  • Patent number: 7674059
Abstract: A combined joint compound dispenser and applicator for corners comprises a cylinder mechanically attached to a tube extending therefrom. The cylinder pushes a compound by way of a piston. A ball joint provides an articulated connection between the tube and an applicator by way of an insertion shoe. The applicator has two flaps cojoined at an apex so as to form a <<V>> shape. The compound passes from the tube through the applicator by way of a slit, and that slit is formed by an arrow shaped element placed in front of a hole. The hole is at the apex. Wheels located on wedges allow the applicator to roll on walls. The wedges extend integrally from the flaps.

  • Patent number: 7325995
Abstract: The applicator for a double cartridge includes an adapter for connection to a mixer attached to a double cartridge as well as a dispensing slot, the side of the enclosure that is turned towards the glued substrate forming an angle with the longitudinal axis of the adapter which is comprised between 5° and 90°. The underside of the enclosure is essentially continuously curved. Due to the curvature of the enclosure, the material that is to be glued, e.g. lung tissue, is first smoothened and immediately thereafter evenly coated with adhesive. This allows a reliable application of such an applicator in medicine or in the industry.

  • Patent number: 7306389
Abstract: The spreader has a housing for receiving a first receptacle and a second receptacle. The first receptacle is a cartridge of fluid, such as paint. The second receptacle is a manifold having a secondary reservoir, a meter, and a spreading material. Paint is transferred from the first receptacle to the second receptacle via a main conduit, with a pair of pistons acting upon the main conduit between a pair of one directional check valves. The pair of pistons may be replaced by a button pump having two one way valves. The manifold is slideably engaged to the housing such that manifolds having different conduit arrangements, larger conduits, different meters, different spreading materials, and different end portions, may be used.

  • Patent number: 7287926
Abstract: A fluid squeegee comprises nozzles in the squeegee head for spraying a fluid, such as water, onto a surface to be cleaned and a squeegee blade on the squeegee head for clearing away the fluid from the surface. A molded unit for the squeegee head includes a channel shaped mounting plate having a web portion between a lower flange portion and an upper flange portion. A squeegee blade is adapted to be mounted to the lower flange portion and nozzles are adapted to be mounted in the mounting plate or in a nozzle plate that is fixed over an aperture in the mounting plate. Hollow brace members and a hollow shaft socket are positioned on the intake side of the mounting plate. The hollow shaft socket includes discharge ports that are aligned with the hollow brace members, which extend radially away from the nozzle. The hollow brace members enclose the nozzles so as to create a sealed fluid passageway between the hollow shaft socket and the nozzles.

Abstract: A fluid dispensing device for applying fluids which dry and harden with exposure to ambient air, typically glues and the like. The device includes a sponge applicator. A flexible container element has a first thread for engaging a dispensing element, including the applicator. A neck portion of the container element includes a second thread on an outer surface thereof for selective engagement with a cap-like cover which encloses the sponge and prevents drying of the same during periods in which the device is not in use. The sponge includes an axially-aligned passage interconnecting directly with the neck portion, so that the squeezing of the container element transfers the dispensed fluid directly to an outer surface of the sponge for application to a treated surface.
