Abstract: A comfortable inflatable pillow, manufactured to be affordably priced, designed to withstand the weather challenges associated with beaches, and other outdoor settings, by utilizing soft fabric that wicks away water and sheds sand, that has an attached pouch that can be filled with sand, or other weighted objects, to prevent the pillow from being blown around in windy conditions, that contains an internal pocket that can accommodate a tailor-made cooling and heating gel pack for hot or cold external temperatures, and that provides an optional incline position for added comfort when reading or surveying the landscape.

Abstract: A system and non-intrusive method for exercise posture detection are provided. The system includes a mat, at least one sensor matrix comprising one or more sensors and configured to generate an electrical signal upon making a contact by the user with the mat, a plurality of sensor lines, a plurality of power lines and a processing subsystem. The processing subsystem includes a data acquisition module configured to extract a first set of data, to extract a second set of data; a data processing module to process the first set of data and the second set of data, to concatenate the first set of data and the second set of data to get a final set of data, to compare the final set of data with a pre-defined set of posture data, to determine the posture of the at least one exercise.

Abstract: An innovative electronic exercise or yoga mat, integrating a T-shaped mat with a cross-shaped mat, allows an instructor and users to see each other in all exercise/yoga postures during an exercise and/or yoga class session. The mat also prevents a user and/or the instructor from having to face sideways, from touching the floor during certain postures, and from having to turn and twist or otherwise moving about the room in order to see one another. The mat provides a structure for incorporating various body inserts and electronic sensors that wirelessly communicate with the user's personal computing (PC) device. Thus, the mat allows the user to customize the desired mat thickness and detects mat pressure and vitals along the entire surface of the mat during an exercise/class session, providing the user with useful and vital information. Further, the mat offers a mechanism rolling up the mat for travel/storage.

The walls are arranged about the periphery of the floor in series in a ring formation such that each of the walls has two neighboring walls. Each wall has a fabric portion and a wire loop, the wire loop disposed near the periphery of the fabric portion such that the fabric portion is supported by the wire loop. Each of the walls attached to its two neighboring walls by hourglass-shaped gussets made of a sheet of flexible material.

Abstract: A transportable launch and landing pad for drones includes a round surface member for supporting a drone on a ground surface. The surface member includes an endless flexible weighted ground surface contacting, engaging and conforming perimeter disposable on the flat or undulating topography of the ground surface. The endless flexible weighted ground surface contacting, engaging and conforming perimeter is formed of a stranded carbon steel wire rope. The surface member has a diameter establishing an area of the pad that is greater than any linear distance across an area of downwardly moving air of the drone when operated. The pad maintains a position on the ground surface without any separate securing member inserted into the ground, and the pad is not lifted from the ground surface by air from the thrust of the drone during approach and departure of the drone relative to the pad.

Abstract: New forms of sand-resistant towels, mats, and other textiles, devices, systems and methods are provided. In some aspects of the invention, a beach towel or mat with an inherent sand guard at its edge, and around its periphery, is provided. In other aspects, the guard comprises an internal inflatable skeleton, optimized to demark a home base and prevent small children from wandering from a play area on or about the home base. In still other aspects, the towel or mat is configured for packing and toting by folding and rolling techniques, and the towel or mat presents specialized packing, toting and other devices, such as a sealable pocket(s), reversible self-holding strap(s) and a shoulder strap(s), when so folded and rolled. In several embodiments, the profile and component material(s) of the towel or mat are also specialized to prevent the influx and retention of sand and other loose ground particles.

Abstract: A collapsible device comprises a flexible body configured to extend in length from a collapsed state to an extended state. In the extended state, the flexible body is bent to contour around a neck of a wearer to provide support to the neck. The flexible body has an internal, hollow chamber for storing objects within the flexible body in the collapsed state. When in the extended state, the volume of the hollow chamber increases. The flexible body further includes an open end for accessing the hollow chamber. The collapsible device further includes a slid configured to couple to the open end of the flexible body to seal the objects stored in the hollow chamber.

Abstract: A carrying case for storing folding chairs, tents, and outdoor equipment. The carrying case includes a sidewall between a first end having an opening and a closed second end forming an interior volume. A collar is positioned at the first end and includes a channel that is coaxially aligned with the opening of the first end such that the equipment enters the interior volume through the channel of the collar and the opening. The collar further comprises a distal end having a first diameter that tapers to a smaller second diameter at a proximal end. In a foot recess embodiment, a foot recess forms a compartment on the sidewall that is adapted to receive a foot or toe of a user. In a foot flange embodiment, the carrying case includes a flange that extends about the second end that is adapted to receive a foot or toe of a user.

Abstract: A competition mat protection device includes an elongate body that has a length and a width that correspond to the length and width of a competition mat. The elongate body has a bottom surface that is positioned on a top surface of the competition mat when the competition mat is in a deployed configuration. When the competition mat is rolled up to a stowed configuration, the elongate body of the mat protection device is positioned between the top surface and a bottom surface of the competition mat to prevent the transfer of dirt and bacteria from the bottom surface onto the top surface of the competition mat. The elongate body has a length to extend around the competition mat in the stowed configuration to protect an outer surface of the mat.

Abstract: The invention is directed toward an improved yoga mat for use on uneven surfaces and outdoors. The invention is a yoga mat comprising a top layer of pliable material, a bottom layer of pliable material, and a plurality of rigid slats positioned between the top layer of pliable material and the bottom layer of pliable material. The rigid slats are composed of bamboo and the pliable material is thermoplastic elastomer. In another embodiment of the invention, a plurality of rigid slats are positioned along the width of the yoga mat and a plurality of rigid slats are positioned along the length of the yoga mat. In another embodiment of the invention the yoga mat comprises a plurality of rigid slats encased in a continuous pliable surface material. The rigid slats prevent the yoga mat from slipping when used outdoors or on an uneven surface.

Abstract: A multipurpose wind resistant beach towel that has trapezoid shaped open-ended pockets attached to the bottom surface of the towel to form sand traps that anchor said towel to the sand and prevent the wind from displacing the towel. Open-ended pockets are used for ease of filling and removal of sand. Additionally the present invention allows for the removal of unwanted sand and debris from the surface of the said towel without removing it from the anchored position. The sun towel is round in shape, and comes equipped with built-in pockets sewn in between the top-side of towel and backing; fit to encapsulate removable waterproof storage pouches. Built-in grommets allow the towel to be secured into the ground with plastic spikes. The towel can be rolled and folded to fit into any carry-all.

Abstract: A diaper changing system utilizes a diaper holder member on which a diaper is to be positioned. Flaps extend outward from the holder member and are foldable over the diaper to maintain it in position on the holder member. The system also includes a unique baby supporting pad configured to be placed on the user's lap. The supporting pad can be utilized to maintain a diaper or in combination with the holder member supporting the diaper. A strap circumscribes the leg of the user to maintain the holder member and supporting pad on the user's leg. Once the supporting pad and/or the holding member, with diaper attached, is secured on the user's leg, the baby is placed on the diaper. The diaper is then wrapped around the baby and secured. The baby is removed from the system's components, which are then folded and compacted for storage and transport.

Abstract: A new orthopedic prayer mat proposed, whereas the new orthopedic prayer mat has a multiple layered structure. The top layer is made from microfiber which is antimicrobial, anti-molding, water-resistant, anti-dust and heat-resistant. The bottom layer is an anti-slip layer to prevent the user from physical injury in any situation while using the mat, and a soft polyurethane layer and an anti-fatigue layer or a hard polyurethane layer are arranged between the top microfiber layer and the bottom anti-slip layer in order to absorb pressure pressure and providing support, and the soft and hard polyurethane layer are combined at an angle to adjust the ratio of the weight-absorption and bearing to form the orthopedic prayer mat. A portion of the bottom pad is unattached to the mat adjacent to the peripheral edge to define a bag pocket extending between the mat and the bottom pad. The bag is removable from the pocket after the soiled diaper is changed to receive the mat. The bag is configured to receive the soiled diaper for disposal of the mat and the soiled diaper.

Abstract: A hygienic bench towel for covering an exercise bench before a user sits on the bench to protect the user from sweat, germs and contamination left by a previous user. The bench towel has a semi rigid handle which enables a user to move the towel form one bench to another without touching the contaminated side of the towel. Another advantage provided by the handle is that the user always knows which side of the towel should be placed against the workout bench The towel is provided with spaced apart tabs at that end of the towel which is draped over the back of the bench to allow the towel to conform to framework which may be present at the center of the back of the bench. The handle is located on the towel so that the tabs don't become contaminated when the towel is moved using the handle. When the user is finished with the towel, the user folds the towel using the uncontaminated tabs and places the towel in a bag for transport to laundry services.
