The socket body 2 has a set of channels 15 formed therein and the plug body 3 having a corresponding set of radial tabs 7 formed thereon, the channels 15 forming a keyway for the tabs 7 such that load bearing projections 5, 14 on the bodies are releasably engageable in the manner of a bayonet coupling. The assembly is characterised in that a set of locking pins are provided on the socket member that are extendable into the channels 15 so as, in use, to trap the tabs 7 in undercuts 15k of the channels 15, thereby preventing unintentional release of the plug 3 from the socket 2, and retractable from the channels 15 so as to enable release of the plug 3 from the socket 2.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2007Date of Patent: November 15, 2011Assignee: Oil States Industries LimitedInventor: John Gallagher

Patent number: 8002655Abstract: An actuator device for a bicycle gearshift is provided. The actuator device having an articulated quadrilateral mechanism intended to be integrally fixed to a bicycle frame and to a derailleur of the gearshift, a motor member that acts on the articulated quadrilateral mechanism to deform the articulated quadrilateral, and displaces the derailleur and a support element for the motor member associated with the articulated quadrilateral. According to the invention, one of the motor member and the support element comprises at least one jutting element and the other of the motor member and the support element comprises at least one seat adapted to receive said jutting element. Thus, the motor member is associated with the support element so as to prevent mutual translations in the axial direction in any operating or climatic condition.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2005Date of Patent: August 23, 2011Assignee: Campagnolo, S.R.L.Inventor: Mario Meggiolan

Patent number: 8002491Abstract: A system and a method for securely connecting, or interlocking two pole sections together to ensure that they do not disconnect during use. The system includes a tubular female end portion of the first pole section and a male end portion of the second pole section that is insertable into the female end portion. The system additionally includes a locking nut threadingly engaged with the male end portion that is rotatable on the male end portion to longitudinally transition the locking nut into contact with the female end portion to fixedly interlock the male and female end portions. Furthermore, the system includes a biased locking sleeve assembly slidably and rotatably mounted on a locking assembly portion of the second pole. The locking sleeve assembly can include a locking sleeve and a biased plunger slidingly positioned within an interior of the locking sleeve for applying a locking force to the locking nut.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2008Date of Patent: August 23, 2011Assignee: GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, LLCInventors: Robert Whitling, Gregory Francisco, William Dale Jones

Patent number: 7984883Abstract: An exemplary support structure includes a support body, a connecting body, and a rear board. The connecting body is fixed on the support body. The rear board is rotatable relative to the support body. The rear board defines a through hole therein. The connecting body forms a latch protrusion. When the support body is located at a first position, the latch protrusion is capable of passing the through hole of the rear board. When the support body and the latch protrusion are located at opposite sides of the rear board, and the support body rotates past the first position, the latch protrusion resists the rear board and prevents the support body detaching from the rear board.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2008Date of Patent: July 26, 2011Assignees: Hong Fu Jin Precision Industry (ShenZhen) Co., Ltd., Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jian-Jun Li, Te-Sheng Jan, Yu-Tao Chen, Chun-Che Yen

Patent number: 7950562Abstract: A surgical stapling device has an elongated body and a removable loading unit and a securing structure for securing the loading unit onto the elongated body. Guiding ramps guide the movement of the loading unit as it is mounted onto the elongated body. A movable yoke secures the loading unit onto the elongated body. A sensor mechanism is engaged by the loading unit and moves with the securing structure. The locking structure has a first position for blocking movement of the sensor mechanism and preventing removal of the loading unit. The locking unit has a second position for allowing the loading unit to be removed from the device.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2007Date of Patent: May 31, 2011Assignee: Tyco Healthcare Group LPInventors: John W. Patent number: 7913863Abstract: A shelving unit includes a support frame and at least one support board detachably mounted on the support frame. The support frame includes a back board which has at least one support rail which is provided with at least one locking slot. The shelving unit further comprises at least one locking knob mounted on the support board and detachably locked in the locking slot of the back board. The support board can be mounted on and detached from the support frame. Thus, the user only needs to rotate the locking knob to lock the support board onto the back board or to unlock the support board from the back board, so that the support board is mounted on and detached from the back board easily and quickly without using tools and saving a considerable amount of time for a user.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2009Date of Patent: March 29, 2011Inventor: Shih-Ming Lin

Patent number: 7901410Abstract: An intramedullary nail and a targeting and/or nailing instrument includes a connector end which has an axially parallel projection which cooperates with an axially parallel recess on the hollow connection end of the nail. The engagement of the projection and recess fastens the nail under axial engagement on the connection end of the instrument in predefined rotational position on the instrument. A quick-fastener element engages in the connection end of the nail and has a first coupling element and the connection end of the nail has a second coupling element. The coupling elements are configured so that in a first rotational position relative to the axially parallel projection the instrument can be introduced into the connection end of the nail and in a second rotational position the coupling elements cooperate so that the nail is held axially fixedly on the instrument.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2004Date of Patent: March 8, 2011Assignee: Stryker Trauma GmbHInventors: Sabine Bigdeli-Issazadeh, Axel Cremer
