    Abstract: Protective laminate films protect an underlying window surface from scratches or other damage. The laminate films generally include a substrate having a scratch resistant coating adhered to one side and an adhesive layer adhered to an opposite side. Adhesion promoter and primer layers may be provided to enhance adhesion of the scratch-resistant coating to the surface. Each layer is transparent such that, when applied to a surface, the laminate film does not significantly impact or reduce optical clarity. Each layer may also be flexible so that the laminate films can be molded to a curved surface. Generally, the scratch resistant coating protects the laminate film from scratching or other damage, such as from debris or impacts. The substrate provides structural integrity to the laminate film and may provide some impact dispersion.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a composite tape used for producing printed circuit board is provided. The method includes the steps of: providing a mold-releasing layer on a first surface of a paper substrate layer; providing a composite adhesive layer on a second surface of the paper substrate layer, the composite adhesive layer being formed by polyurethane adhesive, polyester adhesive, or a mixture thereof; providing a plastic layer on a second surface of the composite adhesive layer; and providing an adhering layer on a second surface of the plastic layer. The composite tape according to the invention can not only bear high temperature up to 280° C. for a predetermined time, but also the tape does not detach or warp.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a clad board includes: sticking a releasing film to a pre-preg sheet; forming a non-through-hole or through-hole in the pre-preg sheet including the releasing film; filling the hole with conductive paste; peeling off the film; and heating and pressing a metal foil onto the pre-preg sheet. The clad board has a smooth face formed on one face or both the faces of the pre-preg sheet, so that the conductive paste is restrained from spreading in an interface between the pre-preg sheet and the releasing film. This structure can avoid short-circuit between circuits and prevent insulating reliability from lowering. As a result, an yield rate is improved, and a reliable circuit board is obtainable.

    Abstract: A method of removing a target from a biological sample which involves placing a transfer surface in contact with the biological sample, and then focally altering the transfer surface to allow selective separation of the target from the biological sample. In disclosed embodiments, the target is a cell or cellular component of a tissue section and the transfer surface is a film that can be focally altered to adhere the target to the transfer surface. Subsequent separation of the film from the tissue section selectively removes the adhered target from the tissue section. The transfer surface is activated from within the target to adhere the target to the transfer surface, for example by heating the target to adhere it to a thermoplastic transfer surface. Such in situ activation can be achieved by exposing the biological sample to an immunoreagent that specifically binds to the target (or a component of the target).
