Abstract: Examples of a garment, such as a bra or sports bra, having cup pockets with concealed openings are described. The garment has openings into the cup pockets that are positioned on the side wings of the front portion of the garment. The side wings of the back portion of the garment and the side wings of the front portion of the garment at least partially overlap to conceal or hide the openings into the cup pockets.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a bra system comprising a single-piece pad insert and a bra having a front portion with a pocket in communication with a pocket space formed between two textile layers used to form the front portion of the bra. The single-piece pad insert is used to provide shaping, modesty and support. When desired, a wearer can insert the pad insert into the bra by way of the pocket opening.

Abstract: A brassiere disclosed herein includes a cup, a band coupled to and disposed below the cup, and a pocket disposed on the band. The pocket may be formed by an inner panel and an outer panel that are coupled together at their edges. The pocket may be sized and shaped to receive a portable electronic device. The outer panel of the pocket may be constructed from a mesh material that permits visibility of the contents of the pocket. The mesh material of the outer panel may also enable a wearer of the brassiere to activate or utilize the touch screen of a portable electronic device disposed within the pocket without removing the portable electronic device from the pocket or without reaching within the pocket.

Abstract: A bra is disclosed comprising a body portion and left and right adjustable shoulder straps. The body portion comprises a back panel, left and right front panels, an adjustable torso strap, and a releasable front closure. The left and right front panels comprise cups having an interior mesh lining over at least a portion of each cup. The mesh lining forms a pocket with each cup and has a coating comprising an antibacterial, antimicrobial agent. The adjustable torso strap comprises a back torso strap, left and right front torso straps, and left and right side torso straps. The left and right side torso straps have end portions that are removably attachable to left and right front torso straps. When attached to the left and right front torso straps, the left and right side torso straps and left and right front panels define left and right drainage ports.

Abstract: A moisture management fabric using denier differential to facilitate the movement of sweat away from the wearer's body is presented. An exemplary moisture management support garment constructed from an exemplary moisture management fabric is presented. An exemplary moisture management support garment is a moisture transporting sport bra. A denier differential is employed to provide superior moisture transporting and evaporation of perspiration from a wearer during exertion. The denier differential relies upon a facing layer and a back layer with substantially different yarn thickness and fabric porosity to achieve fluid transport.

Abstract: The disclosure concerns a bra adapted for athletic use, of the type comprising a first cup and a second cup, each of them bounded laterally by an outer edge and by an inner edge, and outfitted with a support structure and a base structure. A film layer is located between the front face of the interior liner layer and the back face of the exterior shell layer. The film layer becomes stiffer as a frequency of movement of a wearer's breasts increases, thereby absorbing forces caused by the movement of the wearer's breasts. A method for constructing a sports bra front panel with a thermally-induced shape memory polymer that exhibits viscoelastic properties when at body temperature and stiffens to absorb between about 0.015 N and about 0.03 N of force at frequencies of breast movement of between about 6 Hz and about 15 Hz is also disclosed.

A sport impact protection and motion control bra including a pair of cups dimensioned to encompass the majority of the breasts of a user. The cups are configured to effectively transfer local impact force through the cup to be dissipated through the bra and surrounding breast tissue and restrict motion of the breasts relative to the body of a user. The lower edge of each cup may include an inflexion section extending between the torso and breast sections of the bra.

Abstract: A nursing bracelet includes an adjustable elongate flexible band with a first fastener on a first side near a first end and a complementary second fastener on a second side opposite the first side at a second end. The nursing bracelet may be formed into a closed loop to hold a garment away from a woman's breast during breastfeeding or while using a breast pump to collect breast milk. The nursing bracelet may be worn on a wrist to remind a woman which breast was last used for breastfeeding a child or for collecting breastmilk, or alternately as a reminder about which breast is to be used for the next breastfeeding or breastmilk collection.

Abstract: A multi-sectional bra assembly and method of use may be provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the bra assembly may include a breast support piece formed by a pair of breast support cups and adjacent side panels. A first and second back strap component may be releasably connected to the side panels via a first set of attachment elements located at the periphery of each side panel and at a first end of each back strap component. Back strap components may also be releasably connected to one another via a second set of attachment elements located at a second end of each back strap component. The breast support piece and back strap components may further include shoulder strap receiving elements to which detachable shoulder strap components may be secured. A plurality of back and shoulder strap variations may be adjustable and interchangeable about the breast support piece.

Each of the reinforcement plates include fingers extending from an outside of a respective bra cup toward a center of the respective bra cup. The fingers include a first finger extending under the area of the respective cup.

Abstract: A cell phone compartment is provided in a molded cup. A pocket space is formed in the molded cup. The molded cup can be incorporated into a bra or be provided as a standalone padded pocket. A bra with an integral pocket or case is easily and discreetly accessed. The phone is placed in the pocket and accessed through an opening. In some embodiments a channel is formed between the opening and the pocket. The pocket may comprise a rigid case and/or a protective shield. The molding acts as padding to increase comfort and smooth appearance on the outside convex surface of the bra cup.

Abstract: A post-surgery bra includes an aperture appropriately sited to so that tubes from a boost-treatment device or drain implanted in a wearer of the bra protrude therethrough. The post-surgery bra includes a fixation element for immobilizing the tubes of the boost-treatment device that protrude through the aperture. In some embodiments, the post-surgery bra also includes a retaining ring, which is coupled to the bra below the breast cup nearest to the aperture and which is openable and closeable for engaging and securing a loop of material that extends from the collection bulb of the drain.

Abstract: A method and system for the prevention of Destructive Electrostatic Discharge (DED) damage to outer garments caused by triboelectric charge discharging to the wearer's body through a distinct point of discharge at a conductor in contact with or close proximity to the wearer's skin. The method consists of interposing an insulating layer of high dielectric strength at the conductor such that the conductor is insulated from either the skin of the wearer or the outer garment and the circuit of triboelectric charge through the conductor is broken. The system includes a conductor and an insulating layer positioned between the outer garment and the skin of the wearer on either side of the conductor.

Abstract: A reversible bra for compression stabilizing the breast mass against motion relative to the torso includes a zipper side and a non-zipper side with shoulder straps in a pattern to approximately match the contours of a female user's torso whether the zipper is worn in the front or in the back. The zipper in positioned on the zipper side down the center of the zipper side from a seam at the top adjacent the straps to provide a non-stretchable seam which reduces the stretch area at the location of the breasts to provide greater compression when the zipper is in the front. The bra may be reversed so that a greater area of stretch fabric is position to apply compression against the breast and thereby proved for lessened compression against the breast when the zipper is position in the back of the user.

Abstract: An interchangeable and adjustable bikini attachment and closure system that hides from view undesirable mechanical elements of bikini and bra-like articles of apparel, reduces material and garment waste, and provides a versatile, cost-effective solution for creating multiple swimwear “looks” without purchasing full sets or pieces of swimwear each season. The modular swimwear system uses novel closure and attachment mechanisms in the form of unique connector elements for both bikini tops and bikini bottoms to accomplish its interchangeable and versatile features.

Abstract: Medical brassieres are shown and described. In one embodiment, the medical brassiere includes a first helical region and a second helical region, an adjuster, and a pair of opposing impact absorbent pads having an embedded silver infused antimicrobial and an arched lower end. Each of the helical regions include a reinforcing seam that is generally positioned along peripheral portions of the first helical region and second helical region. The medical brassiere is generally donned by a patient with an implanted medical device to provide comfort and protection against the device. In some examples, the brassiere includes a stretchable periphery assembly to provide freedom of movement, while providing uniform compression over a surgical site. The result is devices and methods to protect and comfort implanted devices, while providing an aesthetically-pleasing appearance.

Abstract: A hands-free lactation aid and soothing garment can be used for simultaneous warm and cool therapy. Therapeutic cozies can be used in conjunction with a camisole or nursing camisole, bra, or nursing bra or apparel, can be inserted into a cozy cover for use with an adjustable neckband. With the appropriate breast cozies, breast pumping or nursing can occur simultaneously with warm/cool therapy, and a privacy shield attaches easily. An additional neck therapy insert can be used to sooth a sore neck, while an additional nipple soother can be attached to the center of the cozies to provide simultaneous warm and cold therapy to the effected area.

The cups are horizontally spaced at most 10 cm from one another by a bridge piece. The bridge piece is a dimensionally stable molded that holds the cups at a constant spacing from one another.

Abstract: Disclosed is a support garment. The support garment is particularly configured to permit a post-surgical drainage tube to pass through the support garment unobstructed, thereby permitting the drainage of blood and other bodily fluids from the surgical site. The support garment employs a series of elastic panels joined in a way to provide comfort and utility, and includes a fastener in the front for enabling a wearer with decreased mobility to more easily apply and remove the support garment.

Abstract: A garment configured to be worn by a wearer having two breasts may include a set of two support structures and a housing. The support structures may be positioned within the housing such that each support structure corresponds to a position between a center and a bottom of one of the wearer's breasts when the garment is worn by the wearer. Each support structure may be configured to reposition a portion of a volume of the wearer's respective breast and support a portion of a weight of the wearer's respective breast when worn by the wearer. Abstract: The present disposable push up bra liner consists of a pair of bra cup pads and a center pad, each having an adhesive side for removably attaching said pad to a bra and an absorptive side composed of four separate layers. The present invention provides a novel and comfortable means for absorbing excessive perspiration around the bra line in order to avoid unsightly stains on the wearer's surrounding clothing and odors. The present invention is simple to use, easy to install, and may be freely disposed of at any point. The disposable bra liner further provides vertical support for a wearer's breasts, essentially converting any conventional bra into a push-up bra.

Abstract: A shoulder support device includes a flexible elastic continuous ring band and a slide adjustably movable on the band that divides the band into a pair of loops defining arm receiving apertures that are cupped over the curved deltoid region of each shoulder of a wearer to pull the shoulders back and downward under tension to achieve a correct posture position. The slide is moveable to adjust tension distributed to the wearer's shoulders. When the slide is positioned midway between the shoulder blades at the back of the wearer, it provides equal distributed tension on both shoulders. Moving the slide more to the left or more to the right allows the wearer to selectively adjust which shoulder receives more tension.

Abstract: Disclosed is a brassiere that is adjustable for varying levels of modesty or daring. The brassiere includes a modesty panel that is integrated to the design of the brassiere, but is also interchangeable with other modesty panels. The modesty panel can be selected from among a set of modesty panels. In this manner, a wearer may vary the look of an outfit or ensemble by using modesty panels of varying colors, fabrics, textures, or levels of modesty or daring. In various embodiments, the modesty panel is fastened to the brassiere using traditional hook and loop fasteners. In other various embodiments, the to modesty panel may be fastened using hook material and corresponding loop material, or may be fastened using buttons or snap fasteners. Any other manner of fastening systems may be used to render the modesty panel combined with the brassiere as a single article of clothing.

The shaped articles from such dispersions can be heat-activated for bonding, lamination, and adhesion of substrates, including stretch fabrics.

The customizable brassiere, or a portion thereof, can have one or more cups for receiving the breasts and for supporting the breasts in a desired position. Attachment tabs can be attached to or formed into a portion of the customizable brassiere. The attachment tabs can be used to attach the customizable brassiere to the body of the wearer and/or to an article of clothing, if desired. The customizable brassiere can be cut to the desired configuration based upon an outfit the wearer plans to wear, or according to other needs or preferences. The customizable brassiere can include a number of fastening mechanisms, which may be accessed via access areas formed in one or more layers of the customizable brassiere. Abstract: Disclosed are moisturizing fabric materials for use in articles of wear such as bras. The moisturizing fabric materials include a moisturizer comprising plant oil, plant extract, and an emulsifier. The moisturizer is bonded to polymeric fabric material via a bonding agent to provide the moisturizing fabric material. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing an article of wear such as a bra using moisturizing fabric material.

Abstract: A garment configured to be worn by a human includes an inner surface, an outer surface, and a color-coded size indicia. The inner surface is configured to face toward the human. The outer surface is positioned opposite the inner surface on the garment and is configured to face away from the human. The garment further includes at least one opening configured to receive a body part of the human. The color-coded size indicia is provided on the inner surface of the garment. The colored-coded size indicia is not visible from an exterior of the garment when the garment is worn by the human.

Abstract: The invention relates to a variable tension chest support for use by patients having undergone thoracic surgery. The chest support may be worn directly on the skin of a patient and comprises a band of stretchable material and one or more grips which are wholly or partially concealed within pockets with which the patient may alter the tension of the chest encircling band. The device allows a patient to modify the level of tension applied to the chest, thus managing the recovery process, while providing a basic level of support at all times the support is in use.
