable tab and the rail having an expanded edge, the expanded edge having a width greater than the longitudinal opening such that the channel and the expanded edge are slidably engageable.

Abstract: The reinforced file folder has a paper substrate which is reinforced with a breathable film having desirable properties with respect to wear. Preferably, the film is a cellulous based material adhered to the paper substrate in a manner that renders the product easily recycled. The cellulose film with a matte finished upper surface provides strong adhesion with file folder labels. The film preferably covers most of the outer surface of the front and back panels with the film applied either side of the labeling tab.

Abstract: Index tab holders are movably mounted on top portions of file folders or data separation sheets to locate the tab holders in selected lateral locations without removing the tab holders from the file folders. Linear rails associated with the top portions of the file folders cooperate with ribs on the tab holders to mount and laterally guide the tab holders on the file folders.
