  • Patent number: 9629405
Abstract: An enhanced resistance suit for use while training has a pair of compression shorts that have a plurality of attachment bands arranged in two columns down each leg. The attachment bands have at least one attachment ring secured on each in order to form a matched horizontal connectable pair. A user can removably attach resistance bands to the pairs to provide resistance while training. A pair of arm bands also have attachment rings connected to them and allow a user to removably connect a pair of arm resistance bands to a matching attachment band located on a waist portion of the shorts. A belt is provided to help secure the shorts. Shoes are used that also have attachment rings located on a heel portion and a toe portion to provide vertical jump training as well as calf muscle training. Sensors may be added to the suit to enhance use.

  • Patent number: 9604091
Abstract: A variable weight toning strap having a flexible member and a plurality of generally rectangular sections, wherein each of the plurality of generally rectangular sections are disposed transversely along the flexible member length, include a top surface at least partially defining an upper surface of the flexible member, at least one perpendicular sidewall extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the top surface, and a section width separating a rear face and a front face of the sections. Two of the sections have a discontinuous upper slit defined by the at least one perpendicular sidewall of each of said sections flanking the upper slit, wherein the upper slit spans the section width and terminates into a valley. The sections also define a plurality of channels therein, which house a plurality of weights, each selectively removably and frictionally retained by the respective plurality of channels.

  • Patent number: 9327159
Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a weight system enabling a user to configure the system for the performance of various exercises. The invention comprises a multiplicity of generally cylindrical weights which are inserted into weight receiving bores equally spaced around a central bore of a generally cylindrical body with a first and second face. A post with at least one end is configured to releasably engage the central bore on the first face of the body. A first collar releasably engages the first end of the post proximal to the body to prevent the weights from exiting the weight receiving bore to form a kettlebell. In an alternate embodiment, the second end of the post is configured to releasably engage a central bore of a second generally cylindrical body which mirrors the configuration of the first generally cylindrical body to modify the kettlebell configuration into a dumbbell configuration.
