A basic idea of the invention is to provide an installation tool, which allows controlling a setting of a device by performing a simple and intuitive action with the tool, for example turning the tool like a screwdriver. An embodiment of the invention provides an installation tool (10) for a wireless network of devices, wherein the tool comprises a transceiver (12) to communicate wirelessly information with devices of the wireless network, an action detector (14) for detecting a user action with the tool, and a controller (16) configured to control a setting of one or more devices by means of the wireless transceiver upon receipt of an action signal from the action detector.
