Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanism for efficiently supplying paint to a roller or brush, formed by a suction/discharge pump including a deep cavity (1). The pump includes two externally threaded cylindrically-hollow extensions (5 and 5?) which are located diagonally opposite one another in relation to the cavity (1) and serve as connectors for attaching accessories, such as, for example, a brush, roller handle or hose. The lower extension (5) includes a narrow channel (7) which is connected to the cavity (1) and the other end of which is connected to a wide channel (6) into which is inserted a first valve (8) having a duckbill-shaped nozzle, made from a deformation-resistant material. The upper section (5?) has a similar structure to the lower section (5), but differs in that, instead of having a wide channel (6), this section ends in a tip (15) of equal thickness to that of the wide end (9) of the male connector, so that a second valve (8?) having a duckbill-shaped nozzle can be mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 8142090
Abstract: A cosmetic product includes a mascara composition and a treatment device, whereby the mascara composition is applied to the eyelashes by softening the mascara composition via heat. The mascara composition is solid at room temperature, however is softened at elevated temperature, so it may be applied to the eyelashes. The treatment device includes an applicator for receiving, heating to soften, and applying the softened mascara composition to the eyelashes. Once the softened mascara composition is applied to the eyelashes, the mascara composition is quickly cooled and thus solidified by the atmosphere. The mascara composition thus applied to the eyelashes provides a firm film covering the eyelashes, which is not softened at body temperature, and thus provides enhanced wearability. A cap detachable to the applicator is provided with a loading mechanism for delivering pieces of the mascara composition one by one to the applicator.
