With A Discrete, Resilient Element Patents (Class 411/211)
  • Patent number: 11913485
Abstract: An improved plunger for a self-locking pin having a plunger section and a base section in a unitary one-piece construction, wherein the plunger section is at least substantially orthogonal to the base section. Wherein the base section comprises at least a substantially planar configuration, and may provide for biasing of the plunger section. A portion of the plunger extends outwardly from a bore of the self locking pin in which the plunger resides. The plunger section is preferably wedge-shaped, or may possess other geometrical shapes, while the portion of the plunger disposed inside the bore is of a cylindrical shape. An extended biasing section tor positioning of the plunger section may be in unitary construction with the base section.

  • Patent number: 6206625
Abstract: Nut with positive and micrometric locking intended to be screwed on a shaft (1)(23)(60)(70) comprising a serrated part (2)(24)(59)(72) and locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) having each one at least one tooth (19)(41)(58)(76), and which are intended to fix in rotation the nut (4)(26)(54)(73) on the shaft (1)(23)(60)(70), said locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) being movable between a first locked position and a second unlocked position, the locking segments (15)(37)(44)(75) being constantly and independently radially stressed by a torical spring (21)(43)(45)(78).

  • Patent number: 4643460
Abstract: A concrete pumping pipe coupling operates at nominal pressures of 2,000 psi and momentary peaks in excess of 3,000 psi. A two-piece hinged coupling forms a cylindrical enclosure encircling adjacent pipe ends. A two-piece latch releasably interconnects the ends of the two coupling sections. The latch includes a lever pivotally mounted to a link which is pivotally connected to the one coupling section. The lever pivots on a cam member connected to the other coupling section. The link includes a bolt threaded into an elongated nut. The threaded connection is for varying the length of the link. The elongated nut has an annular inner groove with a stop wall at each end. A spring-loaded limit pin is slidably mounted in a blind hole in the bolt and projects into the recess. The stop walls in the nut limits the movement of the bolt from the nut and thereby the extension of the link.

  • Patent number: 4396328
Abstract: A coupling pin for agricultural implement hitches and other mechanical couplings includes an elongated generally cylindrical body portion and a ring-like retainer portion integrally formed with the body portion. The coupling pin is formed from spring steel plate or the like by a shearing or blanking operation and successive bending operations to form the pin body from opposed overlapping or abutting blade portions. The ring-like retainer portion which is concomitantly formed with the pin body has opposed sides drawn to shorten the retainer to provide engagement of a recessed portion formed on the retainer with the distal end of the pin body.
