The stick-shaped material extruding container is provided with a piston-shaped extruding portion which is located at the front end of a moving body and tightly slides in a filling part; the stick-shaped material is tightly filled within the filling part; there exists sealant between the stick-shaped material and the extruding portion, which sealant contains one or more components chosen from the group consisting of oil components which assume liquid state at room temperature and polyols which assume liquid state at room temperature; the extruding portion and the stick-shaped material maintain in a tight engagement state in the filling part by means of the sealant with the mobile body being retracted.

Abstract: A device for packaging and method for applying a product configured to be applied on fibers. One example of the device includes a base incorporating a recess to accommodate a cup. This example of the device also includes a cup forming a seat for receiving a stick of product and a driving means for moving the cup relative to the base between a stowed position of the cup in the recess and a usage position in which an applicator portion of the stick emerges at least partially from an opening of the recess. The device includes a plurality of separator/comb elements extending around at least a portion of the opening of the recess, the separator/comb elements being configured so as to engage with the fibers to separate/comb them simultaneously to, or after the application of, the product onto the fibers by the applicator portion. A method is of using the device is also provided.

The carrier serves to support the rod-like article attached thereto. A control cylinder integrated with the inner cylinder lies outside the outer cylinder. An intermediate cylinder is interposed between the outer cylinder and the control cylinder. The intermediate cylinder comprises an upper portion extending upward beyond an upper end of the control cylinder and a lower portion extending into the control cylinder. A coupling member serving to couple the inner cylinder and the intermediate cylinder to each other is snap-engaged with the lower portion of the intermediate cylinder.

The dispensing package can have a tear-away seal integrally molded with the applicator end of the package barrel. The dispensing package can be actuated by rotating a thumb-wheel held in place by two slots in opposing sides of the package barrel. A hollow exterior cylindrical casing is supported at one end within the base and surrounds the hollow cylindrical self and the cosmetic supported thereon. The cylindrical casing is covered by an exterior cylindrical casing when the apparatus is not in use.

Abstract: A stick projecting device has a barrel as a case body comprising a front barrel and a rear barrel both of which are configured rotatably with regard to each other. A piston rod oval in section, having uncontinuous male thread portions is slidably fitted in the barrel. A driver having a female thread portion in mesh with the male thread portions is provided in the front barrel. A locking member that prevents the piston rod from turning is secured to the front barrel at a position forwardly of the driver. An inner cylinder is movably provided in the front barrel and the tip of the inner cylinder is able to be in abutment with a part of the front interior of the front barrel. A part of a stick that has been projected from the opening of the tip of the front barrel can be restored in the front barrel by a reverse turning operation of the rear barrel.
