Abstract: A mounting system, for use in securing an electronic device to a recessed light fixture, includes a top hub with an electrical connector, a central hub with a magnet, a bottom hub configured to receive the electronic device, an upper mounting arm coupling the top hub to the central hub, and a lower mounting arm coupling the bottom hub to the central hub and configured to slide through the central hub to adjust the position of the bottom hub relative to the central hub. The magnet is configured to apply force to at least one of the upper and lower mounting arms to fix a position of the bottom hub with respect to the central hub.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a light emitting device package includes: preparing a base frame including an annular base part, at least a pair of lead parts extending to an inner side of the base part, and at least one support part extending to the inner side of the base part in a direction different from that of the lead parts and having a step structure formed on at least one surface of an end thereof; forming a package main body such that the package main body is combined to the step structure of the support part; separating the lead parts from the base part; disposing a light emitting device on at least one of the lead parts; and separating the package main body from the support part.

Abstract: A housing for a Cigarette Lighter Adapter (CLA) or accessory adapter plug facilitates insertion of the plug into a CLA or accessory adapter receptacle. In one embodiment of the invention, the housing is formed in a generally cylindrical shape with an expanded diameter portion defining a gripping portion which facilitates the gripping of the device. The housing may be used to house circuitry for a battery charger and include an indicator light to indicate the state of charge of the battery being charged.

Abstract: A polarized light irradiation device in which formation of an alignment layer of a liquid crystal cell element is enabled by optical alignment is obtained by the fact that light which contains UV light and which is emitted from a discharge lamp is focused by an oval focusing mirror and is reflected by a first flat mirror. This light is incident via a shutter on an integrator lens. The light emerging from the integrator lens is reflected by a second flat mirror and is converted into parallel light by a collimation lens, and is incident in the polarization element. In the polarization element, there are several glass plates spaced parallel to one another and inclined by the Brewster angle relative to the incident light. The polarization element transmits the P-polarized light and reflects the S-polarized light for the most part. The P-polarized light which has emerged from the polarization element irradiates a workpiece via a mask.
