  • Patent number: 9541344
Abstract: A firearm compensator assembly includes a compensator base that may be mounted to a barrel of a firearm, the base having a contact surface. A cylindrical-shaped compensator body has a bore, an axis, a sidewall, a contact surface, an outer surface and at least one gas discharge port extending through the sidewall between the bore and the outer surface. A spring exerts a biasing force urging the body contact surface into engagement with the base contact surface whereby the body is locked to the base. The gas discharge port is rotatable around the axis by urging the body contact surface away from the base contact surface against the biasing force of the spring.

  • Patent number: 9500437
Abstract: A muzzle loading device includes a hollow shot holding chamber having a first and second end; an actuator located at the first end; and a flexible restraining mechanism and a muzzle alignment feature located at the second end. The flexible restraining mechanism is biased to a closed state, and, in response to the actuator being actuated, goes to an open state. The actuator includes a plunger, a bullet seat, and a spring. The plunger traverses axially along a hollow portion of the hollow shot holding chamber into the muzzle, eliminating the need for a bullet starter. The spring biases the plunger away from the flexible restraining mechanism and limits the traversing distance of the plunger. The hollow shot holding chamber includes an end portion shaped to correspond to an outer geometry of a muzzle.

  • Patent number: 9194653
Abstract: A tool providing a means to safely extract and/or insert a roll pin from the trigger guard assembly of a lower receiver unit of an automatic or semiautomatic rifle. Current tools fail to provide positive engagement and support of the trigger guard region, particularly the trigger guard lips which can easily be snapped or fractured during a roll pin extraction or insertion process. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides an improved means to align and support a lower receiver unit by means of complementary mating and stop regions that secure the lower receiver in position while providing one or more cutouts that accommodate protruding levers and buttons on the lower receiver. Some embodiments feature a contoured top section having at least one of a plurality of surface features selected from a cutout, a mating region and a stop region; and a roll pin receiving port.

Abstract: Rifles, such as the AR-15, can be equipped with four connected rectangular plates, referred to as a “Quad Rail.” The purpose of the quad rail is to accommodate shooter's accessories such as high powered scope, night or infrared scope, battery(ies), laser pointer, optical range finder, and single hand grip or a bi-pod. Once the shooter selects the accessory, he or she is stuck with it, since replacement of the accessory is time consuming. My invention improves the quad rail by allowing the shooter to rotate it under conditions in the field without any tools. Rotation in the field permits rapid deployment of the accessories and avoids the need for re-calibration. The shooter's accessories are all mounted on the quad rail, such that through rotation of the quad rail or series of quad rails, a different accessory or combination of accessories can be immediately utilized.

Abstract: A black powder pellet loader for a revolver. Tip ends of a number of fingers are movable from a closed position to an open position by sliding a thumb bracket toward a main bottom right end tube. One end of a penetrating tube may penetrate through the second end of a sliding raised rib tube, through a reducer adapter and a finger retaining nut until the end of the penetrating tube strikes a downward bend of each of the fingers. The downward bend of the fingers may continue to slide over the penetrating tube, which may force the tip ends of the fingers diverge from the closed position to the open position. Black powder pellets may be inserted between the fingers when in the open position, and upon release of the thumb bracket may be retained in the fingers when in the closed position.
