Abstract: Packaged decorative thin-film appliqués for the exterior surface of toilet seat lids have a backer panel with a back side and an opposing release side, the release side having a release layer opposite the back side, the decorative thin-film appliqué having an application side facing and in contact with the release layer of the backer card, and a decorative side opposite the application side, the decorative side bearing printed images or indicia, and an appliqué frame substantially surround the decorative thin-film plastic appliqué and in contact with the release layer of the backer panel, the appliqué frame bearing printed images or indicia different from the decorative thin-film appliqué, and a separation between the decorative thin-film appliqué and the appliqué frame at which the decorative thin-film appliqué is separable from the backer panel with the appliqué frame remaining on the backer panel.

Abstract: A hang tag is generally provided, along with its methods of manufacture and use. In one embodiment, the hang tag includes a tag body and a keyring tab. The tage body generally defines a tag aperture positioned above an information surface, and a slot extends from an edge of the tag body to the tag aperture. The keyring tab is removeably positioned within the tag aperture defined by the tag body, and comprises a tab body defining a keyring aperture.

Abstract: A vehicle identification card having a multi-segmental sheet is disclosed. The sheet includes a first, second, and third segment having the same vehicle identification number thereon. The first segment has a front and back side. The back side of the first segment includes a layer of adhesive material and a removable liner covering the adhesive. The second segment has a removable key tag and a vehicle identification claim ticket. The key tag has an elongated tail with a first slit extending along a longitudinal dimension of the tail and a body for inclusion of vehicle identification information. The third segment is positioned between the first segment and the second segment and includes an upper portion and a lower portion with an opening therebetween. The upper portion and the lower portion are joined by a securing strip.

Abstract: A system including a first component configured to be attached to a vertical surface, the first component including at least a pair of protrusions coupled thereto with a spacing therebetween. The system further includes a second component including a pair of hang tags coupled thereto. Each hang tag has an opening therethrough with a spacing therebetween. The spacing between the openings of said hang tags generally corresponds to the spacing between the pair of protrusions such that each protrusion is receivable through the opening of an associated one of the hang tags to removably couple the second component to the first component. Each hang tag is generally flat and planar and is movable in a direction generally parallel to a plane of the associated hang tag.

Abstract: Disclosed is a medical fluid infusion system configured for pumping a fluid to a patient. The system includes one or more modular pump devices, such as infusion pumps, each of which is fluidly attached to an IV bag for infusing a liquid from the IV bag to a patient through at least one fluid line. A pole assembly of the medical fluid infusion system is configured to maintain the pumps and IV bags in a vertical alignment that eliminates or minimizes variations in pumping accuracy due to head pressure between the bags and the infusion pumps.

Abstract: A greeting card display system features a greeting card with a card first panel and a card second panel pivotally attached. A first crease divides a card front surface from a card back surface and a card first inside surface from a card second inside surface. The system features a protective sleeve with a sleeve first panel and a sleeve second panel. The protective sleeve features a sleeve cavity with a single sleeve opening adapted for insertion of the greeting card. The sleeve first panel is pivotally located on the sleeve second panel via a sleeve first outside crease that divides the front surface from the back surface and a sleeve first inside crease that divides the first inside surface from the second inside surface.

The apparatus includes a body having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends being opposed to one another; a bore in the body, the bore extending from the first end to the second end, and the bore defining a sidewall in the body; an opening in the body, the opening being configured in the sidewall, the opening extending from the first end to the second end; and an indicator on the body, wherein the indicator is a number corresponding to a distance, wherein the opening is configured to allow the marker to be releasably coupled to the object such that the bore functionally engages the object and the indicator is visible.

Abstract: A greeting card display system has a greeting card with a card first panel and a card second panel pivotally attached. A first crease divides a card front surface from a card back surface and a card first inside surface from a card second inside surface. The system has a protective sleeve with a sleeve first panel and a sleeve second panel. The protective sleeve has a sleeve cavity with a single sleeve opening adapted for insertion of the greeting card. The sleeve first panel is pivotally located on the sleeve second panel via a sleeve first outside crease that divides the front surface from the back surface and a sleeve first inside crease that divides the first inside surface from the second inside surface. The system has a display unit adapted to receive the protective sleeve on a display unit front surface.

Abstract: I provide a hang tag, preferably used for a saleable item such as clothing, that is convertible into a storage container. The storage container can then be used to store the purchased item. In a method of use, a user can remove the hang tag from a recently purchased saleable item of clothing, and, through a series of folds and interlocking of panels, create the storage containers in which the user could place the item.

Abstract: Forms containing a removable hang tag are disclosed. An example form includes a substrate including a first line of weakness defining a central area and a perimeter area. The form includes a second line of weakness in the central area to divide the central area into a first side and a second side. The form includes a third line of weakness formed in the perimeter area to define a sleeve area. The form includes a fourth line of weakness formed in the sleeve area to divide the sleeve area into a first sleeve layer and a second sleeve layer.

The tag includes an opening. The card also includes a strap that is separably attached to at least a portion of the tag. The strap is insertable through the opening of the tag and is configured to be fixedly attached about a handle of a piece of luggage.

The lower segment has a removable key tag with a vehicle identification number together with a pair of removable labels, one of which has the vehicle identification number and the other of which has space for entry of the parking space location number for the vehicle receiving service. The removable key tag also has spaces on its foldable tail for entry of the vehicle owners name and the parking space number for the serviced vehicle.

Abstract: An improved merchandise display system comprises a display tag, one or more product flaps each for attachment to an item of merchandise, and a detachable fastener. The fastener comprises a screw and a nut, the screw having a post for threaded engagement with the nut. The head of the screw, and the nut, are wider than the aperture and the post is received in the aperture in the display tag. The product flap is detachably held between the nut and the front surface of the display tag with the post of the screw received in an opening in the flap such that the product may be removed from and reattached to the display tag by disassembling and reassembling the display tag, fastener and product flap. A second product flap may be detachably held between the screw head and the back surface of the display tag.

Abstract: A medical information key chain for use in emergency situations with a simple and concise means of quickly identifying the person and emergency medical information, includes a casing, key ring, and an information tag. The key ring would attach the tag to the user's keys. The tag could be manufactured from a variety of materials including but not limited to plastic, stainless steel, brass, pewter, silver, gold and platinum. The medical information key chain would be custom engraved by the wearer with vital identification and emergency medical information. This information would include the wearer's name, the doctor's name, address and telephone number, as well as a list of medications. The medical information key chain may also be engraved with other pertinent medical information such as the wearer's blood type, allergies to medication and recent surgical procedures.

Abstract: A garment tag is provided that includes a band having a first opening for attaching to a first fastener of a garment and a second opening for attaching to a second fastener of the garment, the band having a first display portion that displays printed information regarding the garment at a fold in the garment when the garment is in a folded state. The first and second fasteners may be buttons and the first and second openings may be slots. The first display portion may be defined by two creases in the band, the creases being spaced apart by the approximate width of the garment fold. The band may also be pre-folded at the creases.

Abstract: A cable connector includes a base formed on a circuit board, a plurality of pins extending from the base and electrically connected to the circuit board, and a signal type indicator. A plurality of through holes is defined in the signal type indicator to receive the pins, and an emblem is arranged on the signal type indicator to indicate the signal type of the cable connector. The diameter of each through hole is greater than the diameter of each pin so that the pins can pass through the through holes of the signal type indicator for mounting the signal type indicator on the base.

Abstract: An electrical cable identification system for efficiently identifying electrical cables during and after circuit breaker installation. The electrical cable identification system generally includes an identification tab including a first end and a second end, a connecting portion integral with the first end and an identifier portion integral with the second end. The connecting portion is comprised of a thin configuration to slide between an outer sheath of an electrical cable and at least one inner wire encompassed by the outer sheath and a marking is located upon the identifier portion to identify the electrical cable.

Abstract: A hangtag is provided that is capable of hanging and securing a tool, such as a socket. The hangtag has a body portion having a front surface and a back surface, a hanging mechanism connected to the body portion, and a tool supporting mechanism also connected to the body portion for supporting a tool. The tool supporting mechanism includes first and second legs and a locking finger disposed between the first and second legs. The locking mechanism allows the particular tool to be reattached to the hangtag assembly after it is initially unlocked. This allows the hangtag to function as a storage and organization device for the tool.

Abstract: A divider for garments on a clothes rack. The divider is easily fit onto the clothes rack in a desired location and a laterally extending part is prominently displayed. The laterally extending part contains information as to the adjacent articles of clothing contained on at least one side of the divider. The divider may be used in home closets to separate different types of clothing or it may be used in stores to separate different sizes of the same type of clothing.

Abstract: An improved merchandise display system comprises a display tag, one or more product flaps each for attachment to an item of merchandises and a detachable fastener. The fastener comprises a screw and a nuts the screw having a post for threaded engagement with the nut. The head of the screw, and the nut, are wider than the aperture and the post is received in the aperture in the display tag. The product flap is detachably held between the nut and the front surface of the display tag with the post of the screw received in an opening in the flap such that the product may be removed from and reattached to the display tag by disassembling and reassembling the display tag, fastener and product flap. A second product flap may be detachably held between the screw head and the back surface of the display tag.

Abstract: An improved combination card and card retaining member for removably securing the card to the card retaining member, the card having formed within it an aperture and a slot connecting the aperture with an edge of the card, and the card retaining member being a member, such as a ring, which may be passed through the slot and into the aperture to secure the card to the card retaining member. The aperture and slot are configured and located on the card in such a manner as to improve the ease of attachment and detachment of the card to and from the card retaining member while minimizing the risk of accidental detachment of the card from the card retaining member. One or more cards may be used simultaneously with a single card retaining member. A preferred use of the invention is to retain and organize credit cards.

Abstract: A parking facility which includes a multitude of parking spaces for individual cars containing a plurality of removable tickets at each parking space. Each ticket identifies its associated parking space so that an individual can park a car in one of the parking spaces and remove one of the tickets to help him or her locate the parking space at a later time. The tickets may be color coded to identify different regions of the parking facility, and, preferably, contain advertising and/or promotional material.

Abstract: A closure mechanism receiving aperture presents a substantially contiguous, uninterrupted planar surface on a flexible medium, primarily for use with identification devices, i.e., wristbands. The aperture does not interrupt the printable area so that printer ink may be printed over the aperture without passing through. The inventive aperture also does not produce waster material or chads which can jam or foul-up a printer. An inventive wristband includes both snap closure and adhesive closure mechanisms that can be used at the same time.

Abstract: A notice tag marks out-of-service equipment, such as a fire hydrant. A front flat portion of the notice tag has an opening for mounting to the equipment. The opening may have a lip to pressure fit to a surface of the equipment, and a key for proper orientation to the notice. The front portion has an out-of-service notice on a colored background. A side portion or side panels are formed to the front portion at an angle greater than 90 degrees with respect to the front portion. The side panels are marked for visibility from a line of sight to the side panels. The side panels are marked with a geometric shape, such as red strips on a white background. The side panels may have a source of light for dark conditions. The side portion may extend around a circumference of the front portion.

Abstract: A vehicle identification and locator card for vehicle parking and servicing establishments includes a sheet of paperboard card having an upper segment and a pair of side by side lower segments. A two ply laminate patch is applied to the back side of one of the lower segments. The two plies are bonded by a dry release adhesive. The outline of an arrow shaped ignition key tag is formed by die cutting through the paper card and through the laminate ply adhered directly to the one lower segment.

Abstract: A vehicle identification and locator card for vehicle parking and servicing establishments includes three segments which can be detached from one another. All three carry the same vehicle identification number. A first segment is placed in the vehicle, a second segment is given to the customer and the third segment includes a die cut removable spatula shaped key tag carrying the vehicle identification number which can be attached to the vehicle key and hung on the hook or peg pending use by the service personnel or return of the vehicle owner. The key tag includes a rubber based adhesive backing and includes a handle portion which is passed through the key ring or hole in the ignition key and then sandwiched between folded parts of a paddle portion of the spatula. The folding brings into registration two holes punched in the paddle portion thereby facilitating hanging the key tag on a hook or peg.

The outline of an ignition key tag is die cut in the lower synthetic paper portion, which retains its strength when wet. The key tag retains its strength when wet. The lower portion may be attached to the upper portion by an adhesive tape.

Abstract: A combination sign holder and strip retailer for provided expanded area for graphics and detailed information about products offered for sale on the strip retailer. The sign holder portion of the combination has an opening at or near the bottom thereof to accommodate the passage of a plastic strip retailer (die-cut or injection molded) through the opening. An enlarged portion of the strip retailer is retained on opposite sides of the opening. The sign holder portion of the combination may be made of a heat-folded PVC having an additional third panel that allows the sign holder to be held by a C-shaped price channel on a store shelf. Alternatively, an adhesive strip or hooks extending through holes in the sign holder may be used to fasten the combination to a retail fixture.

The hangtag has a body portion, a hanging mechanism connected to the body portion, and a tool supporting mechanism also connected to the body portion for supporting a tool. The body portion has a front surface and a back surface. On the back surface is disposed a hangtag attachment apparatus. The hangtag attachment apparatus comprises a bracket, and an elongated attachment bar configured to be selectively attached to and detached from the bracket. The attachment bar has a length that permits it to be connected to at least two and preferably more hangtags so that multiple hangtags may be selectively connected together. In this way, tools that would otherwise be sold individually can now be sold as a set.

Abstract: An identification marker or tag for wires and other elongated objects is described. In one embodiment, the marker has a generally elongated shape, e.g., an elongated oval, and comprises a surface for bearing indicia and two holes, one hole located near each end of the marker. Each hole is connected to an edge of the marker by a slot or cut that is adapted for ease of clipping the marker onto a wire. The marker is dimensioned in length and width to display text in the font size desired to maximize legibility.

Abstract: The attachment plate (2) is made of a flexible, bendable material. The attachment plate has two tongue shaped portions including a first tongue and a second tongue formed by a perforation in the plate so that a foot portion of each tongue shaped portion is held to the plate while each respective tongue shaped portion, extending from the foot portion to an outer free end of each tongue shaped portion, respectively, is outwardly bendable from the plate and the outer free ends of the tongue shaped portions are immediately adjacent to one another at a slit formed by a perforation.

Abstract: A hang tag is disclosed. The hang tag has first and second surfaces, which are preferably planar. A slot is defined between the first and second surfaces. Desirably, the slot extends at least about 0.25 inches in one direction and at least about 1 inch in another direction. Also disclosed is a method and an apparatus for automatically applying a hang tag to an elongated object (e.g., an electrical cord such as a cord set), with a machine that is suitable for applying a securement strap to an object. The method includes providing a hang tag having a slot therein. The hang tag is aligned with the machine so that when the securement strap is ejected from the machine, it passes through the slot, forms a loop around the elongated object, and is tensioned around the object. As such, the securement strap serves to attach the hang tag to the elongated object in a stationary manner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an attachment plate (2) of a flexible, bendable material adapted for attachment to fabric, cables, flower stalks or similar items. The attachment plate has two tongue shaped portions including a first tongue (4, 20) and a second tongue (6, 21) formed by a perforation in the plate so that a foot portion (8, 9) of each tongue shaped portion is held to the plate while each respective tongue shaped portion, extending from the foot portion to an outer free end (10, 11; 22, 23) of each tongue shaped portion, respectively, is outwardly bendable from the plate and the outer free ends of the tongue shaped portions are immediately adjacent to one another at a slit (12, 24) formed by a perforation. The outer free end (10, 11; 22, 23) of each respective tongue shaped portion (4, 20; 6, 21) has at least one narrowing portion (14, 14′; 15, 15′) so that each respective narrowing portion is adapted to at least partially overlap the other narrowing portion at the slits (12, 24).

Abstract: The device comprises a sheet of paper or card, having a slit formed therein. The slit makes an inverted U-shape, having left and right leg portions, and a cross-bar. The slit divides the sheet into a front panel, on which a greetings message can be written or printed, and a fixing-loop, which slips over the neck of the bottle. The vertical length of the legs of the slit is shorter than the width between the legs, whereby the device comes to rest on the bottle, with the neck of the bottle touching the inside of the front panel and the back of the fixing-loop. The bottle does not touch the legs of the slit. An envelope for the device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A promotional assembly has a first layer of material and a second layer of material with a liner sandwiched therebetween. Score lines are cut through the layers of material and the liner to define one of two promotional assemblies, namely an advertising portion with a coupon card portion or a sticker portion with a coupon card portion. The advertising portion has a hanging section defining an opening for mounting the promotional assembly. Advertising areas are also disposed on the advertising portion for conveying various advertising information. The first and second layers of material for the sticker portion are further defined as first and second flexible film layers having a specific thickness. The coupon card portion has a number of removable mini-coupons that can be subsequently detached and redeemed.

The display card includes a main body including a front surface, a rear surface and an upper edge. The display card has a closed loop hanger hole formed in the main body that is adapted to receive a hanger to hang the display card for display. A container having a housing defining a compartment to house product is supported by the display card. The display card has a tape reinforcement layer adhered to the main body in a region adjacent to the hanger hole to enhance the strength of the display card between the hanger hole and the upper edge of the main body of the display card.

Abstract: A keychain assembly holds a plurality of keys thereon. The keychain assembly includes a panel that is fixedly secured to the key retainer. The panel defines a section having material printed thereon. The panel defines a predetermined thickness such that at least a portion of the material printed thereon may be removed by punching out a portion of the panel. This keychain assembly is an effective way to provide incentives to customers to have them return to a commercial entity. It provides a panel for advertisement as well as a panel of incentives. It is the incentives that keep the advertisement in the mind of the customer because the customer may not throw the keychain away if it is of value to the customer.

Abstract: A hangtag has a sample fabric portion of the same fabric material used to cover a lampshade which is protected by a covering. The fabric portion is accessible to enable a consumer to touch and feel the sample fabric portion and determine whether to proceed with purchasing the lampshade despite the inability to directly touch the fabric material on the lampshade due to the presence of the covering.

Abstract: A hang tag for sockets. The hang tag includes a hanging card portion having a hanging hole. A neck portion is joined underneath the hanging card portion. A screw-joining portion is joined underneath the neck portion, which has a screw-thread structure screwed to the socket, resulting in the entire hang tag for sockets being able to be displayed and secured by the screw-thread structure of the screw-joining portion. The neck portion is able to be clamped onto by wrenches or other similar tools, and the sockets that can easily be joined onto and removed from the screw-thread socket.

Abstract: A billboard tab which includes a uniformly thin flat sheet of synthetic resin material having at least first and second sections integrally connected along a mutually adjacent edge by a tearable perforated joint. The first section has a display surface area thereon configured to be oriented at an angle to the second section. The second section has a hole therethrough adjacent a first edge thereof, the hole being oriented adjacent the perforated joint. The second section also has a connecting structure adjacent a second edge remote from the first edge adjacent the hole for facilitating connection of the second section to an object.

Abstract: A hang tag for sockets comprised of a hanging card portion having a hanging hole; a neck portion joined underneath the hanging card portion, having at least a pair of parallel sides; and a screw-joining portion joined underneath the neck portion, which has a screw-thread structure screwed to the socket, resulting in the entire hang tag for sockets being able to be displayed and sold by the screw-thread structure of the screw-joining portion, thus enabling, also, with the neck portion being able to be clamped onto by wrenches or other similar tools, sockets that can easily be joined onto and removed from the screw-thread socket.

Abstract: A claim tag assembly has a first layer of card stock and a second layer of card stock with a liner sandwiched therebetween. Score lines are cut through the layers of card stock and the liner to define a first identification portion and a second identification portion. A first identifier is printed on the first identification portion for conveying a first message and a second identifier is printed on the second identification portion for conveying a second message which is identical to the first message. The first and second identification portions can then be matched after separation. The score lines further defining a card with the card being separable from the first and second identification portions. The card has at least promotional indicia and/or a coupon printed thereon for providing a marketing aspect to the claim tag assembly. Preferably, the card has a plurality of mini-coupons which can be detached from the card.
