Abstract: Polymers having excellent adherence to film supports such as cellulose acetate are disclosed. The polymers comprise random recurring units having the structure--A).sub.w, --B).sub.x, --C).sub.y and --D).sub.zwherein;A represents polymerized vinyl acetate;B represents a polymerized acrylate or methacrylate monomer capable of copolymerization with vinyl acetate;C represents a polymerized monomer selected from the group consisting of methacrylic acid, itaconic acid and vinylbenzoic acid;D represents a polymerized cationically charged copolymerizable monomer;w represents from 20 to 85 weight percent;x represents from 5 to 65 weight percent;y represents from 5 to 50 weight percent and;z represents from 0 to 15 weight percent.
Abstract: A heat-developable color photographic material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support having thereon a layer containing fine droplets of complex coacervate containing a light-sensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt oxidizing agent and a color image forming substance which are prepared by complex coacervation and hardened with a hardening agent. Color fog does not occur with the material and it can be easily prepared to provide a color image having good color balance by imagewise exposure to light and a heat development procedure. A process for forming a color image using the heat-developable color photographic material is also disclosed.

Abstract: In a process for hardening gelatine containing layers of color photographic multi-layered materials which have a paper laminated with a polyolefin layer arranged on both sides a substrate 1,3,5-triacrylohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine and a polyhydric aliphatic alcohol with 3 to 10 carbon atoms are added to the casting solutions and the casting solutions are then applied to a corona irradiated surface of the substrate.
Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing in at least one of its constituent layers a polymerized stabilizer which comprises repeating units having an 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine moiety. The stabilizer does not inhibit the sensitivity of the material and greatly enhances its storability.

Abstract: In a photothermographic element comprising (A) at least one photosensitive layer comprising a photosensitive component, such as photosensitive silver halide or a diazotype photosensitive material, (B) at least one layer comprising a processing agent for the photosensitive component and (C) a separation polymer between (A) and (B), increased preexposure storage stability is provided by a polysulfonamide as separation polymer (C). After imagewise exposure of the photothermographic element, an image can be developed by merely heating the element to moderately elevated temperatures.

Abstract: This invention is directed to photographic elements having hydrophilic colloid layers containing loaded particles of from 0.02 to 0.2 micron in average diameter consisting essentially of a loadable polymer, with greater than 2 percent by weight of the polymer being derived from monomers capable of forming water soluble homopolymers. A hydrophobic photographic dye, coupler, developing agent or ultraviolet absorbing compound is loaded into and distributed through the particles. The weight ratio of the hydrophobic photographic dye, coupler, developing agent or ultraviolet absorbing compound to the loadable polymer is from about 1:4 to 3:1.
Abstract: Novel photographic processing compositions including a polymeric oxime viscosity-increasing reagent for processing an exposed film unit to provide a photographic image. While this photographic image may be in black-and-white or in color and prepared by any of the heretofore known systems, of particular interest are color diffusion transfer systems for preparing a color image viewable without separation of any of the components or layers of the photographic product. The invention also includes a novel class of polymeric oximes which may be employed in such compositions.
