    Abstract: A connector assembly includes a conductive collet spring with an annular base and integral circumferentially spaced cantilevered generally parallel arms terminating at tip members diametrically spaced closer than the diameter of the base. A conductive housing overlying and electrically and mechanically engaged with the collet spring engageably receives the electrical terminal of a medical stimulating device and includes a distal mounting flange. A non-conductive barrel is fittingly attached to the distal mounting flange of the housing and has an inner bore for receiving a medical electrical lead. A non-conductive header encapsulates the connector assembly, is mounted on the casing, and has a header bore aligned with the inner bore for receiving the medical electrical lead which, when inserted and sufficiently advanced through the header bore, the inner bore, and the annular base, the tip members firmly engage the proximal terminal pin thereof.

    Abstract: According to some embodiments, a junction assembly comprises a mounting base, a U-shaped front-facing spring clip mounted on the mounting base, a transverse release button passing through the mounting base, and a spring-loaded release check situated under the release button. The spring clip clamps an external conductor onto a conductive fixed support when the mounting base is slid forward along the fixed support. When the junction assembly is in its forward position, the release check abuts a backward-facing surface of the mounting base to block the withdrawal of the mounting base. Pressing the release button pushes down the release check to a level below the mounting base to allow sliding the mounting base backward. Longitudinal guide slots disposed on opposing lateral surface of the mounting base accommodate corresponding guide rails of a conductive fixed support. The assembly allows convenient, tool-less connection/disconnection and provides for a large contact area.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the fuse bypass module comprises a housing that has a bypass fuse receptacle for receiving a bypass fuse. Additionally, the fuse bypass module includes an electrical connector on the housing that is electrically coupled to the bypass fuse and that is removably couplable to a fuse panel electrical connector, which is associated with the bypass fuse panel.

    Abstract: A stress relief apparatus for a conductor has two bodies, at least one of which pivots so as to grip the conductor. The bodies have first and second contours, respectively. The contours face each other, so that the smallest distance between the first and second contours changes as the pivoting body pivots. First and second elastic members bias the first and second bodies, respectively, so that each of the first and second bodies engage a cable positioned between the first and second bodies. The bodies may both be pivoting bodies, and may be mirror images of one another. The contours of the bodies may have an elliptical shape. Alternatively, the bodies may have a circular shape, in which case each body pivots about a pivot point that is located at a non-zero distance from the center of that body.

The terminal includes an outer sleeve and a movable collet for movement between first and second positions relative to the outer sleeve. The collet has a plurality of fingers thereon that are movable relatively toward and away from one another between a first spaced apart position less than the diameter of the electrical lead connector pin and a second spaced apart position greater than the diameter of the electrical lead connector pin for receiving and releasing the lead in the second spaced apart position and for gripping the lead in the first spaced apart position. The terminal further includes a spring and a push button release means for moving the collet between its first and second positions.
