    Abstract: The present invention relates to a decorative film comprising a substrate, an intermediate layer, a decorative layer and a protective layer, respectively. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative film comprising a substrate, an intermediate layer, a decorative layer and a protective layer, respectively. The object of the present invention is to provide a decorative film which is suitable for outdoor use without any objectionable loss of the aesthetic value of the print in the decorative film. Another object of the present invention is to provide a decorative film in which the print present on the decorative film can be adapted as needed.

A film formed by the irradiation of doped liquid silanes can later be converted (generally by heating and annealing/recrystallization) into a doped, hydrogenated, amorphous silicon film or a doped, at least partially polycrystalline silicon film suitable for electronic devices.
