  • Patent number: 11133617
Abstract: An electrical plug connection has two main contacts—one plug-in contact and one socket contact configured to mate when the contacts are connected. In the connected state, the contacts contact each other at a main contact point. An auxiliary contact is associated with one of the two main contacts to form an assembly and plug unit. The auxiliary contact is designed as a spring contact which contacts the other main contact in the region of a second contact point. When the two plug-in contacts are disconnected, the auxiliary contact is connected in an electrically non-conductive manner to the main contact with which it is associated. In the mating or connected state where the two main contacts contact each other, the auxiliary contact contacts the other main contact with which it is not associated to form an assembly and plug unit at an auxiliary contact point for measuring the power loss across the plug connection.

Abstract: A connector terminal includes a main body, a support leg, and a resilient portion. The main body includes a contact portion making contact with one side of a male connector terminal of a male electric connector, a spring portion facing the contact portion and making contact with the other side of the male connector terminal, a support portion supporting the spring portion, and a space-limiter restricting a space between the contact portion and the support portion from spreading. The support leg is adapted to be fixed at one of ends thereof. The resilient portion connects the other end of the support leg and the contact portion to each other and is resiliently deformable in accordance with deflection of the main body.

Abstract: Disclosed is a connection terminal, a coaxial electrical connector and a wiring structure thereof which could ensure the reliability of the electrical connection between the connection terminal and a coaxial cable core. The connection terminal includes a terminal body, two contact resilient pieces formed by bending and extending from two sides of the terminal body, and a core connection resilient arm extending from a rear end of the terminal body in a direction remote from the contact resilient pieces. The cross-section of the core connection resilient arm is essentially “Z” shaped, and a contact surface for contacting the coaxial cable core is formed on the core connection resilient arm. The contact surface has an arcuate protrusion protruding in a direction remote from the contact resilient pieces. The coaxial electrical connector and the wiring structure thereof all include the above connection terminal.
