Each brassiere cup further includes an underwire assembly having an arcuate wire coupled to a plurality of gel pads. The underwire assembly is housed between the inner foam material and the outer foam material at or adjacent to a lower peripheral area of each brassiere cup. Preferably, each of the gel pads is coupled to respective ends of the arcuate portion.

Abstract: A method of forming a hem of an elastic material includes laying a first stretch fabric sheet upon a second stretch fabric sheet, cutting an excess edge strip from the first stretch fabric sheet and the second stretch fabric sheet along a fuse line and simultaneously fusing the sheets together along the fuse line, positioning an elastic strip between the first and second sheets along the fuse line, and fusing the elastic strip to one of the sheets to form a hem.

Abstract: The utility model relates to the field of women's underwear. The technical problem solved by the utility model is to provide a comfortable arc-shaped underwire with simple structure. The arc-shaped underwire, which is embedded in the lower edge of a bra cup for supporting, the underwire is arc-shaped as a whole and is provided with an inner and outer end that respectively faces and deviates from the middle part of the bra, characterized in that at least one end of the outer and inner end deflects in a direction deviating from the body. This structure is different from the traditional one extending upwards which means the end of the underwire maintains a certain gap with the body to ensure that it would not press the users. In another example, a device includes at least one detachable-strap-interface for converting a bathing suit.

Each bra cup preferably comprises an outermost fabric layer and an innermost fabric layer and at least one intermediate layer intermediate of the outermost fabric layer and the innermost layer. The outermost fabric layer at at least part of at least one of the neckline edge region and underarm edge region of each cup is folded over the intermediate layer and secured at the inner side of the breast cup, preferably joined to the innermost layer through ultrasonic welding. The folded-over portion of the outermost layer is contiguous with and does not overlap the innermost layer. The intermediate layer extends beyond the innermost layer at the neckline edge region and the underarm edge region so that a reduction in thickness is defined at the neckline edge region and the underarm edge region. Abstract: A non-customized standard array of brassieres generated from a grading array including a number of differently-sized bands that each defines an arc. The grading array defines a constant angular band end location across a plurality of band lengths, defines a constant angular cup location for different-sized cups on a single band length as well as for the same or different-sized cups across a plurality of band lengths, and defines a variable bridge distance that varies based on cup size. The non-customized, standard array of brassieres is identifiable by a standard brassiere measuring system where the volume identifier of the cup represents a consistent volume regardless of the band length for which the cup is associated. Further, the standard brassiere measuring system is based on direct body measurements representative of breast volume and underbust circumference.

The folded fabric has two opposing longitudinal edges, a top edge, and a bottom edge. Each of the two elastic bands is positioned in the interior of the folded fabric along a respective longitudinal edge, which also includes notches for orienting the bands. The folded fabric is sewn together at each of the top and bottom edges such that the two elastic bands are held in place. One of the longitudinal edges may be formed by sewing the folded fabric together to form a seam using a pull-out stitch. Each of the two elastic bands may include either of a woven elastic band or a knitted elastic band. The present invention further relates to a brassiere in which the side panels can flex independently of each other in conformance to the wearer's movements.

Each cup defines upper inner and outer portions, lower inner and outer portions, a top, and a bottom, and is configured and dimensioned to hold substantially one breast of a female wearer. Each cup includes a sling portion that is designed to provide lateral support to the respective breast. In this manner, the sling portions bias the cup upper outer portions inwardly to provide push-in cleavage on the wearer's breasts. Abstract: A method for forming a brassiere cup includes the steps of: forming an inner cup member and an outer cup member of the brassiere cup, respectively; spraying or coating the predetermined joining surfaces of the inner and outer cup members with a glue; heating a film and, while the film is softened, attaching it to the glue-sprayed or glue-coated surfaces of the inner and outer cup members by vacuum suction; and assembling and sealing the inner and outer cup members and filling a filler in between the inner and outer cup members. The filler in the brassiere cup thus formed can comply with the breast shape of each user to achieve optimal shaping and supporting effects.

Abstract: There are provided an adhesive brassiere manufactured by using a barrier hole, and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein a brassiere cup mold is manufactured by a computer numerical control (CNC) mold including a barrier hole, the brassiere cup mold is finish-cut by a steel cutter on a press, and an adhesive is applied to an inner surface of a brassiere cup mold so that the adhesive brassiere is secured only by the adhesive strength of the adhesive, without any shoulder or back straps, whereby this strapless and backless brassiere has an esthetically excellent appearance and does not cause any skin irritation problems including itching/inflammation/scratching.

Abstract: Disclosed is a strapless backless seamless adhesive brassiere without waterproofing and a manufacturing method thereof, in which an inner layer, an intermediate layer and an outer layer are sequentially laminated, adhered together using an adhesive agent, heat-pressed in a one-piece form, and then cut in a shape of brassiere cups and an adhesive region using ultrasonic waves, after which adhesiveness is applied only to the adhesive region of the brassiere other than brassiere cups to attach the brassiere to the skin of a wearer, wherein the adhesive layer uniformly infiltrates to a depth of about ½ of the thickness of the intermediate layer through the inner layer and is securely fixed using a solidification process through rapid cooling or high-temperature treatment.

The sports bra comprises an interior liner layer having two faces and an exterior shell layer having two faces and a printed obscuration pattern in between the interior liner layer and the exterior shell layer. The interior liner layer and the exterior shell layer with the printed obscuration pattern are assembled in a way that provides modesty and the printed pattern is not visible from the outside. An optional layer called the intermediate liner layer may be placed in between the exterior shell layer and the interior liner layer.

Abstract: There is provided a breast cup comprising an outer panel including an outer fabric layer, an inner panel including an inner fabric layer to be worn against a wearer's skin, the inner panel including an upper and a lower region, wherein the upper region is closest to and the lower region is furthest from a neckline of a user when the breast cup is worn by the user, and wherein the inner panel includes disposed on at least a portion of the lower region, a discontinuous layer of an elastomeric material to provide a region of high friction when worn against a user's skin. A method of making the same is also provided.

Abstract: A continuous sports bra includes a main body cut from a single piece of tubular material and wrap-around side panels coupled to the main body. The main body includes support cups and is configured to encircle the upper torso of the wearer. The sports bra includes shoulder straps that extend upward from the main body to a back panel. Coupled to the back panel are two side panels that extend forward and thus back around and beneath the support cups of the main body to provide additional support. The free ends of the side panels may clasp together directly or be coupled to the main body proximate a front, central region of the torso.

Abstract: A bra cup is manufactured by an injection molding process. By injecting a liquid material into a mold and allowing the liquid material to cure into a desired bra cup shape, a wider variety of bra cups shapes may be manufactured. Additionally, the bra cup manufactured according to the injection molding process may not have the tendency to expand nor shrink, because the liquid material is cured directly into a solid state having the desired shape. Such an injection molding process may greatly increase the type of shapes that can be manufactured.

Abstract: A bra that is adapted to be a face mask has first and second bra cups, each of which includes an air filter and which are removably coupled to each other with a first attachment means. A formable member is coupled to the air filter of each bra cup. One end of a first body strap is coupled to the first bra cup and one end of a second body strap is coupled to the second bra cup. A second attachment means removably couples the second ends of the first and second body straps together. When the bra is to be used as a face mask, the first and second body straps are separated and the second attachment means is used to couple the first body strap to the first bra cup via the first attachment means as the first bra cup is separated from the second bra cup.

A cushioning structure for the underwire comprises an inner sleeve for receiving the underwire, the inner sleeve having two major surfaces and opposed elongate edges; a cushioning material covering at least one of the major surfaces; and a panel of outer fabric having first and second opposed elongate edges; wherein the first and second elongate edges of the panel of outer fabric each fold over an opposed elongate edge of the inner sleeve to substantially cover the cushioning material. A cushioning structure and a method of making the same are also provided.

Abstract: A molded brassiere cup is disclosed in which an underwire is located between sheets of material which provide the outer and inner surfaces of the brassiere cup. During manufacture an insert of a cushioning substance, preferably a piece of foam, is located between the inner sheet of material and the underwire. The invention avoids prior art complex casing structures for underwires and is cheaper to manufacture.

Abstract: Methods of molding a non-woven fabric are provided. The methods include selecting a non-woven fabric having a web of randomly disbursed fibers, compressing the non-woven fabric between a top mold and a bottom mold, and maintaining the non-woven fabric between the top and bottom molds for a predetermined dwell time to define a molded depth and a molded diameter in the non-woven fabric. In some embodiments, the method includes exposing the non-woven fabric to mechanical agitation. In other embodiments, the method includes selecting the top and bottom molds to have a depth that is larger than the molded depth by about 30 to about 50 percent and a diameter that us larger than the molded diameter by less than about 10 percent.
