Abstract: A subsea antifouling sign and a method for mounting such a sign on a structure to be located subsea. The sign comprises a body of an antifouling material, and a first surface of the body has indicia or markings thereon. An adhesive layer or coating is provided on a second opposing surface, and a protective lining is located on the adhesive layer or coating. The method comprises removing the protective lining from the adhesive layer or coating; and attaching the subsea antifouling sign to the structure by adhering the adhesive layer or coating to a surface of the structure.

Abstract: A gift card assembly includes a support backer; a gift card formed separately from and supported by the support backer; a sticker formed separately from and supported by the support backer; and a panel formed separately from the support backer, the gift card, and the sticker. The gift card defines an activation feature configured to facilitate loading the gift card with monetary value. The sticker is releasably coupled with the panel. The panel is coupled with the support backer such that the sticker is coupled with the support backer only via the panel, and the panel fits entirely within a footprint of the support backer. Other method and product embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: An advertising display has support structures that attach to a pole. One or more advertising panels are mounted on the support structures to form an advertising display. The display may have the form of a cylinder, a triangle, a rectangle, an oval or other shapes. The display may optionally be tapered. The support structures may have a variety of score lines, at which the support may be folded as appropriate for the particular diameter of the pole. The panels may be secured to the supports by way of clips or other mechanical fasteners. Double-sided adhesive may be employed to secure ends of the panels, as desired.

Abstract: A sticker assembly includes an indicia-bearing sticker (30) having an adhesive layer (34). A vinyl film (20) is provided having a first side (22) and a second side (24), the second side (24) having a low-tack adhesive (25) thereon. The first side (22) of the vinyl film (20) is adhered to the adhesive layer (34) of the sticker (30). The second side (24) of the vinyl film (20) is applied to a receiving surface (12) and held against the surface (12) by the low-tack adhesive (25) wherein the vinyl film (20) and the sticker (30) are releasably adhered to the receiving surface (12) and wherein the indicia-bearing sticker (30) is displayed for viewing. In one embodiment, the sticker (30) is a vehicle windshield sticker and the receiving surface (12) is a vehicle windshield.

A pre-packaged appliqué for hygienic and decorative use on a toilet set lid is thus provided for retail sales.

Abstract: One or more types of ink retention layers for a one-way vision display panel and methods are provided. In one example, a one-way vision display panel assembly includes a perforated panel formed of a flexible material. The perforated panel having a front surface, a rear surface and a plurality of through holes extending from the front surface to the rear surface. An ink retention layer is located adjacent to the perforated panel. The ink retention layer includes a light reflective material that retains residual ink from an image applied to the front surface of the perforated panel. The one-way vision display panel may further include a releasing layer or a backing layer, or both.

Abstract: An exterior sign includes a main body, which has a design, a plating material, which is arranged on an inner surface of the main body, wherein the plating material is visible through the main body, and a double-layered protective layer, which is arranged on the plating material. The double-layered protective layer includes a first protective layer and a second protective layer. The first protective layer is arranged closer to the plating material than the second protective layer and has a lower level of contractility during curing than the second protective layer. The second protective layer has a higher level of corrosion resistance than the first protective layer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an announcement device that incorporates a set of indicia that incorporates raised, custom graphics and text having a generally metallic appearance with a satin, a polished, or a highly polished surface finish. The set of indicia includes an adhesive backing for mounting onto paper, cardstock, and solid materials like Plexiglas®, wood, stone, and metal. The raised, metallic graphics provide a vivid visual image of reflected metal, and the difference in height between the raised metallic graphics and the mounting surface provide a unique tactile characteristic without the use of typical embossing, debossing, or foil application techniques. The set of indicia can include pictorial graphics, text, images, communicating marks, or illustrative marks that communicate information related to events like weddings, social events, religious events, business applications, or family events.

The two-way see-through banner includes a first side having a first image printed thereupon, a second side having a second image printed thereupon, and a plurality of perforating holes through the banner. The perforating holes are created only after the first image and the second image have been printed on the first and second sides of the banner.

Abstract: A signage device is provided for attachment of a sign or badge having a curved lower edge region to a surface such as a chair backrest. A supporting part consisting of a flat strip of curved configuration has a concavely curved upper edge and an annular framing part is attached in superimposed relationship to the supporting part to retain and frame the sign, which is removably inserted behind the frame and supported upon the supporting part. A lower edge of the sign and a midpoint of the upper edge of the supporting part have matching tongue and notch location means so that the sign is retained non rotatably in a defined orientation. The supporting part may be mounted on to a backing plate to enable attachment of the device to a wider range of substrates.

The card is preferably a two section card with the before mentioned construction in an upper section and having a lower section which includes a removable key tag and a removable vehicle claim ticket. Service personnel can place the card on, and remove the card from, the inside of the vehicle windshield without bodily entering the vehicle.

Abstract: A lighted display device that includes components that are over molded or encased in a polymer gel. The polymer gel exhibits a high surface coefficient of friction such that the gel has a tacky surface and allows the display device to cling to a surface of any orientation. The polymer gel is clear or translucent such that the over molded components, which include light emitting components, can back or front light a display. The polymer gel can be flat on its sides or include three dimensional protrusions or inclusions on the surfaces.

A masking layer covers the first sign layer, wherein the masking layer is adapted to block light from penetrating the masking layer and reaching the first sign layer. Also, a top sign layer is applied to a back side of the sign substrate or to a top surface of the masking layer. According to another example embodiment, a method provides for applying a masking layer over a first sign layer disposed on a sign substrate having a front and back side. The masking layer is adapted to block light from penetrating the masking layer and reaching the first sign layer. A top sign layer may be applied to the back side of the sign substrate or to a top surface of the masking layer.

Consumer then transfers the article to the inside of building and attaches to any surface, such as a refrigerator, so it is displayed in the view of the consumer.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward packs, pads, sheets or rolls of repositionable and reusable sticky notes that are pre-printed with one or more themes, thereby enabling a user of the invention to decorate a home, office, or other structure with the sticky notes to convey a message or expression. The sticky notes are complied in the traditional fashion, with each note having a portion near the top, side, center or bottom or all over if on a roll or sheet which has removable, semi-sticky glue which allows it to stick to a wall. Because the sticky notes are easily removed from the pack, and are pre-printed with the desired message, they are easily placed in large or small quantities on a mirror, wall, floor, ceiling, car, seat, file folder, scrapbook or other hard or soft surface in a decorative manner to send a bold message.

A greeting sign is a semi-rigid card that shows a decorative, inspirational or typographic attribute on its front and a space for a personal message on its back. It features a hanging wire element similar to a decorative wall sign. It can be shipped to the recipient like a greeting card and displayed by the recipient like a wall sign.

The display device (11) is ideally suited for business signs, residential signs, novelty signs, vehicle signs, advertisements, holiday decorations, and numerous other applications.

The pre-printed indicia is readable from the front side of the information displaying sheet, specifies non-variable information associated with designating an overall height of a vehicle and includes variable information field indicia configured for having the overall height of the vehicle displayed therewith. The variable information field is immediately adjacent the variable information field indicia and is configured for having the overall height of the vehicle displayed therein.

Abstract: A kit for use in securing a vehicular handicap permit to the interior of a vehicle windshield so that the permit is visible through the windshield includes a strip having Velcro on one side and a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the opposite side. The kit also includes a permit holder with pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side and a Velcro strip on the opposite side. The holder is secured to the permit by folding the holder so that two sections of the adhesive coating face one another and pressing the two sections against two sides of the permit adjacent to edges of the permit. The Velcro on the exposed side of the holder may then be secured to the Velcro on the strip, which is attached to the windshield by its pressure-sensitive coating so that the permit hangs downwardly behind the windshield.

Abstract: This invention relates to a snap mobile for advertising a product or event and a method of forming the snap mobile. The snap mobile includes a display card having a length and a width. The width is divided by an odd number of score lines into n equally wide panels. One of the score lines is an intermittent score line having a plurality of land areas each separated by a perforation. An attachment mechanism is positioned on at least a portion of the first panel. The first panel is then overlapped onto the nth panel, the second panel is overlapped onto the n?1 panel, etc. The n?1 panel is then folded upon the nth panel to form a relatively flat snap mobile which can be easily shipped. The snap mobile has at least three legs and is visible from all directions.

Abstract: Disclosed is an alkyd resin-based pre-manufactured thermoplastic airport runway signage that is applied in relatively large sections onto an airport runway. The pre-manufactured preformed thermoplastic formed as a continuous sheet and wound onto a take-up spool. The runway surface is prepared with a CCS epoxy primer and the preformed thermoplastic is unwound from the take-up spool and positioned onto the runway surface. When the pre-manufactured thermoplastic signage is in a desired location it is initially rolled conforming to the runway surface. Heat is applied to the rolled surface to a preferred temperature with an infra-red (IR) heater to melt and adhere the pre-manufactured thermoplastic signage into the runway surface.

Abstract: The auxiliary shelf and display is a combined display board and collapsible shelf for attachment to an appliance or article of furniture, such as a refrigerator or filing cabinet. The auxiliary shelf and display includes a vertical display portion, which is divided into an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion may have user-selectable indicia formed thereon, and the lower portion may have a mirror or an imprinted surface mounted thereto. A shelf portion is pivotally mounted to a lower edge of the vertical display portion so that the lower portion of the vertical display portion is covered by the shelf portion when the shelf portion is in a collapsed configuration. A lower surface of the shelf portion has a display board, such as a corkboard, mounted thereto, which is visible to the user when the shelf is in the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: Advertising system that adheres printed indicia to surfaces are described. The advertising system can contain a substrate containing the printed indicia layer and an adhesive layer. A protective layer, formed of a substantially clear or transparent material, can be used protect an exterior surface of the substrate. The printed indicia may be coated, screen printed, transfer laminated, etc., to the underlying surface to which the advertising system is attached, as can the protective layer and the adhesive layer when present. The advertising system can be used on non-durable surfaces, as well as surfaces which are exposed to extreme conditions and/or continuous wear have. The advertising system can also be used with moving and non-moving, vertical and horizontal surfaces. The advertising systems also allow application and removal of advertisements quickly and effectively without removing, mechanically altering, or damaging the surfaces to which they are applied. Abstract: This invention relates to a decorative decal system for louvered devices, wherein louvers rotate in unison between a full open-to-view position to a full closed-to-view position. A set of pre-cut decal strips of flexible sheet material is provided, each including a front surface having a decorative design segment imprinted thereon and a back surface having an adhesive layer applied thereon. When the strips are attached to the louvers, the design segments provide the appearance of a continuous unitary pattern when the louvers are in the full closed-to-view position. Each decal strip includes a back support strip peelable therefrom to assist in alignment and to permit the decal strip to be attached to a louver. A single front cover sheet is provided for maintaining proper alignment of the decal strips during attachment to the louvers.
