  • Patent number: 7220140
Abstract: The present invention relates to a board connector for electrically connecting together circuit boards which are incorporated in, for example, a mobile telephone. A dust-proof measure is carried out by swingably attaching a cover member to a plug via a fulcrum shaft, and covering contact portions of the plug and socket in a fitting state with the cover member. In one of the plug and the cover member, a protrusion which causes an end portion to continuously butt against another one of the plug and the cover member from one end to another end is disposed, whereby, when the plug is inserted, the force of inserting the plug is evenly transmitted from the cover member to the whole plug. Joining portions which, when the plug and the socket are fitted to each other, are joined to each other in a front side with respect to the fulcrum shaft are disposed in the socket and the cover member.

  • Patent number: 7160157
Abstract: An electrical terminal connection system includes first and second terminals that are interlocked by placing the first terminal on top of the second terminal and rotating the first terminal. The first terminal has a planar ring section with an outer perimeter and a centrally located aperture. The perimeter has cut-out portions. Inclined spring elements extend from the ring section near the outer perimeter. The second terminal includes a semi-circular part with an outer periphery and a centrally located collar. Curved walls extend perpendicularly from the outer periphery. The walls have ledges projecting over the semi-circular part. Aligning the cut-out portions of the first terminal with the curved walls and ledges of the second terminal enables the planar ring section of the first terminal to be placed on the semi-circular part of the second terminal, with the aperture receiving the collar. Rotating or twisting the first terminal causes the spring elements to contact and slide under the ledges.

  • Patent number: 7094707
Abstract: A method of nitriding a gate oxide layer by annealing a preformed oxide layer with nitric oxide (NO) gas in a hot wall, single wafer furnace is provided. The nitridation process can be carried out rapidly (i.e., at nitridation times of 30 seconds to 2 minutes) while providing acceptable levels of nitridation (i.e., up to 6 at. %) and desirable nitrogen/depth profiles. The nitrided gate oxide layer can optionally be reoxidized in a second oxidation step after the nitridation step. A gate electrode layer (e.g., boron doped polysilicon) can then be deposited on top of the nitrided gate oxide layer or on top of the reoxidized and nitrided gate oxide layer.

  • Patent number: 5834696
Abstract: A terminal for coupling wirings of the present invention is simply constructed, features enhance coupling/assembling operability, and needs decreased space. A terminal body (21) is constituted by a wiring connection portion (22) and an overlapping portion (21). an external wiring is fastened by caulking to the wiring connection portion (22) and is connected thereto. An engaging pawl (26) and an engaging piece (27) are formed on the overlapping portion (23) on both sides of the bolt insertion hole (25). The pair of terminal bodies (21) are turned relative to each other in the circumferential direction of the bolt insertion hold (25) in a state where the overlapping portions (23) are overlapped one upon the other on the back surface side thereof. Then, the engaging pawl (26) rides on the engaging piece (27) of the opposing terminal body, and the engaging pawl (26) and the engaging piece (27) come into engagement with each other.
