  • Patent number: 10553965
Abstract: A quick connect plug for cables includes a connecting portion configured to connect a cable and a plug pin configured to form a plug-in connection with a socket. The plug pin is fixedly provided with a plug-in unit. A portion of the plug-in unit protruding out of an external annular surface of the plug pin forms a locking head matched with a socket slot. A gap is provided between a portion of the plug-in unit near the locking head and the plug pin, so as to enable the locking head to move along an axis direction of the plug pin, and the gap can limit the maximum displacement of the locking head. By providing a plug-in unit and a gap between the portion of the plug-in unit near the locking head and the plug pin, the plug-in unit is enabled to move, thus having certain elasticity.

  • Patent number: 8749987
Abstract: The present invention can relate to multiple-connector assemblies for use in, for example, electronic devices. Each of the connectors are constrained to another connector by aligning one or more complementary sets of reference features. A locating bracket may be used to couple multiple connectors together. Alternatively, the connectors may be coupled to each other directly. The electronic device also may include a retainer coupled to the connectors (either directly or indirectly through the locating bracket). The retainer and a surface of one of the connectors may form a single plane to which an end cap of the housing may be coupled, thereby accurately locating the end cap with respect to the connectors. The present invention also can relate to methods of manufacturing such an electronic device.

  • Patent number: 8062078
Abstract: A press-contact pogo pin connector is provided which has a machining cost lower than those of conventional connectors, can be easily reduced in height, and does not cause instantaneous interruption. A molded insulating housing has a cylinder hole. A pin installed inside the cylinder hole is urged by a coil spring installed inside the cylinder hole so as to protrude from the housing. A flange portion on the rear side of the pin urged by the coil spring abuts against the peripheral portion of the front opening of the cylinder hole on the front side of the housing so that the pin is prevented from falling off. A contact integrally includes a substrate connection terminal portion and a contact spring portion that extends inside the cylinder hole and is brought into press-contact with the pin at all times. The contact is secured to the housing.

Cylindrical bar stock is turned to form the outer contour of the contact, including a contact portion having a diameter larger than an opening into which it will be inserted in use. The contact is made compliant by plunging a cutter having a circular blade rotating about a center of the blade into the contact portion and removing the circular blade from the contact portion to form the slot to have a generally arcuate shape corresponding to the shape of the circular blade. The contact portion is resiliently deformable upon insertion into the opening for exerting a radially outward force within the opening to hold the contact in electrical contact with the opening.

Abstract: To produce a coil device in which fewer components are required, a plurality of coils 20 are attached to an attachment base 10, leading wires 24 of each coil 20 being attached to terminal fittings 30A and 30B of a connector member 13, and a feeder connector C being fitted with the connector member 13. Electricity is distributed to each coil 20 along a path of feeder electric wires W, the feeder connector C, the connector member 13, and leading wires 24. The leading wires 24 of the plurality of coils 20 are attached as a single unit to the single connector member 13. Since the feeder connector C is attached to this connector member 13, fewer components are required compared to the case in which each coil 20 is provided with an individual connector member.
