  • Patent number: 11332920
Abstract: A prefabricated column assembly includes a hollow tubular column having a longitudinal axis. A gusset plate assembly includes a plurality of gusset plates connected to the column and extending laterally outward from the column in planes generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the column. A first pair of the gusset plates extends laterally outward from the column along a first axis and defines a space for receiving an end portion of a first beam for mounting the first beam on the first pair of gusset plates. A second pair of the gusset plates extends laterally outward from the column along a second axis that is nonparallel and non-coincident with the first axis. The second pair of gusset plates defines a space for receiving an end portion of a second beam for mounting the second beam on the second pair of gusset plates to provide a bi-axial joint connection.

At least a portion of the base is substantially parallel to a surface of a portion of the ring and at least a portion of the transverse face is substantially perpendicular to the surface of the portion of the ring. The mounting plate is secured to the drive system and is securable to the transverse face of the mounting bar. Movement of the adjuster moves the drive assembly relative to the mounting bar when the mounting plate is adjacent the transverse face of the mounting bar.

Abstract: A device for fastening an add-on part, which is formed with tongue-like projections, to a support part has members (1, 2) which are connected to one another. At least a number of the members (1, 2) has a cage wall (3) which surrounds a receiving space (14) and on which is formed a ramp structure (13) which projects into the receiving space (14) and has an inclined piece, which rises obliquely from an inlet side to an outlet side of the respective member (1, 2), and a stop piece. The stop piece has a greater spacing from a contact side of the cage wall (3) than that region of the inclined piece which is adjacent to the inlet side. In this way, when the ramp structure (13) is in engagement with pins which are attached to the support part, the members (1, 2) press against the tongue-like projections and fasten the add-on part to the support part.

  • Patent number: 7523912
Abstract: A pivot assembly that can be retrofitted to existing traffic poles. The pivot assembly comprises a bearing assembly disposed between a top plate and a bottom plate. The bottom plate connects to the existing pole foundation with the standard anchor bolt arrangement. Similarly, the top plate connects to the base plate of the traffic pole using additional bolts. Bearings in the pivot assembly allow the pole to rotate relative to the foundation. Preferably, roller bearings are utilized, as these can be contained substantially within the pivot assembly without extending down into the foundation or up into the pole. This means the pivot assembly can be installed in existing, standard traffic poles and foundations without modifying either. The pivot assembly does not interfere with existing wiring or access openings.

Abstract: Disclosed are improved devices for rotatably-coupled trailer coupler assemblies. The disclosed devices include a lock assembly that can be used to lock and unlock a coupler arm of a swing-type trailer coupler assembly in predetermined positions, such as towing and storage positions. The lock assembly includes a lock member that moves between a locked an unlocked state. In the locked state, the lock member locks the coupler arm of the assembly in a predetermined position, such as a towing position. In the unlocked state, the lock member does not interfere with the coupler arm such that the coupler arm is free to move between the towing and storage orientations. An actuator is coupled to the lock assembly. The actuator can be actuated to transition the lock member between the locked and unlocked states. The lock assembly is fixedly mounted to the coupler assembly so that a user does not have to insert and remove the lock member.
