Abstract: A divider assembly is shown and described herein. A divider assembly for dividing a stack of sheets, the divider assembly may include a sleeve having a first edge and an opposite second edge. A label display element inserted into the sleeve having at least one label indicia generally aligned along the first edge of the sleeve. At least one divider may include a first edge and an opposite second edge and a tab extending from the first edge. The tab may be extend beyond the first edge of the sleeve such that a user may view the at least one label indicia at a position adjacent and inward relative to the tabs.

Abstract: A menu system comprises a frame that receives interchangeable menu sections of a width such that sections of various width are combined to fill the frame space. The menu sections have a central section with upper and lower front channels that receive backing strips, copy strips, and digital price carriers. The central section may also have upper and lower rear channels, an upward extending light blocking projection, and a central aperture for back lighting. A clip may be used in the front or rear upper and lower channels to secure the menu sections to the frame.

Abstract: By providing a unique, pre-printed housing member within which a plurality of pre-printed display members are operatively interconnected for sequential display relative to each other in a unique, co-operative, continuously unfolding construction, a unique, hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest-generating multi-panel product is attained. In the present invention, a principal housing or first element is provided which incorporates a front panel and a rear panel mounted in juxtaposed, spaced relationship with each other, defining a first interior zone therebetween. Preferably, each panel comprises an eye-catching, visual display for generating consumer interest. In addition, a second element is mounted between the front panel and a rear panel of the first element in a manner which enables the second element to pivot outwardly from the first element from a first fully stowed position to a second fully displayed position.

Abstract: An informational card is disclosed incorporating a plurality of separable, functional articles that are removable from such card and capable of being applied to a separate article or articles, either independently of, or in conjunction with each other. The removable articles, such as a patch, embroidered emblem, heat transfer or the like, may be removed from the card and adhesively or heat applied to a separate article, with indicia that bears some relation to the information conveyed on the card. One of the removable articles has a cutout to accommodate the placement of a first removable article during the conjunctive application of a series of removable articles to an article separate and distinct from the informational card.

Abstract: An image positioning device includes surface elements having front and back sides and images on the front and/or the back sides. An end of a first surface element and a front side of a second surface element are turnably coupled along a first axis of rotation and an end of the second surface element and a front side of a third surface element are turnably coupled along a second axis of rotation. The first and second rotational axes are approximately parallel with one another. Successive flipping of the surface elements animates the images.

Abstract: A shadow box type transparency display device that has a reflective surface and at least one transparency panel having a visual image thereon spaced from and in superimposed relationship with at least a portion of the reflective surface such that the visual image is visible in the reflective surface thereby creating a unique view that includes the visual image and the reflected visual image.

Abstract: A suspension system for plastic sheet material comprising:a base sheet; anda suspension element attached to said base sheet, said element including:a first strip affixed to said base sheet and having an exposed adhesive release surface,a second strip hingedly mounted on said base sheet, proximate to said first sheet, and comprising an adhesive surface at least partially overlapping said adhesive release surface to enable said overlapping adhesive surface of said second strip to be easily lifted off said release surface of said first strip,whereby plastic sheet material inserted between said first and second strips, sticks to said adhesive surface of said second strip, thereby becoming hingedly attached to the base sheet and whereby, when said adhesive surface of said second strip is lifted off the plastic sheet material, the plastic sheet material is released from said base sheet and the adhesive surface of the second strip can be reused, since it overlaps the adhesive release surface of the first strip.

The holder has a plurality of frames (22) each configured to hold media (e.g. business cards, compact discs, computer diskettes) and pivotally mounted over a slidable striking member (44). The striking member contacts an abutment member (50) defined by each frame to flip the frame for viewing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile having a plurality of "pages" similar to a book and having designs thereon including beads which are water filled and contain various floating objects. The invention includes a plurality of "pages" which may be turned and fastened to change the design which is visible to a child to keep their interest. Suitable fastening elements are provided allowing the device to be removably fastened, for example, on the back of a vehicle seat facing a child sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle. Fastening elements are also provided between each page for removably holding the pages together so that pages open to view will remain open until manually changed.

Abstract: A plurality of elongated flexible strips are provided including opposite longitudinal margins. One set of corresponding margins of the strips are secured together in registered superposed relation and to the rear surface of a computer keyboard and an equal number of function key templates or indentity strips are secured to the other set of corresponding margins of flexible strips in a similar manner by adhesive coatings. The flexible strips support the function key templates or identity strips for swinging movement between superposed positions closely juxtaposed with the function keys of the computer keyboard and out of the way positions disposed behind the rear surface of the computer keyboard.

Abstract: A combination carrying/storage and display device for storing and displaying a number of furniture part transparencies in overlapping relation to form a pictorial presentation of a custom design. Five sets of parts such as arms, backs, seats, cushions and skirts are provided, each set having three to seven different styles of parts. Each individual transparency carries indicia which when combined in overlapping form displays the proper style number, dimensions, quantities of materials etc. for the furniture as designed.

Abstract: A telephone marketing device has a center and two outboard panels. The outboard panels have shingled pockets containing cards. The card titles are exposed at the edge of the shingled pockets. The subject matter relating to the titles on each card is concealed by the overlying pocket.

Abstract: A sorting system and leaf thereof for use im mailing and the like. The leaf is of a resilient plastic material of a generally rectangular shape and has a double hinge at one side to allow travel of the body of the leaf through approximately 180.degree.. The leaf is attached to a base at a spine adjacent the hinge. A plurality of leaves attached to the base forms the sorting system.

Abstract: Pocket card type visible index systems in which the pocket cards are protected against tearing at points of stress. This may be accomplished by bonding a reinforcing material to the card holding member of the pocket card, or, alternatively, by making that member of a laminated material. An additional feature includes protecting against tearing by providing round or radius corners at the ends of the card retaining apertures formed in the member.

The folder includes a back cover panel bounded by a right fold line joining it to an overlying contiguous base panel, a central slot formed near the fold line joining the back panel and the base panel, a distal segmented tab extending from the base panel away from the right fold line, a plurality of substantially parallel fold lines traversing and subdividing the tab into plural segments, an elongated drawstrip joined to the last tab segment most remote from the right fold line and extending between the back cover panel and the base panel through the central slot longitudinally movable from a retracted position substantially flattening the segmented tab to an extended position protruding through the central slot beyond the right fold line and curling the segmented tab under the base panel toward the slot.

Abstract: The album has an imperforate backing member. Attached to the backing member are a plurality of transverse, parallel rectilinear strips each coated at its underside with adhesive. The strips are each adhered to the top face of the backing member, each strip having a section inclined away from and free of the top face of the backing member. Adhered to each of the inclined sections of the strips is a bent-back section of a transverse release ribbon. The ribbons have extending tab portions which may be grasped by fingers of a user to pull the release ribbon off and away from the strip to uncover the adhesive-coated inclined section or portion of the strip. The ribbons and inclined portions of the strip form adhesive-free wedge shaped spaces into which photographic snapshots may be inserted in predetermined overlapping relationship.

Abstract: A display sheet and placard for use with a pegboard type merchandise display wall has sequentially numbered display posts, each carrying merchandise of common characteristics. The display placard has multiple matrices, each corresponding to a particular configuration of merchandise, particularly plumbing fittings. The first and second axes of each matrix have independently variable required characteristics of the merchandise, particularly sizes of each respective end configuration of the fitting. The body of each matrix has numbers referring to the numbered display post carrying fittings having the desired characteristics and sizes indicated by the row and column of the first and second axes, respectively.The placard or sheet may also provide graphic facsimiles or verbal descriptions of the characteristics or sizes of the fittings, descriptions of the manufacturer, instructions for use of the selection system, general characteristics of the merchandise displayed, and appropriate environments for use.

Abstract: A waterproof chart case for retaining a plurality of separate charts in chosen sequence inside a roll-up cover. The separate charts are individually contained in waterproof holders which are in hinged, stacked relationship one relative to the other on the inner side of the cover. A separate closure means is used to retain each of the chart holders in place.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a visible information management system which includes a notebook having disposed therein a plurality of pivotal passive pressure clips. Each of the pressure clips are adapted to hold therein an index card having information printed thereon. Each of the pressure clips may also be labeled in order that the cards held therein may be identified. The index cards are held in the pressure clips by virtue of an overlapping flap which forms a clip for holding under pressure an index card inserted therein. One side of the index card easily slips into the clip portion of the pivotal passive pressure clip. Since there are a plurality of pressure clips disposed in the notebook, a plurality of index cards may be slipped into the respective pressure clips within the notebook.

Abstract: A signal lamp comprises a housing defining two openings of corresponding overall shape and size, and an electrical light source mounted in the housing to provide a light beam which leaves the housing by way of one of the openings. The lamp also comprises translucent members, each of which corresponds in overall shape and size to the shape and size of each of the two openings, and retaining nibs for retaining any one of the translucent members in the first opening, so that the light beam passes through that translucent member when leaving the housing, and for retaining any one at least of the translucent members in the second opening. At least one of the translucent members includes a color filter so that when that translucent member is fitted in the first opening the color of the light beam is modulated by the color filter.

Abstract: A teaching aid providing text for a spoken commentary by a teacher and transparencies for simultaneous illustrative visual display, said aid comprising a loose-leaf binder of folded sheet material to form an enclosing case, means on adjacent folded flaps thereof to secure the case, loose-leaf binding means in the case, a stack of envelopes and an adjacent stack of text volumes mounted to said binding means, said volumes of text being arranged in a predetermined sequence, and a plurality of transparencies each removably accommodated within a respective one of said stack of envelopes and being arranged in said stack in the same sequence as said volumes of text.
