Resilient Patents (Class 411/331)
  • Patent number: 10330009
Abstract: A lock for securing a nosecone having first threading to an inlet case having second threading and for use with a gas turbine engine having an axis includes an annular ring designed to be positioned about the first threading. The lock also includes a tab extending radially from the annular ring, and having a ramped circumferential end and an angled circumferential end such that the ramped circumferential end passes over a detent of the inlet case in response to the nosecone being fastened to the inlet case and the angled circumferential end engages with the detent to resist unfastening of the nosecone from the inlet case.

  • Patent number: 9051951
Abstract: A threaded post structure includes a first threaded post, a second threaded post and a positioning component. The first threaded post has a first internal thread and an external thread. The second threaded post has a second internal thread and at least two positioning portions. The first threaded post and the second threaded post are screwed with each other along an axis through the external thread and the second internal thread. The positioning component is disposed on the first threaded post. When the second threaded post moves to a position along the axis, the positioning component positions one positioning portion to fix the second threaded post at the position. When the second threaded post moves to another position along the axis, the positioning component positions another positioning portion to fix the second threaded post at the another position. Besides, an assembling structure having the threaded post structure is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5897277
Abstract: An obturating device including a body (11) with a recess (8) at one end engageable by a spanner, and a screw thread (2) at the other end for engaging a complementary screw thread (7) in an opening (6) of a housing (3). A locking ring (31) biased by a spring in the obturating device (1) and a complementary locking ring (47) in the opening have asymmetrical teeth which interlock when screwing-in is complete and snap together to prevent loosening of the rings. The tooth flanks that engage one another on loosening are nevertheless sufficiently angled to enable forced unscrewing using a spanner. A skirt (14) protects the mechanism and acts as an abutment in the fully screwed-in position. The obturating device enables locking and unlocking, requires no direct manual operation and is particularly suitable for endoscope insertion openings in aircraft engines.

  • Patent number: 5273392
Abstract: This invention relates to an automated work center for use in materials handling operations. The work center includes a randomly accessible vertically moving temporary storage queue 11 for receiving containers 25 that hold material goods. A fixed loading ramp 20 is arranged to receive containers 20 from an external system and to load the received containers onto the storage queue 11. A work area 5 having a plurality of rotatable work tables 7 provides an gives the operator access to the containers. A delivery system 14 transfers containers between the storage queue 11 and the work tables 7 and a takeaway system 16 transfers containers between the work area and the conveyor network. An automated control system 17 coordinates the delivery of containers between the temporary storage queue 11 and the work area 5. A consolidation queue 18 having a multiplicity of vertically spaced shelfs may be disposed opposite the work tables 7 to facilitate the consolidation of ordered goods.
