Abstract: A frame element for a picture frame includes two interconnectable supporting elements embracing the frame corners, wherein one supporting element includes upper and lower supporting members adapted to receive a frame member; the upper supporting member having a first coupling element thereon; and a decoration element having a second coupling element thereon, wherein the first and second coupling elements cooperate to removably secure the decoration element to the upper supporting element.

Abstract: A kit for framing pictures providing a user with a transparent or translucent overlay that may cover a picture in order to enhance its appearance and also to protect it from inadvertent contact with destructive substances such as water. The kit may provide a monolithic kit frame structure that consists of joined strips of a material such as glass, thermoplastic or epoxy which may be subject to coloring, texturing and sizing. The kit alternatively may provide the materials to form and join these customizable strips. The kit frame is directly affixable to a picture or may be used in addition to a standard picture frame. The kit further may comprise an additional viewing bubble to further enhance the appearance of a covered picture.

Abstract: Decorative mirror frames, each characterized by a typically rectangular wooden frame having a pair of spaced-apart side frame members spanned by top and bottom frame members. Corner blocks overlap the junctions of the side frame members with the top and bottom frame members, respectively, at the corners of the frame. In a preferred embodiment various ornamental designs are provided in the corner blocks and top frame member, and a fluted molding panel is provided on each of the side and or the bottom frame members, between the corner blocks. In another preferred embodiment a mantel shelf or bottom shelf is mounted on the top or bottom frame member, respectively, and in still another preferred embodiment a decorative spindle column is provided on each side frame member, between the top and bottom corner blocks.

Abstract: A holder for an air freshener comprising a wall section having a perimeter, a forward facing rim disposed along the perimeter, a rearward facing rim disposed along the perimeter forming a rear space for containing the air freshener. An image may be disposed on the forward facing surface of the wall section.

Abstract: A resilient monolithic plastic sheet transparent display cover is used to hold a photograph or other item next to a surface, such as the surface of a refrigerator door. The plastic sheet, such as a cling vinyl, is removably adherent to the surface chosen, and may be peeled off and repositioned as desired. The display cover may include one or more de-bossed portions of suitable sizes for receiving photographs or other items, and may be provided with an attractive decorated, non-transparent border, or frame region for enhancing the appearance of the item to be displayed.

Abstract: A picture holder and frame having a graphical image applied to a flat front surface and having a photo recess in the front surface sized to accept a photograph. The graphical image on the front surface provides an ornamental design, and the perimeter edge of the picture holder is conformed to follow the outline of the ornamental design. The rear surface of the picture holder includes a pivotal leg for serving as a stand support member and a magnetic strip for applying and adhering the picture holder to a metallic surface.

Abstract: A method is provided for producing a composite work from a single two-dimensional work having an image thereon. A flat backing member is provided having generally the same shape and size as the two-dimensional work. The work and the backing member are bonded together to form a work piece. The work piece is cut to define a geometrically shaped center section and a separate perimeter section, thereby breaking the image of the two-dimensional work regardless of individual sculptural components of the work so that each of the sections displays the respective portion of the broken image. The center section and border section are then assembled such that the continuity of the image formed by the sections is broken.

Abstract: A chime cover assembly (10) comprising a box-like housing for supporting the electrical components of a door chime and including a cover (12) presenting a front wall (18) and a base (14) for mounting to a wall (16). The assembly characterized by a decorative plate (30) for being covered with wallpaper (32), or the like, and secured to the front wall (18) of the cover (12). The front wall (18) has holes (34) therein and the plate (30) includes integral projections (36) extending therefrom for insertion into the holes (34) for securing the plate (30) to the front wall (18). The cover (12) presents slanted trim areas (44) at the top and bottom of the front wall (18) and trim strips (46, 48) attach to the housing in the trim areas (44).

Abstract: An artistically stained glass copper-foiled mirror and frame assembly has a mirror portion and an attachable decorative bracket and an outer frame. The mirror portion can be sand blasted along the boundary thereof and the decorative bracket has a removable central portion to permit the mirror portion to be exposed. The decorative bracket is equipped with decorative patterns made of various materials that are created and worked according to their natural features to make the decorative patterns versatile and fascinating. The mirror and the decorative bracket are enclosed by the outer frame and retained in the frame by retaining members so that a damaged mirror can be replaced with ease.

Abstract: A frame that includes a depth image lenticular photograph as the frame surrounding a planar print or object of interest to the viewer. The frame can be a reflection print or a backlit transparency of a real object or a graphical creation.
