Abstract: An improved process is provided for attaching layers of hydrophilic, photosensitive materials onto hydrophobic plastic substrates, which comprises forming a layer of a glassy, optically transparent, polar, moisture barrier material on the substrate prior to depositing the photosensitive layer thereon. The process is especially suitable for the fabrication of pre-holographic elements and holograms.

Abstract: A heat-developable photosensitive material comprising a support having coated thereon at least on sensitive layer comprising (a) a binder and at least one of (b) an organic silver salt, (c) a photocatalyst, and (d) a reducing agent wherein said heat-developable photosensitive material additionally contains (e) a polyisocyanate and a process for preparing same are disclosed.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of a silver halide photographic material is disclosed which provides for the formation of a photographic layer by the use of a coating solution containing a compound represented by formula I or II.C.sub.3n F.sub.(6n)-1 --Y--A--B (I)C.sub.3n F.sub.(6n)-1 --Y--A--X--A--Y--C.sub.3n F.sub.(6n)-1 (II)wherein A represents a simple bond or a divalent group; Y represents oxygen or sulfur, or ##STR1## B represents a monovalent hydrophilic group; X represents a divalent hydrophilic group; n represents an integer of 1 to 4; R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, a lower alkyl group; and A' represents a simple bond or an alkylene group.

Abstract: To improve adhesion of a hydrophilic photographic emulsion to a hydrophobic polyester film base the latter is pretreated by electrical discharge, flame or chemical treatment, and then given a sub-coating composed of an aqueous dispersion of gelatin, a water-soluble polyester, and a polyfunctional aziridine crosslinking agent, and this coating is then thermally cured.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having two or more hydrophilic colloid layers on at least one side of a support, wherein (i) a hydrophilic colloid layer positioned farther from the support contains gelatin, a matting agent having an average particle size of 1 to 5.mu. and colloidal silica and (ii) a hydrophilic colloid layer which is positioned nearer the support than the position of hydrophilic colloid layer (i) contains gelatin and a polymer latex.
