Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing hollow body elements (200), for example, nut elements which are applied to components which are normally made of steel (280), in particular, for producing hollow body elements having an essentially quadratic or rectangular external profile (202). Said method consists of cutting individual elements of a profile in the form of a profile rod (1) or a winding after holes (204) have previously been stamped in the profile, a threaded cylinder (206) is subsequently, optionally, formed using a follow-on composite tool (10) which consists of several working stations. The invention is characterized in that a penetrating process and a punching process are carried out in the working station. The invention also relates to hollow body elements (200), components, follow-on composite tools (10) and rolling mills (600, 602).

Abstract: A predicted boat speed value generator, in accordance with one or more embodiments, receives an engine rotation signal, an intake pressure value, and other detection signals including shift position, and provides a predicted boat speed value. A control signal generator determines the fuel injection amount, the amount of air, and the ignition timing based on the predicted boat speed to provide respective control signals. The predicted boat speed value generator includes a predicted boat speed mapped value extraction process to search through the predicted boat speed value map during the constant speed operation and acceleration, based on the rotational speed and the intake pressure, to extract the predicted boat speed mapped value ā€œdā€ for output. A predicted decelerating boat speed value output process establishes the initial predicted boat speed value to provide the attenuated predicted boat speed value in every cycle.

  • Patent number: 5755133
Abstract: An improved screw washer, and an improved mold for fabricating the improved screw washer. Using a selected metal plate having a thickness thinner than a nominal height demanded for a nut, the invention primarily aims to form an improved screw washer incorporating a nut satisfying the demanded height. The invention is to provide an improved screw washer, and an improved mold for fabricating the screw washer. Particularly, using this improved mold, the improved screw washer can easily be manufactured, where the above-identified nut is solidly bonded with the metal plate without being disengageable therefrom, and yet, a sufficiently lengthy tapped hole is formed. Structurally, a nut is formed in the state of being continuous to a metal plate after punching out part of the metal plate.
