  • Patent number: 11771994
Abstract: An example of an information processing apparatus acquires action data based on an output of a sensor according to a fitness action performed by a player, and executes a game event. In the game event, the information processing apparatus designates at least one type of fitness event from among a plurality of types of fitness events. Each fitness event causes the player to perform a fitness action. During the game event, the information processing apparatus executes a fitness event that causes the player to perform a fitness action corresponding to the designated fitness event until an ending condition is satisfied. The information processing apparatus determines whether or not the achievement condition has been satisfied, based on the action data acquired during the fitness event. The information processing apparatus repeats designation and execution of the fitness event until it is determined that the achievement condition has been satisfied.

  • Patent number: 10052263
Abstract: A pacifying cleaning device is comprised, generally, of an elongated and rounded nipple portion attached to a guard portion, a set of bristles protruding from a raised lip displacer located atop the guard portion and located about the base of the nipple portion, and facing generally in the direction of the nipple portion, and a ring attached to the guard portion on the other side. The nipple portion of the pacifying device is inserted by a caregiver into an infant's mouth. The infant sucks on the nipple thereby becoming pacified. As the infant sucks on the nipple, the lip displacer acts to subtly separate an infant's lips so that the bristles attached to the lip displacer can work their way forward into the infant's mouth, between and adjacent to the infant's teeth and/or against the gums. The action of the bristles moving against the teeth and gums serve to clean them, removing contaminants and leaving the infant's teeth much cleaner and free of bacteria than they otherwise would be.

  • Patent number: 9072361
Abstract: This invention provides faster responds times to immediate actions that need to be performed when in a gun fight. Traditional methods in the Law Enforcement community teach to either discard a weapon in case an assailant attacks or deal with a weapons malfunction in some sort of awkward method. The Tactical Magnetic Keeper allows the weapons operator to more efficiently maneuver through hostile situations than traditional methods. A weapons operator can magnetize his or her weapon, magazine, baton, flashlight, hand cuffs, hand cuff key and knife in the event of a violent encounter. The Tactical Magnetic Keeper is a belt clip which holds three Neodymium (NdFeb) Grade magnets in the front of the clip and one on the bottom half of the back side of the clip. The weapons operator can utilize a Tactical Magnetic Keeper on the front of their gun belt and one on the back side.

  • Patent number: 8398449
Abstract: A light-weight toy is attached to a player via a near-invisible fixed-length tether, typically using a low-tack adhesive at the ends of the tether. In especially preferred embodiments, the toy has a mechanism that creates an appearance of plausible possibility of flight without actually providing sufficient lift and/or propulsion for flight. Imaginary flight is achieved by manual lifting and moving the toy via the tether. Thus, the tether forms an integral part of the imaginary play for the player and is not used as an implement of a ‘magic trick’ for an audience.

Abstract: One or more ready-to-use near-invisible fixed-length tethers are provided on a carrier such that each tether can be removed from and reattached to the carrier without tangling. Most typically, such attachment is facilitated by modifying the ends of the tethers with a low tack adhesive and by winding the tether around a spool portion. Especially preferred low-tack adhesives provide adhesion of the tether ends to a user, the carrier, and the toy. In particularly preferred aspects, the tether is attached such that one end is removable while the other end remains attached such that the tether can be unwound from the spool by inverting the carrier.

Abstract: The Baby Band is a chest band with attached toys that are always reachable, in any natural infant position. The infant constantly rediscovers toys when returning hands to a natural resting position. The toy tethers are not long enough to wrap around the infant's neck or get tangled when the infant rolls over or crawls. The toys compress to flat or near flat to allow for normal movement and development, such as rolling or crawling. The flexible band is adjustable for comfort, can be reversible, and gives enough not to be binding, so the infant can wear it for prolonged periods of time without discomfort, but is securely fastened in the back with a variable fastener, such as hook and loop, to prevent it coming off. Also, the adjustable fastener of the chest band allows it to be worn in any state of dress or undress.

  • Patent number: 6482136
Abstract: An exercise and/or play hoop, made of semi-rigid plastic tubing, is partially filled with water (30) to between ⅙ and ½ full, most preferably ¼ full. The water improves the dynamics of the hoop and makes keeping the hoop elevated by gyration easier. The hoop is preferably made of a length of hoop tube (10) bent into a circle. A coupling tube (20) is inserted where the ends (11, 12) abut, spanning over the joint. The coupling tube includes a bore (25) through which the liquid flows circumferentially around inside the hoop, and past the joint. To seal the water in O-rings (41, 42) are used. A decorative, preferably iridescent cover (18) may cover the hoop. Tape (50) keeps the joint together. The hoop may be scented.

  • Patent number: 6450854
Abstract: The present invention is a toy hoop for use by a person. In one embodiment of the present invention, the toy hoop comprises a hoop member having first and second end portions and a first channel adapted to receive flow of a first medium such as water. The toy hoop further comprises an interconnect member having first and second end portions adapted to connect the first and second end portions of the hoop member. The interconnect member comprises a first channel in communication with the first channel of the hoop member to allow the first medium to flow there thru. Each of the first and second end portions have an outside surface and an inside surface. The inside surfaces are downwardly tapered to provide laminar flow of the first medium thru the first channel of the hoop member. The toy hoop further comprises a first inlet port in communication with the first channel to allow the person to adjust the volume of the first medium and therefore the mass of the hoop member and the centrifugal force.

Abstract: A hula hoop, comprising of a plurality of arcuate modules individually having bulged portions with a connection plug and a connection socket being formed at opposite ends of each module, is disclosed. An annular groove is formed at the tip of each bulged portion, with a raised disc-shaped flat base having a continuous tang along its circular top edge and being defined by the annular groove. A recessed locking groove is formed along the root of the base. A pressure projection and a guide projection are interiorly formed on the socket. An engaging slot is formed on the plug at a position diametrically opposite to the guide groove. An engaging projection is formed on the socket at a position corresponding to the engaging slot. A pressure dome, individually having a fitting ring, is attached to each bulged portion of the module. The lower edge of the pressure dome is seated in the annular groove with the fitting ring engaging with the tang of the base.

Abstract: The costume is representative of a character having a head, a body section, and at least two legs. The body section and the legs have a common interior space that is adapted to admit a wearer's lower body section and legs. A pair of false limbs is affixed to a rear of the costume so that they depend downward and forward toward a front of the costume when in use to provide an illusion that when donned the wearer is being carried by the costume character. The character's head is supported in an upright orientation against the wearer's chest with straps. The costume is also interconvertable between the costume configuration and a toy configuration wherein the interior space houses the legs and straps, and only the character itself remains visible.
